This is an amazing place, great food, service, its a hot spot
There was an awe full smell. Like Clorox. I was not the only one to notice. I heard people say it out loud as they walked to their tables. It never went away. Disgusting
I love Baoli! Me and my girlfriends always find a reason to go. The service (most times) is impeccable.
The food was very well done, but the portions were EXTREMELY small. We went there for the Miami Spice special - which we had to inquire about since they did not give us that menu when seated. On top, since I wanted a side dish with the main course, we had to pay an additional 25% of the cost of the meal. The service was good, but they automatically add a 20% service charge, and on top the credit card bill comes with a place to add a tip. I was not happy with that approach. I will not go back to Baoli.
We went for a date night. Food wasn't what I was expecting for the price.... Very small portion and nothing fancy about it. Service was good but I wasn't happy that they added 20% service charge though we were only 2, not a group!! It would be a lil different if we could do outside dining. Unfortunately it was closed for possible rain. Only positive thing about that place is that the manager was very helpful. I might go there for a drink in a future....but unfortunately it won't happen anytime soon.
It was Miami nice.
Ultra cool!!!!! Big party over there!!!
Service was absolutely horrible.
This was an amazing and fun place. The food was great. Our waiter Jeremy was terrific. Thank you for a great time!
Great Place, your girl will love it! Very pleasant place with good food!
Service and food both excellent. Don't miss the hamachi tacos or the Godzilla roll. Sit in the garden... Lovely vibe. Great music. The one thing I found slightly offputting is that they automatically add in 20% gratuity to the bill, which is fine, but on the credit card receipt they put this total amount as 'pre-tip amount' and leave a space that says 'tip' under it. Many people will probably miss this so read your bill carefully. Service is included.
I love the place, the food, the ambient! But at dime time at night (11:00pm)the music was Bety loud, we couldn't Hear our voices, so we decided to leave.
I´ve made the reservation 2 months in advance - we were celebrating 4 birthdays .
They gave us a creepy table next to the kitchen and without been near the ambience of the party going on. I claimed to the manager and they finally changed us the table but the first impression of the diner was not good.
They forgot also about the birthdays which I had to remind them.
On the overall I wasn´t happy with Saturday´s diner.
Will always love the food and ambience!!!!!
The restaurant was a little too "pretencious" for me and my gf's liking. Food was over priced and it just wasn't the scene we were looking. We were there for a Bachelorette, all from Montreal, and we felt the service was a little over the top and the hostess was a little much. We had brought a small inflatable bachelorette style inflatable doll and she specifically told us: "You can't bring that in, this is Bâoli". We did not appreciate the tone she took with us. (FYI we were there Saturday July 9th at 9 p.m.)
It is outside so it is very hot, humid, muggy, and uncomfortable. There were lots of mosquitos to the point that my server had to give me Off bug spray, which they have at hand for the mosquitos....I don't know if they think that's normal but that certainly isn't what a dining experience should be. The food was great but the heat and mosquitos took away from the experience. Go in the winter. No other time.
Food was good, but overpriced. Outdoor dinning was pretty, but lots of plants drew lots of bugs to the area. Was getting many mosquito bites. Severs were annoyed at our request to move our setting area to inside. That being said, the food was very good.
Unfortunately, not much of a bar scene for after dinner.
Very nice atmosphere. A bit pricey food wise but the atmosphere is very nice!
All I can say is that this place is way over rated and way over priced , after being in this business for 15 years all I can say is that your waiters are not waiters they are servers, the have a limited knowledge of your menu the also do not embrace the table and do not let you feel special. This is not at all what I expected . Prices are way to exaggerated, I guess this place is for people who have money to through away. Would not recommend it.
Very rude servers and bad service. Sushi was good but otherwise BAD. Bugs flew in food and gave a hard time trying to fix the situation
Great food but not worth the cost. Your paying for the high energy night life scene. Slow service common due to big crowd.
We visited Baoli for a friend's 40th birthday. There were 5 of us and we all loved the food and our experience. Our waiter was excellent and had wonderful recommendations. The atmosphere was fun and it definitely seemed like a hip place to hang out. I'll go again on my next trip to Miami.
Great food great drinks and creative menu everything was superb and the service was also excellent!
Went on a Saturday night - great food, great service, had to wait for half hour for our table but worth it, good vibe, but loud -
Porcini Risotto was out of this world as was the beef sliders.
Stopped in here for a quick bite and some drinks and it was excellent. Lela was an absolute gem behind the bar excellent service all night.
My absolute favorite place in Miami - always try to go at least once when I'm in SoBe. Wednesday night party is a must to do at least once!
Absolutely great, food is good, especially the hamachi sushi tacos, ambience, fun crowd.
Just awesome - we stumbled in Baoli because we were staying at a hotel up the street and were immediately blown away - great atmosphere (like eating in an outdoor garden with beautiful lush trees) and the food / drinks were fantastic - trendy crowd - no kids - sexy and romantic setting :))
35 mins waiting time with a reservation
great scene, music and food. my top restaurant in Miami
Very Good Restaurant!
Dinner in the disco bar not as good as outdoors, too loud.
Food is outstanding!!!
Horribly rude host staff. Attitude. Overall experience was good. Just the sitting down part. No wavering on dress shorts being outlawed. I had to walk back to hotel to change. Which I wdnt have done if I weren't with a large group. Meanwhile the dude next to me had ripped jeans and a black ripped eurotrash tee shirt. So that's what you'll get there. Mindless 6 foot hostesses on power trips. Beware. But beyond that good.
We were seated an hour after our reservation - overall, a terrible experience
Unbeatable atmosphere, great music/DJ, we had an AMAZING French waiter! Food and drinks are amazing. Its a place you would imagine A list celebrities come to dinner when in town. We went Friday, big group for a bachelorette party.
Atmosphere and ambiance were great, food was just ok, music was great and the later it got the louder the music got. Very nice if you are looking for a hot spot in Miami.
Rack of Lamb was amazing!! Great place and vibe!!
If you cant decide if youd rather go to dinner or a lounge for date night, this is the perfect cross between the 2!
