    Waiter was extremely rude when someone at our table had an allegedly and refused to bring them a new dish when an allegen was present in their original meal.

    Wonderful dinner at Barbounia. They make the best hummus in NYC. Excellent service and lovely ambience. I look forward to returning.

    The food is good - not exceptional, but good. The spicy feta was great, pita chicken was average. We also ordered the crab hollandaise was good - not great. The service staff was kind but the host was quite rude in his demeanor and unnecessarily aggressive. In fact, his service in itself was a major put-off in the whole experience. I did not appreciate that. This affected my overall opinion of the place.

    Had a great meal and it was my first time at the restaurant. We started with the incredible bread that is served to all tables and a phenomenal Fire-Roasted eggplant appetizer. It was delicious! For the main meal, I went with the Taboon Roasted Lebanease Chicken, which was perfectly cooked, tender and placed over a mix of grains and tahini. I will def go back! The waitstaff was super attentive, but not annoyingly so.

    These is a great place to celebrate a special event, with amazing food. The appetizers are simply amazing and the main courses do not fall from them. One of my favorite places for a special night out

    All the staff was very nice and attentive. They were very quick to clear the plates when you are done eating. Did not feel rushed, just seemed a little odd. The food was great. Would definitely go back.
