   I was excited to try the lamb. Waiter came back and said they were out. Quite disappointing. I had the chicken kebab. Delicious. The mezza platter was great. So overall we were happy with our meal.

   Our server was great, and the ambience was as well. The food was fine, but not particularly memorable with the exception of the dumplings, which were fantastic. Gyros meat was very dry and the fattoush salad was ok but could have been more flavorful. I appreciate good baklava, but this preparation was accompanied by a sauce that detracted rather than enhanced the dish. Maybe we were there in an off day.

   The appetizers were all very tasty but the portions of a couple were small compared to other similar SF restaurants. We shared the lamb kebabs (very good), ham croquettes (nice consistency), brussel sprouts/cauliflower (excellent!), beet salad (good but small portion and could have used more arugula) and spicy dumplings (spice kicks in after a few bites - have water ready - but excellent). Wines by the glass list was a moderate number. We had the rose which was good but more expensive than the food items. Service was excellent. We were delayed because of BART/weather and had a performance to get to. The server was excellent and expedited our order. We were seated inside in the back area of the restaurant. It was really loud, mostly due to a large table of other diners, so it was really hard to talk. If the weather is good I'd recommend eating outside. Overall very good food, beautifully presented and excellent service. The value was pretty fair for the food but not the best value for wines by the glass.

   Came for lunch with a coworker. Sat at a nice high top table inside. Hostess was accommodating to change reservation from outside to inside. I ordered the lamb shawarma sandwich and lentil soup. Tasted ok at the time. But had an upset stomach an hour after eating. And sick that evening and the next day. Did not eat anything else that day. Coworker was ok. She ordered a salad.

   Really good food and service. The pitcher of the sangria, was good, but it’s a carafe. I would 100% eat there again.

   Love the atypical menu items. The saffron rice was very fragrant and succotash was just the right crunch. The octopus with white beans had a flavorful and rich base which was a perfect blend of the flavors. The octopus was cooked to perfection.

    Great food options that are not the usual Mediterranean food eateries. Dishes are nicely presented and flavorful. Ambiance is relaxed and the interior design adds to it.

    Didier was excellent, he made impeccable recommendations and provided personalized service. We ate outside on a cool eve (there are heaters) and he offered us blankets. :) All our dishes were flavorful and memorable, the spreads, the Brussels sprouts, the duck leg and the Flowers Pinot. 5 stars, we’ll be back again and again!

    Not great. They brought half raw chicken. When we asked them to fix it, instead of making it from scratch they cook the same chicken more and added bunch of ridiculous sauce on top. Time difference between appetizers and entrees are about an hour. Server had a great attitude. And they did try to fix the problem. Other than raw chicken and raw lamb (second in late which came completely red inside) other dishes were very good. Would I go back? I don’t think so.

    Barcha was outstanding overall. The restaurant is beautiful, cozy and romantic located in the financial district. The service was good but the food was amazing! The steak was cooked to perfection with beautiful flavors. The chicken skewer was tender, juicy and flavorful that mixed well with the rice. We will definitely be back.

    Bonne cuisine relevée et savoureuse. Le serveur était très sympa et avenant. Le seul petit problème c’est que le plat conseillé par une serveuse n’était plus disponible. Ils m’ont remplacé ce plat par le plus cher. Quel ne fut pas ma surprise au moment de payer. J’aurai du regarder la carte à nouveau. Néanmoins restaurent je je conseille vivement. Vincent

    This would have been a 5 star visit, but we arrived at 5:15 and no one was in the place, yet the host walks us past a slew of open tables near the front and middle of the restaurant (some 30 tables) and seated us at a table at the very back of the restaurant at a small 2 top. The ambiance at the front of the restaurant was much more inviting. Since it was our first visit, we ordered 5 interesting starters to get a representative sample the food, all of which were great. Unfortunately the table was crowded with plates because it was a 2 top. We enjoyed our food and left for our engagement and walked past all the still open tables near the front where we saw people enjoying their dishes as well. Clearly the food is great, but why seat us all the way at the back, which felt alienating? That’s not a good first impression.

    Best octopus appetizer. Lamb and Taj dig with duck were both amazing! Service wonderful. Great ambience. Sat outside and heat lamps were perfect. Not too hot. Just great.

    Went for more of a social gathering than a meal. Octopus, lamb skewers, hummus, peppers and few other apps. All delicious. Wine selection is decent. Service was fantastic. There are holiday decorations up in front if interested in an IG photo.

    Wonderful Mediterranean food. The peppers, octopus and tadhik were outstanding. The ambience was Christmassy, lively; the service was attentive without being intrusive. A great evening.
