Delicious food in a beautiful setting!

The service is just so so as I sat there for a while but no one approached to set the table and served even water... the food was just OK nothing special. And the grilled octopus was not fresh and it’s not tasted good.

Outdoor seating is very comfortable and pleasant, but lunchtime street and traffic noise, which wasn’t Barbounia’s fault, was very annoying! Food was really good.

We celebrated a birthday here for a perfect evening. Gorgeous design, wonderful ambiance, such a welcoming staff, terrific food, it's the real deal. The medley of spreads is not to be missed - the perfect way to start the evening. The duck was divine, so was the forbidden rice it was serve over, as were the delectable short ribs. The only flaw was that I wasn't able to use my Open Table Rewards points - but that wasn't their fault, there was an issue with Open Table. I hope to rectify that soon, I worked hard to earn those 1,000 points!!

I realize that I did not receive my $10 credit, which should have been applied to my bill...

What an extremely disappointing experience. Barbounia used to be one of my favorite spots, but the lack of covid protocols and the extremely rude hostess will keep us away for the foreseeable future. At this time, there should be 35% capacity. The restaurant packed patrons in like sardines, at least 50-60% full. My client and I racked up a $200 bill and we were asked to leave before the two tables next to us (one table, a pair of businessmen, the other table a couple on a date). The two tables arrived before we did and we were abruptly handed our bill and the incredibly rude hostess came and asked us to leave. I'm wondering if it's because we were two women, and if that's the case, I've lost complete respect for this establishment. I've never been asked to leave before, covid or not. When I questioned it in a calm manner, the hostess (with her mask below her nose) made a scene in front of other patrons which in my opinion was extremely unprofessional. She could not give me a straight answer as to why she asked us to leave, but not the two other tables. Completely sexist in my opinion. They have lost a long time customer in me. Will never return.

Great atmosphere. Felt completely comfortable even with a table in the middle of the open floor. Table was waited on perfectly. Food is a little pricey but very good, and a good variety. Would definitely come back and look forward to doing so.

Reservation was for 7pm not seated until 7:25pm. The hostess were overwhelmed. Food was great and the waiter was good!

Barbounia is great! The food/cocktails, service and ambience are all really great. The selection of 5 mezze are all outstanding!

Valentine’s “deal” was very overpriced, and food quality mediocre

Food was unreal! Was definitely pricey tho. .... save for special occasion

We were sat down and waited 30 minutes and only ever recieved some water. No courtesy either with saying "hello" or "my name is *blank* and I'll be your server today." Just a "what do you want." We didn't even get a menu and our waitress asked if we were ready to order food.
