The restaurant offers good food at generally good prices. Although they say it's small plates, we had an appetizer and two more plates and we were fine. With the understanding that the food is supposed to be shared, it was still a little off-putting that the food listed under appetizers came at the same time than one of the plates under main dishes, and then the third one many minutes later. Not a deal breaker, though. Excellent service and good wine.

Food was very good and reasonable price. Menu was limited. Old Fashion was weak for price. Server was excellent. Weird we were seated upstairs and had to go outside to get to next level. Nice space though.

Awesome restaurant with the best combination of flavors on a plate you would never thought of to put together, but it’s perfect! Got the short rib off the brunch menu and would definitely get it again! Also got the funghi pizza as an appetizer and it was perfect!

Food was good. Service was a little slow. We would have preferred to be asked our seating preference (I walked up a long flight of stairs 6+ months pregnant). I would have gladly sat outside. Food was very tasty. Whipped dips, whipped ricotta. Gnocchi very good but a little salty. Bronzino very good.

Server had weird energy like he wanted to go home which I get it’s just like hide it better. Cocktails overpriced but food was decent and fair for price. Not wildly crazy about this place it was solid but I wouldn’t necessarily choose to go back

The food and service was great! We were outside but in a heated cabana type thing so great privacy and kept noise to a minimum.

Great meal but not the perfection I remember. Burrata and foccacia still brilliant and the salted Carmel budino impossible to not like, literally impossible. But the pizza and gnocchi were not as great. Pizza was bland and gnocchi was salty and oily. Only 4 beers and all super Hoppy. Still a good meal but not the world class joint I remember from 5 years ago.

One of the best restaurants I have had for a long time. Wonderful gnocchi, surprisingly high quality. Price is very reasonable. Great value!

Enjoyed a nice Sunday evening meal and drinks with my wife while visiting Philly. Dined upstairs which had nice ambience, outside view, nice music. Service was great and food and drinks were great.

We were seated inside on a beautiful day, which is always a bummer. But outdoor seating is super limited everywhere these days. Wishing there was a rooftop dining option here because the food was amazing! The second floor was nice enough and the tables were spread out for social distancing. The food was delicious. I had the shaved Brussels salad as appetizer, which was light and crunchy and perfect. Then I got the steak and eggs, which was cooked perfectly, it came with crispy potatoes and broccoli, both were delicious. I would love to come back here for dinner and hopefully plan far enough in advance that we get to sit outside on another beautiful spring day in Philly!

Excellent meal. Great service. Menu is a great combination of classics coupled with creative additions. The pasta in a Sardo was outstanding.

Everything was good but the pizza was a little dry( mushroom pizza). The red wine was terrible with sediment in both choices we had but was expensive

This is a "small plates" restaurant but thankfully the portions aren't too small!

A friend and I went for Sunday lunch. The food was excellent! The service was a little slow at times but it was a beautiful day and we were in no hurry.

Need to put Bloody Mary's back on the menu!! But the Sangria was a nice compliment to my fungi pizza.

We’ve been to Barbuzzo twice in the last month, and both times we were rushed. We had a 9:30 reservation and arrived on time. All of our food came at once (appetizers and entrees), and the entrees were not as hot as they should be by the time we got to them. We were asked if we wanted dessert before completing our meal and the check arrived while we were still eating. In addition, workers began moving all the outdoor tables and chairs banging them around while we were still eating.

I always walked past this place, but never went in. So glad I did! The food was good, and almost everything on the menu I would eat. The portions are a little smaller so I would suggest either get an app, or if you’re hungry, just double check the portion size before ordering.

We had lunch outside on a Sunday. The food was good, the service was awful. We liked our private booth. However, we had to ask our waiter twice for water, but at least he brought the wine quickly (so only a minor complaint). The problem was the food delivery. They brought our main meal first and did not bring the appetizer at all. When we told the food runner we did not get our appetizer yet, she didn't even apologize. We said we would prefer to have the appetizer we ordered first but did not want our main meal sitting under heating lights for 30 minutes. She said they would make it fresh and stomped out. She later returned with our appetizer slammed it down on the table and walked out with out saying a word. Same thing when our main meal came back out. Overall the service was slow and the food runner was rude. We have been to Barbuzzo many times and this was our first bad experience and expect better from an icon of the Philly restaurant scene. I don't know that we will go back.

Loved our meal! We sat outside at one of the heated tables and we felt safe the whole time. Our server was wonderful and the food was delicious, as always.

The appetizers were amazing, the drinks were pretty good but the entrees weren’t anything special. We got the Spanish octopus dish and there was barely any octopus on the plate and it was over shadowed by a lot of bitter and acidic foods paired with it and we got the meatballs and they were really salty. Otherwise the atmosphere is very chic and upscale.

Adorable place for a cozy get together with my daughter. The menu was diverse and had vegan options for her. I had the margarita pizza- SO GOOD- fresh basil and mozzarella. Will definitely go again!

I be always loved coming to barbuzzo. I had a last minute celebration of a friends birthday and nothing says I love you like well seasoned food. The ambiance, the service everything is always great. I will never stop recommending this place!
