Great atmosphere. Felt completely comfortable even with a table in the middle of the open floor. Table was waited on perfectly. Food is a little pricey but very good, and a good variety. Would definitely come back and look forward to doing so.

Reservation was for 7pm not seated until 7:25pm. The hostess were overwhelmed. Food was great and the waiter was good!

Barbounia is great! The food/cocktails, service and ambience are all really great. The selection of 5 mezze are all outstanding!

We were sat down and waited 30 minutes and only ever recieved some water. No courtesy either with saying "hello" or "my name is *blank* and I'll be your server today." Just a "what do you want." We didn't even get a menu and our waitress asked if we were ready to order food.

Fantastic, we managed to get a table for 2 inside dining the day after restrictions were lifted. The place was fully decorated for valentines day, the staff was very nice welcoming and each dish was delicious. The waiters even came over and sang for my friend's birthday when our dessert came out. I felt safe and all the staff was covered with masks at all times. Great experience after not eating out for so long. Well done.

IDue to the covid the tables are only outdoors which was good, excellent service, the food was super delicious but I requested a surprise dessert by phone the same day and they forgot.

They overbooked and the host was rude. We had to line up and he didn’t care when your reservation was & went by the order people were online. I understand mistakes happen and restaurants can get overbooked, but don’t ignore people and be rude about it. After 45 minutes of waiting we just left. I mean what’s the point of a reservation???

I would not recommend going there. There was one server for all the tables. We ordered bottomless brunch and we were told after 3 mimosas that that’s all we could get. The service alone was awful and unorganized. The food was delish though.

Despite being the only table seated outside on a cold January weekday, our servers were very very attentive and polite. Our food was also very good! Had it been a warmer day we would have been happy to stay longer and enjoy some wine

The food is so good here. Even in the dead of winter outside they provide impeccable service, food and drinks! We love it.

I had a wonderful experience. Everyone was very friendly; starting from the hostess to our waiter. The food was delicious and the drinks were great. We ended up ordering the dessert special (donuts) and it was perfect. I can’t wait to go back!

We were able to sit indoors for a late afternoon meal. The five dips were phenomenal, and I couldn't decide which among them were my favorites. We also had the flash fried cauliflower, which was fabulous.

Waiter and manager were extremely disrespectful and had the audacity to try and cut me and my business partner off from drinks. I have been going here for the last few years as I live two blocks away and will absolutely not be returning. this was extremely rude and out of place and I would like to fully be refunded for my meal.

Exquisite duck (duck itself; surroundings less so). Good branzino. Delicious platter dips. Fair service, nice interior. Standard seating was not reservable (limited to outdoor) until day of.

This is my favorite restaurant in all of NYC. However, when arriving Sunday for brunch, the menu was completely different than what is online along with the prices, which have been inflated. I am disappointed by the lack of real time updates the restaurant has taken.
