Dinner before a show in center city. Told the staff when we had to be on our way and everything worked perfectly. Food was great from the salads to the pizza, pasta, fish and steak. Great choice when in the neighborhood.
Food was not as flavorful as previous trips and they also didn’t have conchy brewing on tap, yet that was the name on the taps at the bar.
Awesome...as always! Cheers to Team Pieri!!
From starters to desserts, the best overall meal I've had in a restaurant in a very long time. Everything was amazing.
Amazing food and great service. I got the brussel sprout pizza and it was really delicious.
We come here from three hours away (Binghamton, New York), and Bar Lucca is a go to place for us whenever we are in Philly. Love it here! Outstanding food, wonderful service, never fails to completely satisfy...
Bartender was fiddling around on the floor for 15 minutes before he waited on us. Saturday night at 6:00. Bar packed. Dinner service was just as bad. Took forever. Waitress never brought me a drink that I ordered. My meal was ice cold
Always have a great meal here and the service is always terrific
Food was mediocre. Have dined there in the past but was disappointed this time.
30 minute wait in spite of reservations.
Great food. Great service!
The food was good but very rich in taste and a bit over priced.
Great place for a date night with friends! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed our entire night.
Our reservation was 5:45 and the restaurant was empty so I was disappointed that we were rushed through out the entire meal. I had the scallops and my friend had the brisket and unfortunately both were very salty. My spaghetti had way too much butter. I’m really disappointed to be writing this review because I usually have a better experience.
Excellent food and courteous staff. Great evening!
My husband and come to Bar Kucca regularly and the food is consistently good.
food was mediocre and priced too high for the quality. service was also mediocre - we had to get our server's attention to order drinks, table was never cleared, food was just average. would not recommend nor would I return
Great, as always.
Bar Lucca is our new favorite place! Those crispy brussel sprouts are addicting. Will go down in history as my boyfriend and mines favorite date ever.
Always a great time and yummy food
Food was pretty good, (oddly the bread was salty). But was overpriced. Four star price for 3 star food.
Food was excellent as was the service. Unfortunately the table next to us was very noisy. But I will definitely recommend Bar Luca for a fun and delicious time.
First time visit to Bar Lucca on a friend's recommendation and it was great. Cozy bar with good cocktails. Dining room is simple with a view to the wood-fired oven, and the restaurant is quite loud with all the conversation. Food was outstanding, especially the pizza which we shared among our party of four. Apps and other entrees were also very good, wine list was solid and matched the foods. Definitely will try again in the summer when the windows open to an outdoor patio area.
dont visit here often but maybe bi-monthly. food generally very good, service adequate, prices are little steep for small fare portions. small plates very good. bronzino delicious but small filet without side dish really. guess they dont serve dessert or coffee as we werent even offered anything but our check after dinner
Atmosphere was fun a bit loud, however all of the small plates we ordered were delicious!! We had the arugula salad, calamari, octopus and short rib pizza all were delicious. I would definitely return and recommend!!
Great food. Relatively noisy
Bar Lucca did not work for us. Arriving at 6:30 for a 6:45 reservation, we were sent to the bar to wait for our table to be "ready." Once seated, though, we were rushed nonstop by our server. We were in and out of the restaurant in under an hour, one of the quickest restaurant dinners I have ever experienced! The food was tasty (beet and arugula salad especially), but the pastas we each ordered did not provide a lot of food. They seemed somewhere between an appetizer and an entrée -- more of a large appetizer than anything else. So not only were we rushed through the meal, I left hungry. Not good. But people were lined up waiting. We sat upstairs, fortunately. Downstairs was extremely loud by the time we left.
The pasta dishes were excellent. I recommend Bar Lucca if you are in the mood for homemade pasta.
Delicious, but I couldn't help but feel our server was rushing us through the meal. It makes sense because the place gets packed, but it felt a little too transaction-y. That said, I'll definitely be back to eat more of the delectable homemade pasta!
The food was delicious and service great. Parking seems to be a bit of an issue but otherwise I was very pleased!
Loveeee the food here!
The bronzino was very good, however it was served with COLD zucchini/pesto which was bitter, bad, and cold. The slaw, also cold was ok. the hot fish with cold sides was not good in my opinion.
Also, there is no option for making your own pizza, even tho the ingredients were on the menu for other pizzas.
Hostess was as rude .
What an amazing neighborhood restaurant. We visited on a Friday evening in January, and were just lucky to get a reservation. The food was excellent and so was the service. Don’t miss this gem!
My favorite restaurant in Conshohocken!! Best meatballs (appetizer) you'll ever have. Don't forget to soak it all up with the salt bread too.
Fantastic food but VERY noisy...will go again but not a venue for a thoughtful dinner conversation.
Food was excellent as well as the service.
The flatbreads and pastas we've had here are great. We also ordered the fried buffalo mozzarella and it was perfect, as was the aioli that came with it. Good selection of craft beer and Italian beers. I highly recommend Bar Lucca!
We arrived early for our meal, the hostess greeted us but never asked to take our coats. We sat upstairs, the server was nice but was very quite. She told us about restaurant week but not any specials. Our appetizers were good. The fried eggplant had too many onions on top. It took away from the flavor. I had the wild boar pasta and my fiance had the short ribs. My pasta was cooked perfectly but the ragu was over seasoned. You could not taste the meat only spice. All the sauce was on one side of my plate, it didnt even coat the pasta. The short ribs were supposed to have a glaze however they came out like a soup. There was so much broth it made the polenta mushy. The crispy shallots were burt. Our server never filled our water and we never received bread. The meal was okay but I would not recommend anything but coming for appetizers.
Great food, great service, great wine, great atmosphere. A little loud, but actually made it more fun.
