For parties larger than 8, please call the restaurant.
Excellent food and service. Pretty cool place with the brick.
Food execution was mediocre. Got the pesto pasta, (can't recall name if dish), too much pine nuts. Dish smelled like oat meal. Tasted like a left over dish.
The wild boar ragu was tasty, but was lacking proper execution-Large chunks of meat.
Gnocchi texture was good, yet for almost $30 a plate, the gnocchi was cut in random pieces. Some pieces were the size of sugar cubes, and as large as 9 volt battery.
If this place concentrated more on execution, it would justify the price point.
What a nice cozy place for casual dining. Food was excellent with anything from full dinner to amazing pizzas. Bar area has character.
Bar Lucca is a wonderful Mediterranean restaurant in Conshohocken with a casual vibe, great food and service!! Perfect for a date or business lunch. I am definitely going back and bringing friends!!
Great spot in Conshy - great ambiance! I love the bar area but the seats are backless which is its only downfall! The bar does offer happy hour specials that are not available at regular dining tables.
Great ambiance and food as usual.
One of our favorite spots! Always great service and food!
Bar Lucca is always great! Their service is just right and the food is delicious!
I would like to try the pizza on a return trip. It seemed like the most popular dish.
We did the tasting menu and everything that came out was absolutely delicious! We had lots of leftovers to take with us as well
It was a very nice atmosphere and great pasta!
Cant wait to go again ! Fun restaurant with great service and delicious menu. Ambiance was perfect !
It was really warm in there, not somewhere I’d want to be on a summer day. Food menu was limited and average at best. Waitress did not pay attention to water refills. Very noisy, hard to have any conversation, would not recommend or go back.
Public service announcement...you haven’t lived until you’ve had the gnocchi in black garlic cream sauce from Bar Lucca.
Loved the food, especially the eggplant appetizer! Delicious Sangria! Yummy bread. Wait staff were friendly and helpful.
Love Bar Lucca. T.J. Is the best waiter and bartender ever! This time around, we waited a very long time before our waiter (not T J) came to our table. The$23 meat and cheese board only had 2 very small pieces of cheese. Pizza, wine and strawberry basil sangria were excellent. Restaurant was very noisy last night. The noise level is normally reasonable, so last night may be an anomaly. Looking forward to going back.
Love bar lucca! The food is delicious and overall the atmosphere is great. Never had a bad experience here.
I had been to Bar Lucca a few times and loved it so I suggested it to a dinner group. It's out of the area we generally stay within but we had such a good time, I'm sure we will be back. Our server was terrific and fun. The food was creative and delicious. Loved everything !!
Bar Lucca was just fine, but not extraordinary - our server was very pleasant, and reasonably effective - I had no idea Conshohocken had such a lively scene on a Thursday night - it was quite crowded, and at times the service seemed overwhelmed.
The food was good - I didn't order a pizza - but by the look of things, that would be their stronger game - I had fried calamari - which was fine, but have had much better - my branzino was equally undistinguished, but not bad.
Don't know about dessert - we weren't offered any. Actually, as I'm writing this review, I'm thinking less positive thoughts - but it's a pretty place, convenient location - and careful ordering would probably help!
Great food. Especially the small Bites menu. Some creative and wonderfully prepared items
The a/c did not work or did not cool the restaurant. It was stifling hot!
Strongly recommend! One of the best restaurants in the area!
Very nice experience overall! Excellent salads, meatballs, buratta appetizer, scallops. Casual but nice environment and very attentive service.
Went to Bar Lucca with my husband for my birthday. We had attentive, friendly service. The cheese plate was one of the best we’ve had. Our main courses were very good. They make their own pasta. We will dine there again.
Our waiter Patrick was on top of everything (i dropped my fork and he had a clean one on the table before it hit the ground). Food was very good. It was a busy night and the noise level was a little high. Made it difficult to hear our conversation. Over all a great place. Will definitely continue to eat there.
My reservation was supposed to be 4, then it turned into 6, then 9, then 11. To our surprise we had a private room and table on the second floor of the restaurant. Staff was very accommodating. Food and service spectacular. Everyone had a great time.
