Bar Frites is open daily and serves French bistro fare.
The menu offers Bistro fare including great comfort food dishes and the classics. The Burgers, Steak Frites, Croque Monsieur and Steamed Mussels served with pomme frites are also among the fan favorites. Some of the Bistro Classics include Escargot, a Frisée and Lardons Salad and Sautéed Skate. Any night of the week can be unique with the Plats du Jour featuring Bouillabaisse, Côte de Boeuf and Coq au Vin to name a few. So whatever the mood or taste, one is sure to find culinary pleasure and comfort at Bar Frites.

First time at this restaurant. Very busy Friday night, both inside and outside seating. Good food, tried 3 different wines by the glass (all very good). Beet salad and wedge salad, both good. We had the steak frittes and bolognese, both very good. Creme Brulee was cool on the bottom and warm on the top, as it should be. Service was very professional, pleasant and attentive. It's not an inexpensive restaurant, but not crazy $$$. Only downside- it was loud. Tables are close together. I noted twice in my reservation that this was my wife's birthday. Thought there might be some acknowledgement of that. Overall, our experience was very good.

As usual the food was delicious! The service was surprisingly mediocre. We had to ask multiple times for our water glasses to be refilled and a refuse bowl . Our waiter never came over to make sure everything was good. It wasn’t until we were done with our meal that he stopped at our table only to see if we wanted dessert. Maybe this was just an off night.

A very "hot" place great vibes varied menu. Nice indoor and outside. Any restaurant by the Pol brothers is an instant and continuing hit.

Some of the meals are inconsistent. Great one day & absolutely Not the same quality on other days. The bad part, even though they have a lot of waiters, they never stop by your table to ask if everything is ok after the food is served. Guess they are too busy talking to other employees to be bothered..

Overpriced. Charged 56$ each for a Beet salad with steak. They did not mention they charge you for the salad plus a steak frites entree (oh but they subtract the frites). When the bill came we were shocked at the total and realized what they did. They were not really even apologetic. If we had been told and agreed to that. Fine. But a $56 salad for lunch is a bit outrageous. I would never go back again.

Excellent food quality, excellent food preparation, excellent food servers (attentive without being obnoxious), ideal portions, great atmosphere, clean restrooms, the short story about Bar Frites is FIVE STARS IN EVERY CATEGORY - EVERY TIME WE DINE THERE!!! I could go on and on with countless specific examples of how Bar Frites is in a class by itself. However, this isn’t a book or a PhD Thesis.
