Bâoli Miami Ratings and Reviews
It's a nice place to enjoy music, good food and drinks. It's expensive, like everything else in Miami Beach. Drinks are expensive , but food was worthy. It's loud inside. Stay outside for a more conversation area. Inside you can enjoy the music, stand up and dance and see the bar being light up in fire etc. nice experience.
The food was great... I’d rather go here to hang out or have a big birthday dinner than going on a date. My husband and I came here for the first time for a late dinner and had to scream across the table to talk. However, we’ve never been there before and I realized this is probably the reason people come to party and eat there. The food was great we had the sea bass which was delicious. We ended up staying and hanging out at the back bar. I’d say it’s a great brunch, girls night out, birthday party dinner place. I’d like to come here just for drinks. Overall had a nice experience.
Went here for a special dinner with a good friend. We ordered drinks ($25) per drink we didn't get them until half way done eating. The food was so bland and we got sick. We also couldn't get over the service for how expensive the meal was we did not have good service. Our water glasses were always empty. Etc would never go back. The server also added in a 20% tip for two people.
Great atmosphere it's a shame it didn't meet our expectations.
We had a group of 10 girls from the West Coast all in to celebrate a 40th bday. I made reservations almost 4 weeks prior for Thursday night late night dining. We arrived on-time, could not find the entrance, we were about to turn around & leave when one of the girls realized the front door location. We were seated within 10 min. We hated our seating (tucked away in the corner by the bar/service area). The staff was very accommodating and asked that we wait at the bar for a "better" seat. We were seated within 15-20 min. Every single girl LOVED the food & the ambiance. It was the perfect marriage of food, drinks, ambiance, and fun!! We especially enjoyed the music!!!! Bali won our hearts (and stomaches) & we cannot wait to come back. Thanks!
Made a reservation for 10:30 pm for my best friends bachelorette party. The hostess’ were beyond rude to us from the moment we walked in. I requested an outdoor table and told them I would wait and they flat out said no. Then they sat us inside at 12:15 am. Almost 2 hours later. I was SHOCKED and appalled at the service I received. The food was below average and the prices were high. They had 0 disregard for us and the special event we were celebrating. I will absolutely never return here again.
The dinner began with the level of service one might expect of a restaurant of this caliber. However, things quickly took a turn for the worse. The waiters managed to mess up our order on numerous occasions and were generally lethargic. We had the sliders to start with which tasted subpar. For the main course we both had the Australian filet mignon which, at $49, was a tremendous letdown. The filet was already cut into pieces which were too big to eat without chopping them up further, something we were unable due to the lack of steak knifes. We asked four times for better knifes but without success. After the fourth time, the head waiter argued that the meal was to be eaten with chopsticks. The problem with that? We didn't receive any and we don't enjoy choking on our food. After our shockingly dissatisfying dining experience, we were asked if we wanted free cocktails as compensation. Naturally, we declined and left with an aching disappointment. When paying $300 for dinner, one would expect something out of the ordinary. Take your business elsewhere.
I took my parents there so that they could see the clubby scene the restaurant is known for. I called ahead of time and they said that the fire/dancing/sparklers/clubby vibe would begin around 10:30/11. It never happened! We stayed until 11:30 and they finally told us that they prob won't do the dancing that night. Was very disappointed as it was the only reason we went there... wish they had told us they don't do it on Thursdays when I asked.
Too many support service people. Food delivery too fast. Replaced ordered items without asking if another item was desired. No change of table service between courses, dirty plates from one course to another. Food no better than just average. No exterior signage indicating a side entrance through a narrow poorly lite very long creepy corridor. No valet service at the door. Area parking $20 to $40. Accommodating hostess and pleasant waiter were the only 4 star experiences.
I love this concept. Having the ability to have an excellent plate of food in a party atmosphere is my ideal night out. The drinks were just okay, but the food was superb! I switched to sake at the end of the night, which was much better than the mixed drinks. The service was a little on the slow side, but very friendly.
We went to Bâoli on the first open day of the week (Tuesday), so very quiet and not experiencing what is probably the attraction of this place when crowded and more lively. We started by a drink, which unfortunately was initially disappointing as we got two glasses of Champain without any bubbles (clearly dating). On request this was immediately replaced to our full satisfaction. The dinner was good overall. The starters rather ordinary, the main courses and the wine were excellent, the dessert very good. The service was good, and the personnel very friendly. However we found the price / quality ratio unbalanced.
I took my girlfriend for a date, there was not valet parking, or parking at all. Then I asked for the Miami spice menu, and the waitress came back and said it is not being served any more because it was passed 10, it was 10:05. The music was good, but food and drinks not too good. I would recomend other places if asked.
a vene as chic as the city from which it LIVES!!
Baoli enlightens all senses... ultra cool, ultra mysterious! Modern and versatile venue for any occasion! I was taken by surprise, first time there, loved each moment. Total mood-lifting atmosphere, beautiful decor.
The bar... as in heat; as in light; as in FIRE! Set ablaze to earth shattering music, incredibly sexy!
I'm in for life!
The ambience was nice even though was very humid. Need to put more fans outside. The food was great but service was sub-par. I don't blame the waiter as he was running all over the place. We ordered a bottle but had no ice to put in our drinks. I don't assume they thought we would be using the same ice the bottle was put in. We didn't even have a ice scooper. Took awhile to even get a drink order. I know it's standard practice to have the tip included in the bill but please don't ask me ' you can put more tip if you want'. I'm sure the waiter knew he didn't do his best. Please hire more staff! Don't compromise service !
Shabby atmosphere; bar stools needed re-uphostering.
Miami Spice menu was mediocre; vastly overpriced wine list, ridiculous prices.
So-called special bar drinks were nothing special.
We would never come back here, more like a disco atmosphere, not a serious restaurant.
It was my birthday I can honestly say The ambience and food was awesome!!! The service was horrible I sat next to a station where they kept the water at which I ended up pouring my own water the whole time. My waiter came over asking if I paid for my meal which at that my point I hadn't even received my birthday cake yet. My friend got sick and I had to walk her to the restroom and when we came back the table was wiped clean I didn't even get to eat my cake and my friend wasn't even finished her food I was super upset and at this point I was just ready to go. It took the waiter forever to come with the check because he was to busy jumping on the bar. I would never go again because they kind of ruin my birthday for me. I would just say train you're staff a little better.