Very good food close in Conshohocken for a reasonable price. Good drinks and fantastic pasta and pizza
The place is very nice, the food was ok, the pizza was burnt so my son wouldn't eat it. The wine list had some nice choices. It was not bad, we may or may not be back.
Great food! A bit too noisy.
Four of us dined for the first (and last) time at Bar Lucca on 7/1/2019. To see the range of dishes, we ordered the tasting menu for the table. We got more than tastes. After bread and our wine, our server brought three bowls of antipasti (cheeses/meats, salad, bruschetta), each large enough for a family of 5. After that came three pastas (pizza, gnocci, papardelle), then three secondi (scalllops, risotto, baked veggies ), again each dish enough by itself for the table. Though my wife and I are big eaters, we maxed out before the secondi, and our friends took home two large grocery bags of doggy-boxes. There were a few good moments (excellent meat/cheese plate, good bruschetta, modest wine mark-ups, good server), but the rest of the food ranged from fair to forgettable (i.e., raw pizza crust, leaden gnocci). Enormous portions do not make up for poor preparation.
The neighborhood bar has lots of charm and the location is ideal. I hoped for better food choices. The arugula salad had an odd choice of ingredients and the eggplant plate wasn't as good as hoped (too much batter and strange mixture of flavors.) The other couple's pizza was not cooked properly.
We were seated in the dining room area, but our table was right next to another table in the bar area. The noise level was really loud, the group at the table was talking loudly and we were in such close proximity, we were virtually sitting at their table (only an open half wall between us). Almost impossible to carry on our own conversation. Otherwise, the waitress was very attentive and helpful. Small but interesting menu, lots of shareable options. Loved the salt bread, also the chili oil and fresh oregano for the thin crust pizza. Would go again but would ask for a different table away from the bar area or perhaps outside!
Bar Lucca is a great place to have dinner. The food we had when we went was okay. The calamari app was fair, although I don't think there is much you can do to improve it. We had the tartufi pizza. The flavors we're good but the texture of the dough was not so good. It was spongy and chewy. Chewy is good with pizza but when you add the spongy quality it was not so good. The cocktail menu is boring. Wine list is interesting. I would go back but with average expectations.
I was looking for somewhere new to try to take Steve out to dinner for his Birthday. I came across Bar Lucca. Sooo not disappointed!! This was our first time at Bar Lucca and I will tell you it will not be our last. From the moment we walked in and were greeted by the host, to the bartender who was friendly and very attentive to our fantastic server Jamie. We were a large party and she made sure that all could hear her explanation of the menu. Jamie suggested the Chefs tasting menu which sounded amazing. We all agreed it was the best way to go since there was so much we wanted to try. Omgosh we were not disappointed. Every bite was delicious!
Our meal started on a high note with Burrata crostini with an aged balsamic, charcuterie tray, and a rocket salad ❤️❤️. Next was gnocchi in a lite creme’ sauce with pancetta, parpadelli with a wild boar ragu and a arugula, prosciutto and moz pizza. ❤️ Next was our main course- Bronzino with fennel and orange, Red beet risotto with short ribs and goat cheese, and quick fried Brussel sprouts in a chili oil. And if that wasn’t enough we ended with a yummy dessert of pistachio gelato, mini biscotti and mini sugar donut filled with chocolate hazelnut. Every bite was oh soooo delectable ❤️.
Jamie our server was personable, very attentive, and just all around wonderful. Truly a wonderful night celebrating our wonderful guy ❤️.
My only regret is I didn’t take photos 😏😭
The food is always amazing. This time we had a couple pastas (as usual) and scallops over cauliflower puree with pea shoots, pickled beets, and some crispy/salty meat. I wasn't sure how the beets would work, but it was excellent.
This our favorite restaurant in Conshohoken! We enjoy it every visit from great service, inventive choices, outstanding pizzas, marvelous small plates and a wonderful wine list!
It was great! Food was interesting and delicious!
Should add arancini back on menu... but love going here!
We've been going to Bar Lucca for years, but had a recent experience that was poor. I'd give it another shot again, but the food didn't seem so fresh and the service was extremely slow. It was a Sunday evening, so maybe a different vibe.
