We had a reservation and they seated us 45 minutes late. Although the food was good we were overcharged and the service was terrible. Overall bad experience
We took out exhausted 7 and 4 year olds after a BoSox game and thought this place was a perfect place for that. They honored our reservation right on time and we were in and out in an hour. The kids loved the interactive food (lobster and crab) and we had a great family night of great local seafood.
This place should be advertised as a bar more than a restaurant. I would never have picked this place to bring my 14 year old daughter for a special night out. Plus, shared seating at picnic tables is not something I ever want to do, so that should be definetly pointed out! When we asked for outside seating instead of the indoor seating, we were told the next one would be ours, we had a reservation. we watched 20 minutes later as a couple ( with a dog!) were given the table we were told we could have. When I asked the man behind the desk, to turned to the hostess and asked her and she shrugged her shoulders. Your kidding me!! NEVER AGAIN
Always a must for visitors, it gives a great Boston vibe.
Very good food and waitress was attentive and pleasant.
This is the perfect date place! The only thing better than sharing food with a cool person is having fun whilst doing so. The crabs and lobsters are amazing and the atmosphere is always on point.
The crab cake sliders were full of flavor! Fun place...
This was a fun place to dine. The clam chowda and lobster mac and cheese hit the spot. The Boston made cider was worthy of several pints. The Boston Crème Pie was delicious. Atmosphere was cute and on waterfront.
The seafood is fresh,
The lobster is great!
I liked it!
A super experience!
Crabcakes were great. Lobster was good but probably better in summer. Waitress was rushed so it may be understaffed.
Delicious clam chowder! The oysters were also amazing. Unique, fun atmosphere
Not worth the money, can find better food in the area
Comfortable social atmosphere, reasonable prices, really good crab
although it was a VERY cold night...the food was just OK for the high prices on the menu...fish and chips had been undercooked and greasy.....way too much sand in the steamers which made them inedible.....realize its off season...but prices weren't..so food shouldn't either
Awesome food a little expensive but worth it
I go here often and will continue to do so.
We were in from out of town--loved the atmosphere and the food was outstanding! Can't wait to go back when it's warmer and sit outside!
Great place, charming and with lots of character.
I went with my wife and 2 kids, our 1st time eating at the Boston Seaport. Our Uber driver recommended this restaurant for seafood. We were not disappointed, great seafood especially the crab. Good beer and wine selection. Great service in a causal atmosphere with in the revitalized Boston seaport.
I wanted something that offered fresh local seafood and nice selection of local beer drafts but also near the water. This place fit all of those. Walk in and the place is really cozy. Tables are pretty close to each other and our table was slanted. We tried the crab dip which I thought was just okay. It seemed rather runny vs a more solid consistency. Perhaps didn't let sit long enough to gel. And then I tried the lobster mac and cheese which I felt tasted like boxed mac and cheese with lobster tossed on. The atmosphere inside was great with the unique lighting and the old style fireplace but not sure I'd return here for anything other than drinks.
This Restaurant has an exquisite taste in the food you are going to get there! it has excellent service and the environment is great!!!
Music is too loud. Better to go in warm weather.
The seafood was fresh and tasty and the serving sizes were generous. Highly recommend the hot crab dip, crab cakes and grilled lobster . The restaurant was quiet on a Sunday night but there was a great vibe and we got a window view of the water.
Firre Grilled Lobster is excellent as well as Crab Dip. Easy location to get to.
Excelente comida. El cangrejo estaba muy bien.
El servicio regular
Good food, a bit expensive, good location, not so easy to find.
We went as a family of 8 adults and 4 kids. It was a little slow for the kids but all in all a great experience.
The food was awesome. We were referred by a local. The atmosphere is very casual. A great waterside place to hang out.
Great place. Great service. Great seafood meals. Thanks.
Our service was excellent and so was the crab. I'd go again in a heartbeat!
Great service and big portions! Excellent drinks.
Great Food, Had the Chowder, Clam Bellies and Haddock
Food was excellent , service was great price was great.
Absolutely amazing place! The highlight of our trip to Boston. He restaurant itself was great, awesome views and great decor and ambience. The food was delicious, huge portions and great value for money. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!!! A Boston must
Grossly overpriced food that's just OK. Service extremely inattentive and unhappy made for a poor experience. They seemed more interested in hanging with manager and other servers than taking care of guests. Would not recommend...go anywhere else as you'll pay less and hopefully get better food and service.
Had never been to this place before, but always wanted to go. As expected it's a classic "fish shack" except it's on Boston harbor in the newly re-born Seaport District. The food was very good and the atmosphere is best described as casual and fun. Clam chowder is outstanding!
Went here a few weeks ago. The hostess had zero desire to be there. I give her 2 weeks before she gets fired or quits.
