Rarely to you have a meal where each dish is amazing. The chef uses local ingredients like lavender and pistachios to take items like avocados, ravioli and beef to a new level. Service matches the meal.

Really great food but server sat us in a corner table with unrelenting glare from the Sun and therefore super hot and uncomfortable. There were other open tables so not sure why they couldn’t move us.

This was probably one of the best natural (farm to table) dinners I had in a very long time. It was insanely delicious and Karlie and practically the whole staff tended to our needs to whole night. I was amazed by the service, history, and stories shared that night. We enjoyed everything about this place and will definitely come back again.

Avocado, TriTip and burger were fantastic. Great flavors, extremely tender meat, unusual and a really nice experience.
Everything we ordered was delicious, had the avocado appetizer, brussels, tri-tip. Tried a bite of the black cod as well. No complaints. Would recommend a reservation. We had one, saw some walk ins get turned away.

This is an amazing, creative foodie experience. Each plate looked like a very deliberate work of art. The waitress needed to explain most of the offerings to us, because there were a lot of inventive terms, but we didn't mind, she was very fun and friendly. It honestly felt like a dining adventure, kind of a journey where we didn't exactly know what to expect. But we were so wonderfully delighted by all the sensations, I can't wait to do it again!

Seemingly, Barbareno never disappoints. Creative dishes with wonderful flavors and spot-on service. We loved the grilled avocado and the barbecued filet mignon tips.

All menu items are stand outs and some items come with a historical back story as a nod to the local area. All the staff are extremely attentive and amazing and the desserts are a must try! Don't miss out on the Santa Maria BBQ, Market Crudo, Oak Smoked Wings and Especial if they are on the seasonal menu. The desserts are nothing like I've ever tried, Sweet Mountain Top is a must try and Baked California's flavors will impress! Love coming to Barbareno!

We had the Oak Acorn Tagliatelle and the Tri-Tip. Wow! Both were delicious and I must say the the tri-tip was the best I’ve ever had. We will be back!
The food is innovative, prepared beautifully, and the service was excellent. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The Baked California dessert was amazing. The waitstaff proactively asked if we had any dietary restrictions (we don't, but how thoughtful)
Fantastic menu, great and knowledgable service, casual but attentive and classy. Waiter (Clay) was VERY knowledgeable about menu items and ingredients. Timed everything perfectly without rushing. This was one of those over the top experiences and worth the price. Great beer and wine selections as well.

Ambience got the Covid + weather mark. Everything was great and you could tell they tried, but being on the covered makeshift patio with the wind the way it was definitely took away from the experience. Food and beverages were excellent and we will be back.

The quality of the beef could of been a lot better. The appetizers were great but the entrees and deserts really lacks.
