Nice birthday celebration. Server and hostess provided great customer service.
If you like too loud music, badly prepared food and indifferent service, this is the place for you.
The girl with braids in charge of checking us in and seating us was extremely rude, ghetto and unprofessional. Also! She also did not card anyone in our party nor did she check anyone’s bags but was more concerned about why we were seated 8 to a table when the table seats 8 people. I guess underage drinking and safety are less important now? Her entire attitude and demeanor made me cross this place off my list forever. Our waiter was very nice and friendly. He treated us well but the food was bland and not worth $45! Especially for only 2 mimosas. I always loved barcode but after this visit i will not be back.
I went for Brunch and the food was nasty! No one in the party was pleased with their food and it defiantly WASN'T worth $45. I've heard so many great things about their brunch but ultimately left disappointed. Also the hostess was rude and had an attitude. We were a table of 8 and all sat at one table being as though there was room for 8, not realizing the max was 6. Very rudely she approached us telling us to move which isn't the problem but it's how you say things. She should've been more concerned with checking bags and IDS which they didn't do. I'm just disappointed because it was a celebration for my niece birthday and wasn't a good experience. The only pro I can say is that the waiter was so welcoming and nice!
Went for brunch with a friend and special menu said it was $30 but ended up being $35.
I love it we had a ball and only $36 for a bottle of champagne the good kind ill be back🥰
Really enjoyed brunch and will definitely be back. Everything was great from the service to the food, and really liked the live dj spinning while we ate.
The restaurant is simply over priced...because they add an automatic 20% gratuity the servers are not responsive...several times we had to get up to find someone to deliver basic needs, salt, pepper, napkins, water, etc. Unacceptable
Chicken was BLAND!!! It was cooked perfect but it definitely needs some seasoning!
They hostess as very rude and not accommodating at all
Waitress was rude and didn’t seemed particularly interested in our general existence. Never filled water or asked if we wanted more drinks.
Barcode has great food, that’s the one thing that brings me back each time. But the ambiance and great service tops off the experience.
The establishment has taken decent measures to keep staff and guest safe during the pandemic ( mask, hand sanitizer, spaced seating) I would recommend increased cleaning of bathrooms.
Service: My visit overall was poor, I was seated quickly but waited over 10 minutes while servers walked right pass my table. I ended up walking to the hostess station and informed her that we had not been waited on. She was very nice, apologized and said she will take care of it. I waited another 2 min and a female waitress hands us waters and says she’ll give us time to review the menus. We had already reviewed the menu close to 15 min at this point and knew what we wanted but she walked off so fast after her statement we couldn’t get a word in. 5 min later a male waiter approached us and took our order.
Food: overall poor/ The bang bang shrimp was good. We both ordered chicken and waffles. The meal lacked flavor, chicken could have been cooked a bit longer, waffles were not hot, and presentation showed no effort.
The music was nice, good selection and volume for a lounge establishment.
Great service and food... music wasn't loud and the drinks were exactly to my liking
It was for a birthday celebration and we truly enjoyed ourselves
Food was great the outside seating was amazing! First time there & I will be back!
Food was delicious and drinks were tasty!! Only thing I could say was the waitress was busy and it took a while for someone to cater to us. There was a nice gentleman who made sure we were ok with the food and drinks.
Service was great and brunch menu was amazing!
Brunch with a great vibe more of a party brunch
The tables were well distanced. The service was great. The food was WOW. I couldn’t have asked more for a late brunch. Barcode sure does it well even with a limited menu.
Always a pleasant experience from the owner down!
Great service, very clean. Will definitely visit again.
Customer service was great!! Very classy ambiance.
We wanted to go somewhere with good food and music for our anniversary and Barcode made the cut!
Barcode wouldn't honor our reservations from opentable. When after arguing with one of their rude hostesses the guy in charge found us a table. Our waiter was kind but disappeared after taking a drink orders for a while. But once we place and received our orders the food was bland, all our food ( chicken tacos, spinach and artichoke dip and wings) mind you one of the dips was burnt.
