This was our second visit to Bar Lucca. We went with two other couples. Our server recommended the Assagio option (tasting menu) and she did not steer us wrong. Our meal was fantastic and we got a really nice sampling of what was available on the menu. My favorite was the pesto pasta. I would go back here every night if I could! The service was perfect and the food awesome. We also love the atmosphere.
Having visited Bar Lucca many times earlier in the year and prior years, I was very sadly surprised by the poor quality of the food. My guests felt the same. Very bland, very dry, very boring and a limited menu. Sad because the staff are great and the bar and wine list is fantastic.
First time at Bar Lucca after hearing great things and getting hungry while looking at their Instagram page! We had a great, relaxing date night and plan to return soon with family!
Upstairs was not as noisy as downstairs, having visited from out of town, I was glad our group was upstairs so we could hear each other. The menu was excellent and everything that we tasted was delicious. I have recommended it several people in the Philadelphia area.
Very noisy in the restaurant but the food was very good and a nice selection.
Food and service were good. Enjoyable spot. Really good sprouts. Carbonara was above average.
Great night with great friends! Amazing food and cheers❤️🍸
The food was delicious and the service was great. I happened to leave my glasses on the table. Luckily, my dinner partner and I stood in the parking lot chatting for a little while. Our waitress came out and returned my glasses. It was a very nice evening.
Met for a group lunch. Service was excellent, food as well. Highly recommend!
Fantastic menu and amazing veggie options - eggplant meatballs, kale Caesar, brussel sprouts were some of the tastiest I’ve ever had!
Wonderful atmosphere and very fast service! Server was extremely helpful and pleasant. Overall experience was great!
One of my favorite places to go in Conshy! Staff is friendly and the food is delicious.
Small plates, pastas, and mains were all delicious; service was both hurried and slow at different times with some basic attentiveness missing; previous visits were not like that, so will chalk this experience up to an aberration
Went for anniversary celebrations, food was good and our waiter was outstanding. Highly recommend for brunch.
Extremely noisy inside on a Wednesday night. Sat outside and felt ignored. Asked for dessert menu and never got one. On the plus side, calamari was good and sides with dinner were very nice - butternut squash and Swiss chard.
Went here for a birthday dinner and couldn't have been happier with our choice! Our server was wonderful, very attentive without being pushy or overbearing and gave honest recommendations when we asked her about entree choices. We will definitely be back!
Great service and great upscale pizza with many other options.
We chose to sit at the bar, and the chairs are super comfy. Tj the bartender recommended the perfect food selections, and choose of drink. The ambiance is perfect. I even had a gift card which I forgot to use, but that is ok. We will be back for sure!
We had a great time at Bar Lucca for restaurant week. We sat outside and our service and food were absolutely excellent!
The bread and oil was great! The cheese board and pizza was good too!
My wife chose Bar Lucca to return to for our anniversary dinner. I loved the food the first time I was there, and found it even better on my return. Wanting a perfect meal for the event, I was again amazed with the taste and authenticity of the dishes. I could find restaurants with a more glamorous ambiance, but this was more like the genuine places I enjoyed in in Italy and the food was.... WOW! We will be back, and I recommend for everyone to put Bar Lucca on your list of places to visit and enjoy.
TJ and Jamie (bartenders) are wonderful. They made our experience and great cocktails. All selections on the pre-fix menu were great and everything we selected was well made and beautifully presented.
We went for my friends birthday, she got the steak that was on the Restaurant Week special menu. She ordered her steak rare and it was over-cooked and it she wasn’t given a steak knife to cut it. She asked for a knife and instead of them offering her a better knife, she was told the best they could do was take it into the kitchen and cut it for her. So they took her food off of the table and brought it into the kitchen, the whole ordeal was insane.
My husband and I went for dinner at the beautiful little place nestled in a neighborhood. Very nice open air dining, with a trendy indoor area. I had the cheese board, which was lovely and had a good selection of cheeses with toast. My husband had the restaurant week menu with meatball appetizer, pasta and dessert. Everything was wonderful, great service. I had a martini because the wine selection was not great. Parking is a bit of an issue.
Wonderful neighborhood spot. Great kale Caesar and zucchini ravs.
This is our favorite restaurant in Philadelphia. We were in town visiting relatives, and recommended that we eat at Bar Lucca. There were nine of us and we ordered the Assaggio, their seasonally inspired tasting menu. Oh boy, was it a treat, from the bruschetta charcuterie board, to the pappardelle and gnocchi, to the scallops and sirloin, everything was perfect! We thought we were too full to eat another bite, but could not resist finishing off the night with the Nutella doughnuts and ice cream.
Food was delicious
Excellent food and service. Pretty cool place with the brick.
Food execution was mediocre. Got the pesto pasta, (can't recall name if dish), too much pine nuts. Dish smelled like oat meal. Tasted like a left over dish.
The wild boar ragu was tasty, but was lacking proper execution-Large chunks of meat.
Gnocchi texture was good, yet for almost $30 a plate, the gnocchi was cut in random pieces. Some pieces were the size of sugar cubes, and as large as 9 volt battery.
If this place concentrated more on execution, it would justify the price point.
What a nice cozy place for casual dining. Food was excellent with anything from full dinner to amazing pizzas. Bar area has character.
Bar Lucca is a wonderful Mediterranean restaurant in Conshohocken with a casual vibe, great food and service!! Perfect for a date or business lunch. I am definitely going back and bringing friends!!
Great spot in Conshy - great ambiance! I love the bar area but the seats are backless which is its only downfall! The bar does offer happy hour specials that are not available at regular dining tables.
Great ambiance and food as usual.
One of our favorite spots! Always great service and food!
Bar Lucca is always great! Their service is just right and the food is delicious!
I would like to try the pizza on a return trip. It seemed like the most popular dish.
We did the tasting menu and everything that came out was absolutely delicious! We had lots of leftovers to take with us as well
It was a very nice atmosphere and great pasta!
Cant wait to go again ! Fun restaurant with great service and delicious menu. Ambiance was perfect !
