Barcelona Restaurant & Bar Ratings and Reviews
This was my first visit to Barcelona. Our office went to celebrate a couple of birthdays. Although the patio looked very nice, it was too chilly to eat outside. The food was good and affordable. The atmosphere was quiet and inviting. I'm sure we will end up there again.
After much research to celebrate our three year anniversary, I decided to bring my lived one to this unique restaurant in the heart of German village with an incredible Spaniard theme menu. From the friendly valet parking, beautiful decor, great service, amazing food variety and taste, Barcelona provides an amazing experience that translates to great memories. Thank you for making our night a very special one.
Wow, wow, wow. If you haven't been here, book it now! The tapas is great but the real star is the paella. We shared the Barcelona Paella, between two of us. That, partnered with some tapas and bread was enough for the two of us. The service was great and the atmosphere is romantic. 10/10!
Return visit after more than a year - it's still the same great atmosphere at Barcelona, same great service too. I The menu is diverse so we wandered away from usual choices into unknown territory. think we just happened to order menu items that weren't quite what we hoped - our ignorance, not their fault. We shd have asked more questions before we ordered. I think we'll return to seafood favorites next time. Valet parking excellent as always.
This is the best kept secret in Columbus. Everyone at Barcelona, - from the owner Scott, to the best waiter in the world, Mike Taylor, to fantastic Chef Jacob - made the entire evening one to remember. I can't recommend this place high enough. It is the best place to go after a long week. Treat yourself and give it a try. We have been long-time patrons for over 13+ years of this place. Truly the best restaurant in Columbus by far.
Hands-down. Thank you Barcelona.
While I've heard many wonderful things about Barcelona, it wasn't until this past Friday that we experienced it first-hand! The food and cocktails were tremendous, as was our server, Drew. Everything from start to finish is just what you want from a restaurant like Barcelona! We will definitely return.
The hostess sat us and expected a waiter to pick up our table, which no one did. So after seeing people that sat down after us meet their server I stopped the first person I could find to get us service. Having worked in a restaurant as a hostess, I know she should have gone up to a server asking them to pick us up, which she didn't so we sat there and waited for 10 minutes. The waitress we did get was the one we had last time we were there which we loved and remembered us and our orders from last time and that I was a vegetarian. But the food was not the best I've had there. I ordered the vegetable paella because I loved it so much the last time I got it. But when it came this time it was lacking and looked like mine was plain rice, instead of rice and vegetable. Overall it was good, but I've had better experiences there and it was a disappointment.
Everything was perfect. This was me and my partner's Valentine's dinner and it was amazing. Everything from when we were greeted by the lovely host to when we walked out the door and the very pleasant valet got our car was amazing. They had preset a lovely bottle of champagne for us and the server Dylan was appropriately attentive, incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Seeing as though this was our first time he graciously and patiently guided us through the menu and made wonderful selections and recommendations. The manager was kind enough to visit our table and was extremely friendly and warm. Random side note, the men's rest room was so clean and smelled really nice! A nice change from most restaurants which lack to pay attention to this detail I was really impressed!!! Kudos to both the front of house and back of house staffs for making tonight extremely special! It is incredibly appreciated and we both look forward to adding Barcelona to our list of regular spots to visit!!!!
This was my first time at Barcelona. The atmosphere was casual, but refined. The service was attentive, but not obtrusive, and the food was wonderful. I'd go again.
I don't have any idea how to select from the expansive list in the previous section, so I abstained.
Service was excellent, but food was just OK. Restaurant was very busy, and some of our entrees (salmon and paella in particular) were overcooked. We didn't send anything back, as we were a party of 10 and had plans after dinner. Selection of wines was impressive, and not overpriced. Try one of the Ontanon Spanish reds - we were very pleased. Appetizers were excellent, and I highly recommend their flatbreads!