Before we could complete our meals a different hostess came to our table wit a busboy and security stating our table is sold start clearing tables. We didn't take that well. And she actually came to the wrong table. After all the trouble for the beginning until that moment we were over it. I will NOT be returning to Barcode
Great atmosphere! We went there for the 90's R&B Night. Excellent staff and tasty food!
No one to greet us when we arrived. Service was very slow. They brought out one meal about 7 minutes before the others- made it awkward for that person to eat while none of the rest had food.
The music we could hear a block way. It was way to loud and when we walked it were hit by a face full of smoke. We had Reservation for 8:00 pm. We were seated at 8:03pm. Party of two seated about a minute after us and a Party of six seated 2-3 after that. The group of 6 was friend of an employee or manager. That employee asked the waiter to take the groups order, also come back and check on his friends and even delivered drinks. Party of two had to go to bar to get a drink. At 8:42 waitress finally came to our table greats us and offered us water. The whole time security stood behind my wife and talked to two other employees. We waited 39 minutes to be greeted and when I brought the issues to the waitress she seemed to not care and walked away from me while I was talking. My wife and I got up and walked to the host stand, I brought the issues to the hostess’s (3) that were standing around talking with each other and their answer was “we only have 3 wait staff”.
Came here for Valentine’s Day, great 5-course menu selection with a nice table set up. Highly recommend.
I had a great time! It was really crowded but when its a 90s R&B night it's to be expected! I'm so glad I got a table because there was nowhere to sit if you didn't reserve. I ordered the bang bang shrimp for $14 and a glass of sparkling rosé $7 pretty good if you're gonna eat light! The night was so crowded that our waitress was sweet enough to give us a free glass of wine for the wait. The music was awesome and the vibes were great! I would definitely go back! Oh and my best friend's chicken wings were bomb!! They had a nice char to it! Barcode is a new spot for me!
We had reservations for a table and instead they put us in the bar area where we didn't have a waiter. We had to go to the bar to order every time we wanted something. They didn't give us barstools, so we had to stand or hunt for our own seats and never did find enough for everyone. The pizza was decent, but do not order the tacos. They were awful. Basically threw fish sticks on a tortilla and called it a taco. Some of the other food was just okay. Go somewhere else if you want to eat.
Good pizza especially at happy hour prices
But waaaay too loud to try to have a conversation
We celebrated a friends birthday. We ordered appetizers
The ambience was great and the music was good.
Love the concept.
Tasty grilled wings and good buffalo chicken pizza. Service took a minute to notice us, but after that we were well attended to. Live DJ on Saturday night playing very good RNB classics and even a Slow Jam set which is a lost art nowadays which we both truly enjoyed! Dj encouraged everyone to sing along. We had a fun date night. Don't go for conversation because the music will be loud since it is a dinner "party", but we expected that. Thumbs up👍👍
Service was slow. Took an hour to get food. Had to order 2 drinks at a time just to get them timely.
I've been coming to Barcode for lunch since it first opened. I've always loved it until my visit this week. All of the regular servers who are so friendly and helpful were gone. My server seemed disinterested; didn't check on refilling our water. I had to ask if there were any specials for the day. Then I had to send my food back TWICE because it was not prepared as I had ordered it. The server said the kitchen didn't pay attention to the requests on the order. Anyway, it was not a good experience. I don't know if the restaurant is under new management or something else is going on, but this place will no longer be a neighborhood favorite for me.
Wendy for lunch while we were visiting National Geographic Museum. Food was okay. Restaurant looks run down or not so clean in daytime hours. Clearly it is more of an evening place.
Sadly Barcode did not pan out as we had hoped. Drinks were watered down- the cocktail list looks good, but most drinks were presented in too large of a glass, which meant the ratio of soda to booze was off. The carmalized Brussels sprouts were good, but for a “to share” plate were on the small size. Entrees came straight from the food service industry menu and were bland and not worth repeating. I would not go bavk
Great for a business lunch. Google maps took me to the wrong entrance, other than that it was great!
