The food quality is great with a low wait time. Though dining is outdoors, the noise level was tolerable and the vibes immaculate. Service was lovely as well :)
the service was outstanding. attentive, professional yet personable!
Good hearty food — Sangria was fabulous
Limited lunch menu but everything was delicious and service very pleasant.
The autumn squash dish was absolutely delicious, was a surprise flavor in every bite. And the uovo pizza was out of this world!
An excellent date night spot! We loved our experience!
Amazing taste and value. An appetizer and two plates were perfect for two adults to share and get a nice variety at a great price!
I always enjoy Barbuzzo - especially that budino *drool*
Our waiter was so sweet and funny and I really appreciate them accommodating us and our friends at such short notice. Thank you!
Wonderful lunch in the expanded outdoor seating area! Highlights included the ricotta , fritaas, butternut squash arancini and fungi pizza BUT do not miss Tom’s Foccacia - outstanding with eggplant & burrata!!
We love barbuzzo and will continue to go here post pandemic but if you are cautious during Covid this is not the place to be. The restaurant itself does a good job of spacing tables but the city of Philadelphia should be ashamed of themselves. 13th street is super crowded. It’s basically an outdoor bar. No one is wearing masks. If 13th street can look like that the Philadelphia public schools should be open. I’m far from a covid crazy person but it was a little much even for me.
We went as a group to celebrate an engagement during COVID. It was great weather to have an outdoor table! Our server was knowledgeable, friendly and checked in our needs at the right timing! We enjoyed sharing appetizers and the drinks and experience
Fun atmosphere with awesome pizzas!!
Wonderful food and service! Even in the middle of a pandemic, they managed to give outstanding service. We sat outside under heat lamps and the whole experience of eating on the street, with the hubbub oh people walking by, made our time their feel festive!
Our waitress was great and very cautious given the social distancing guidelines. I appreciated her authenticity and still felt we were catered to despite the precautions.
Great meal and setting given the difficult scenario with COVID restrictions.
It was amazing! Service was efficient and we definitely felt comfortable with the indoor dining situation.
An overall great experience and meal! Planning the next trip back already. PS. Get the Papa's Fritas!
Food was very nice
Sat outside so side street. Tables spread out with umbrellas. Great food. Great service.
Excellent - safe distancing - delicious food
Awesome night out with my girls, great service
Food was absolutely delicious and server was very attentive and very nice.
This is my go to - super delicious as usual and sat inside - no more sitting in the gutter with sewer water at your ankles - ready to get back to sitting at the bar!!
All around phenomenal experience
We sat inside, and loved the ambiance of being in the restaurant! Felt very comfortable from a COVID perspective with spread out tables. Excellent food, great value for cost, we will absolutely be back!
I was really excited to dine at Barbuzzo with my friends. We got seated outside - it rained unexpectedly, and the waiter never offered to move us under an umbrella or anything.. we just took matters into our own hands. We ordered the pouch drinks and there were no ice cubes in them (?) and weren't filled nearly enough to the top, but they still tasted great. Food came out in random order, not all together or even close together - kind of annoying but overall, really nice place!
Went during restaurant week in philly. The Barbuzzo meatballs are to die for, best item on the menu. Was very busy but was able to get a seat due to having a reservation. Make sure you a reservation.
Delicious food, fun menu, fair prices. Loved the arancini balls, crispy branzino, and salted caramel dessert!
The food is awesome! Socially distanced from other dinners. Erica was super friendly and great!
Outdoor dining went fairly smoothly for the final day of restaurant week. We had to wait a little extra to get our reserved table due to the previous customers lingering in their seats - no fault of the restaurant. The first course came out quickly (with mouthwatering arancini!!) but there was a long wait for our branzino. The branzino was tasty with fresh, seasonal ingredients but next time I'm just going to go back for their thin crust pizza and skip the three-course dinner. Their pizza is the best I've found downtown!
This is a really nice place! The ricotta cheese is the best and I also like the butino.
Always a great dining experience.
My first time and decided to try it our during Restaurant week. We were seated immediately outside. Service was prompt and efficient. The food choice were interesting. My guest and I were excited to try something new. We were not disappointed from start to finish.
It was wonderful. Amazing food and service.
Wonderful all around!!
The food was OK but nothing to write home about. The edges of the pasta was dried-up and crunchy. It is as if it sat too long under a hot lamp. The bread which accompanied the ricotta appetizer was burned not toasted and the tiramisu was tasteless and uninspiring. The service was too fast and we did not get to enjoy a relatively leisurely dinner. We were in and out in about 45 minutes. Definitely uninspiring place.
Always great service and a favorite in Philly
Very nice set up for outdoor dining. Appreciated the social distancing between tables. Servers were helpful and professional while practicing protocols to keep themselves and the consumers safe. Food and drinks were terrific. Will definitely be back.
