Really enjoyed it so I’m scheduling a return trip tomorrow!
Everything was outstanding including the fact that we were seated early! But the noise level was such that it was truly difficult to hear our friends at our table.
Great find in Harlem, French winner bar and restaurant located in a gentrifying neighborhood. The food was very good, the ambience appealing and the wine selection Great. Recommend!
I ordered a Bellini that I had to remind the waitress to bring with my order.
Barawine is located at a perfect spot on Lenox avenue, easy to reach.
Service is excellent, food is well prepared, ambiance is ok, especially the wine bar area is lively and cosy.
really a place to visit once in Harlem.
The restaurant cancelled my reservation a couple of hours before the dinner time without explanation or offer of another time that evening. It was an important dinner, and it made it very difficult to find something else on such short notice. Never happened to me before.
Our server was very personable and friendly and the food was very good. Wine and dessert included. The NY Strip is huge!
Mertinngy with friends
We really enjoyed our first visit to Barawine, the food was great, the servers were friendly and the ambience was unique. However, after our dinner we wanted to try some desert and the waiter brought us the desert menu and did not return to get our order. After waiting for 15 mins, we decided to leave without trying it. This was disappointing as we really wanted to try the desert options.
It used to be better I think. Pricey for how good the food was.
Great as always!
Birthday dinner! It’s our favorite restaurant! Food is excellent, love the new addition of escargot and mushroom ravioli appetizers!
Service is great, so friendly. Great atmosphere, music was playing, everyone in the restaurant was having fun!
Just love Barawine!!
Ran late and The restaurant was kind enough to hold our reservation!
Then they treated us to amazing service, good music and great food!!!!
Everyone was friendly and the place itself was cool!
Barawine is a lovely neighborhood Bistro. The food is fresh and plentiful.. The special brunch sandwich was delicious and enormous. It was actually almost too big to bite into. The best thing about the restaurant is the staff, who were so nice . They comped us a drink because they didn't have one of the liquors on hand, so we had something else, no big hardship. Before we were finished with our meal, they got a bottle of the missing Aperol, and brought us our original order. We left very happy.
Have been here a few times. Always great with good food and ambiance. However this time was a disappointing- the service was mediocre and the noise level horrendous- almost impossible to have a conversation.
The wine list is great
Service is a bit slow but that seems to be the trend uptown
Enjoyed my evening with my wife. I'd have dinner there again, and would also recommend the restaurant to friends.
I enjoyed my meal with old friends. The service was very good. They didn't rush us when we sat for a while. I had the Chicken Caesar salad. It was ok. The chicken was a bit overcooked and so dry but generally it was an enjoyable meal. My friends also had salads and were quite happy with them. Next time I'll try something a bit more interesting. Nice ambience.
Loved the branzino and the friendly vibe— I’ll be back!
This wasn't our most successful visit. The menu didn't indicate that the dish we ordered would have a cream sauce and that wasn't edible for one of us. We had to return the dish and start anew. The replacement wasn't up to the standards of this normally excellent restaurant.
Nice brunch outside!
Bday dinner. Intimate fun good food & service.
Five of us had a lovely dinner. The waitstaff was especially pleasant and everyone liked their dinner and appreciated the pace at which the food was brought to our table.
Enjoyable place and good food. Now also serving organic wines!
We loved our meal here. Excellent friendly service. Very good food. Outdoor seating is lovely. Highly recommend.
It was an opportunity for family and friends to have dinner together.
Super cute brunch spot, but slightly overpriced for the portion size and quality. Plus, my omelette was kind of tasteless. The experience itself was good and our waitress was very attentive.
Love this place!! Great service, great food and great wine.
We wait at the bar for a glass of Moscato that never came, while waiting for a friend. The waitress forgot our order of truffle French fries and it finally arrived when our plates were empty. The Aperol Spritzer was bad. The ambiance of the restaurant is nice. And that’s about it.
Beautiful restaurant and terrific good. Service was a little slow.
the place is charming,The food is OK ,not outstanding and the noise level is unberable
Food great, service great, but much too noisy. Should eliminate music in back dining room.
Second time we headed to Harlem for a dining experience and it was well worth the trip. There is a very nice wine selection and the food was delicious and the portions generous. The onion soup was great on a cool wet night, the salads very fresh. It was a little noisy, but we got used to it. We will definitely go back.
I always have a lovely time at Barawine. The staff is great, and so is the food. Special props to the hostess Sharde (sp?).
Excellent food and wine selection. Really enjoyed seating outside on 120 st. it's nice and quiet there.
The service was terrible. They only had one waitress for the entire restaurant! She had to handle both the inside and outside and therefore was unable to attend to every table. The food was also undercooked and not flavorful. I would only recommend the wine here.
Best food I've had in Harlem. Perfectly cooked, beautifully served, wait staff were attentive and knowledgeable, extensive wine selection. I wish I lived around the corner so I could go to Barawine all the time!
Outstanding and exceptional experience. Always a great choice. Barawine really captures and conveys Harlem both yesterday, today and hopefully will to do so in the future.
Great place, good service and ambience always a good choice!
