   Had a great meal and it was my first time at the restaurant. We started with the incredible bread that is served to all tables and a phenomenal Fire-Roasted eggplant appetizer. It was delicious! For the main meal, I went with the Taboon Roasted Lebanease Chicken, which was perfectly cooked, tender and placed over a mix of grains and tahini. I will def go back! The waitstaff was super attentive, but not annoyingly so.

   These is a great place to celebrate a special event, with amazing food. The appetizers are simply amazing and the main courses do not fall from them. One of my favorite places for a special night out

   All the staff was very nice and attentive. They were very quick to clear the plates when you are done eating. Did not feel rushed, just seemed a little odd. The food was great. Would definitely go back.

   super loud, tables packed too close for this price point ($450 for 3 people), rushed service (apps came before the wine), and the food was not any better than what you'd get at any cheaper "mediterranean" restaurant. gratuity was added to the bill, not included in the service--so tacky.

   The mezze platter wasn’t worth it and taste wasn’t really authentic. The Lebanese chicken was very good and the freekah was delicious. The salmon was over done, but the veggies were spot on.

    Very lively place with a good menu good service. Food was excellent, attractive crowd. A little overpriced but you expect that in New York. $12 for a small bowl of couscous was a bit much. A fun experience I’d go back

    Very pretty space but way too many tables crammed in, we were elbow to elbow with the diners next to us & my chair was against another customer. The temperature went from being uncomfortable hot to actually chilly. The kitchen is open so the heat vents into the dining room & they don’t seem aware enough of a busy room that’s generating heat on its own to keep the temperature comfortable. Between that & how unbelievably loud it was we wouldn’t go back.

    Thursday night dinner with friends at high energy club noise level Barbounia. Service and food is good and nice ambience. However not good for conversation as we cannot hear each other. My suggestion is keep up the high vibes but maybe lower the decimal a notch

    We had a reservation for 7pm for 2 people. We arrived on time. We were told that we could either sit at a table smushed in the literal corner of the restaurant that was so small and tight that my friend and I would literally have had to sit on top of each other, or in the alternative they offered us a high top literally at the front door/ entrance of the restaurant where literal gusts of wind would blow in every time the door opened or closed,and people would walk in and out of the restaurant standing on top of us. Both options were unacceptable and extremely uncomfortable. We made the reservation to celebrate a holiday and were unable to do so due to the unreasonable accommodations, so we left. We were kind to the host/hostess, but the restaurant employees were not and we’re unwilling to find a way to make things work.

    Sunday brunch with excellent Mezze. Had hoped for a more extensive small plates list for the carnivore, BUT we Chose a few vegan options that I thought were delicious: eggplant & artichoke. Smoked fish mezze was salty. Would go back!

    The staff was very attentive. It was very busy, but our entrees arrived quickly and were delicious. I had the rack of lamb and it was truly the best I’ve ever had — perfectly cooked and cut like butter. My husband had the Lebanese chicken and enjoyed it as well. The beignets were also excellent.     Very noisy. All tables are very close to each other. This place is not a restaurant, but a diner. it is not possible to spend an evening or a business meeting there. nothing out of the ordinary in food. The aisles are very narrow. Put on or take off a coat or jacket, there is no possibility.
