Outstanding.

The food was good but not great. The AYCE was not a good value. You may only order 3 items, which would be ok with a normal tapas restaurant; however, an order of albondigas(plural) was a single 1” meatball, and a cheese ravioli was 1 ravioli, and a stuffed mushroom was 1 small mushroom...you get the idea. Ordering limit of 3 items literally means three individual items. It is an extremely inefficient way of serving food. My husband ordered 3 raviolis, for example, and it came on 3 plates with 1 ravioli per plate....before he could order anything else. We had 3 AYCE, 4 sangrias (which were ok) and 2 sodas = $140 with tip.

It was for my wife’s birthday, adult celebration, was hoping they would set up something special as I asked to be some where kinda private. But for the most part it turned out well.

Wonderful tapas, cocktails, and just a cool fun place! We’ll definitely go back!

Nice neighborhood spot. Great tapas on happy hour. Pitchers of sangria on happy hour are tasty! Friendly wait staff who are attentive and make you feel welcomed. Wonderful neighborhood vibe.

All food (and coffee) was served luke-warm to cold. Good tasting and correct quantities, but in-even.

The food and service was very good. We were not rushed and our server was really helpful with food suggestions and things to try! I would go back in a heartbeat!

I love this restaurant, but the restaurant was closed even though open table let us make a reservation. In the future, Open Table should better coordinate.

Great surprise - wanted tapas and chose it based on reviews and found it in nice small hotel with very unique design inside and great food. Valet parking was easy and cheap and the owner was very helpful and friendly.

We had a great girls night. Live music added to the fun and ambiance was great!

Great place to meet w/ friends & family over delicious Spanish cuisine & pitchers of refreshing sangria! The guitar music on Friday makes ambience more lively & more authentically Spanish!
Service was great, servers were cheerful and attentive( special mention- Lorena was nice & attentive at dinner time and so with Luis during brunch hours).
Food was good & lot of choices! Very good paella & small plates had lot of variety from cold to hot choices!
Will surely be back & bring more visiting friends!

Great night with great company

Food and service were great. We will be returning. The tapas's were excellent and the food was very fresh. Our server was very knowledgeable about the ingredients that went into every TAPA.

We brought our family here for our daughter's birthday. We have here before and had good experiences. We opted fot their all you can eat special, $25.99 per person. The food is always very good, the service very friendly. However, the service was very slow. They bring you three single tapas at a time per person. It took at least 30 minutes+ between servings and our orders were unorganized. Three tapas per person at the same time didn't happen.
We spoke with the waitress, who was aplogetic and said they needed more help. She sent the owner over, he comped my husband's meal, which was a nice gesture. However, it wasn't the ideal birthday dinner. Everyone left feeling dissapointed.
We'll wait until the staffing situation is better before returning. Sad because it is a great little restaurant and we don't have many in Southern Highlands.

Let's talk bout the canceled visit on offer up last month, we called to make sure it still lunch menu and we're told until 3 pm. We arrived with open table prior to 2 pm. Server just pointed at the corner for us to sit. He handed us only dinner menu. We did tell him we would like the lunch tapas and he said no we are at dinner. We also Drais we just called within the hour and was said lunch is offer until 3. He said no and walked away like we are idiots. So we ate elsewhere.

Last night 4 tables sitted why would the staff seat us next to a door on a windy night. We noticed the server and girl see us unsure. Finally server came and was like so you want a new taBle. So rude. Then we usually go and we order tapas they ussually order two of everything so the app able can try items. We literally had to order a item for each of us. Also in the past the server would continuous have a flow of service to keep items out . This server barely came to us and the food runner would talk fast and drop food and run off.

Food quality seem less than normal, sauces was warm causing food to be warm. Only hot steaming dish was the mac n cheese.
Dessert was awful the tres leche was chic cake with milk on it. Bread pudding was microwave so long it was rubbery and touch. And no flavor at all.

I think we will be searching for new tapas location. Service they just don't care to be polite or appreciate patronage

We made our reservation, then found a Groupon... after driving out to the Southern Highlands location, we were informed that location did not honor Groupons, only the Artisan Hotel location did. So we had to drive all the way back to the city. Because this put us past our reservation window, I was unable to re-book for the correct location. Once we were at the Shahara Ave location, we enjoyed an EXCELLENT meal.

Great tapas!!! Stuffed dates are a must!! They have an all you can eat tapas menu which is very reasonable and discounted on Mondays!

Love, love Barcelona's! I visit this as favorite restaurant every year in Puerto Vallarta. Food is always spectacular. Last visit on 12/12/2015 had service less than normal perfect -- but will not hold this against them as they were very busy this evening. But, all food was perfect: mixed salad; mushrooms with chicken; pasta with veggies; sizzling shrimp; grilled pork tenderloin with white bean - all lovely! If you like more traditional Spanish tapas - tortilla and octopus are excellent! Food here is amazing!

Loved this place. The service was fast, food was awesome, great price. We went with the all you can eat tapas menu. We liked almost everything we tried. Loved the salami app and the potato crocettes, my hubby really liked the stuffed dates and we both loved the pork tacos. There very small plates but you can order repeat items so no problem. This way you can try all the items on the menu and you don't feel like you've eaten sooo much, like other all you can eat buffets. The only thing we weren't big fans of was there mac & cheese and we loveeee Mac & cheese. A little to sticky, gummy, dry and very, very bland. It needs some moisture, not creamy enough and some salt. Which is strange since it has bacon in it. I would rethink that one guys and there meatballs were really tough, there working the meat to much. Those were the only things on the menu we tried that I can say something negative about. All in all this is one of my new favorite spots. It didn't hurt that it's in southern highlands so not far from me. Cactus and southern highlands. As Arnold would say, Ill be back !

The food and sangria were outstanding! Perfect for celebrating the end of Tax Season. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back. Our gracious thanks to our host.

The whole experience at Barcelona was very good, plenty of choices of tapas, all of a high quality. Service was attentive and relaxed. Good value for money, will be back again.
