The food is delicious and plentiful, there is a great selection of drinks, the staff are super welcoming and the atmosphere is really different

But good things in life don't come cheap and this place is special. Candle lit and soft music to boot. Beers were nicely chilled and food delicious!! Thank you Bodega, we'll be back in a jiffy!!

We had Sunday dinner here in a cold November afternoon, it was perfect. The atmosphere was warm, friendly and cosy thanks to the tasteful decor, helpful and welcoming staff and tasty food. Thanks.

Fantastic food with wonderful staff. The service was perfectly pitched and staff amazingly attentive. Sunday Roast perfectly cooked and good sized portions. Really wonderful experience.

I have been to Bar Bodega several times and have tried their roast, tapas and their burgers. Their food never ever disappoints. Everything is home made and fresh. It was the first time that my mum and brother have been there and they also thought it was really great and loved the beauftiful homemade burgers served with fabulous chunky chips. We were a little disappointed to hear from the waiter that they are about to change their menu and you won't be able to get a big burger any more, only the small sliders which is a shame. Keep the lovely big burgers :-) The atmosphere is always great in Bar Bodega, very chilled. The only thing is, the drinks are quite expensive, the cheapest bottle of wine is £17 which is quite a lot for a bar, however the wine is very good quality. I would recommend this place for some really great food and wine.

Went here for dinner before a show at the Watford Colosseum which is a few minutes away. Had a bottle of wine, two burgers, chips, sides and bill came to £30. Very reasonable, good portions and excellent food. Nice, dark place, lots of candles. Will return.

We went to try the Sunday roast and it was delicious. For £12 you get a proper dish with 4 slices of meat, sides, and a glass of wine. I recommend try it at least one time, I'm sure that you will repeat like us.

We'd heard about this place from friends so were very keen to give it try. From the moment we walked in, we were transported into another time zone. It took a few minutes for our eyes to adjust from the bright outdoor sunshine to the candle-lit world of Bar Bodega, but it didn't take long to start enjoying the atmosphere and appreciate the carefully thought-out surroundings - a mixture of seating/standing areas with lots of people enjoying a relaxing drink or meal. We started with beer and a Moscow Mule which arrived swiftly from the friendly waiting staff - we nibbled on olives, bread and oils while waiting for a main course of the fish sharing board - this was superb and I totally recommend it...beautifully cooked and generously portioned, it was a real delight. The Saturday night that we went was a busy night and the music/chatter levels were quite high. Next time we go will be a weekday evening or a Sunday lunch when the atmosphere will be a little calmer!
