This is our favorite sushi place. Can't say enough about their food.
We love Banzai! Hanna down the best sushi place in Denver. Not over priced or ever too crowded. Why wait in line for other mediocre sushi when you can get great ambiance, service and exceptional food here?
The service and food at Banzai Sushi are consistently great, and we love eating there. It's right in our neighborhood, and the restaurant has a good balance between friendly, welcoming and great sushi.
Updated flooring and bar area.
Busy at 6pm on Friday
Just the perfect place after a long week on a cold & snowy evening. A pot of green tea was perfect to warm us up. We chose the New Style Roll to split as an app. Amazing! The scallop and thinly shaved lime on the outside were awesome. I had the tempura entree and my husband chose the tonkatsu. Huge portions! We traded tastes. Everything was tasty and fun. The only drawback, they were slammed. The noise levels got a bit high with every table filled. You’ll definitely want to make reservations before you go.
Banzai has friendly staff and great, fresh sushi menu. I love the small, cozy interior, and the staff is always accommodating. The sushi is fresh and affordable.
Ambiance was very nice and gave an authentic Japanese feel. On the smaller side capacity wise so a bit more intimate. The service was spot on and attentive. The food was awesome! (I judge a place by its seaweed salad and their's was delicious). I can not wait to go back. (Beats the pants off of Hapa and other froufrou sushi joints).
Everyone around us was eating the sushi rolls. Now I know why. Anything else was not very good.
Great restaurant with very fresh sushi and on par with the price of lesser places.
Onon our server was friendly, helpful and attentive.
The food came out in stages so we didn't have to have a table crowded with food at all times.
The ability to use OpenTable for reservations is great as Banzai gets very busy and reserving a booth is nice to do.
The floors and bar were just refinished giving the restaurant a modern and airy atmosphere.
Long time customers and always enjoy the food and experience
Used to be a staple but haven’t been in awhile. Food and service were excellent. Will go again soon
I've been going to Banzai since it was opened and through the 4 owners up to this point. The food and experience and valued have stayed consistently solid and I will continue to go there based on that.
Always a pleasure to go here. Good food. Good staff. Quality sushi. Very pleased.
We have been eating at Banzai for decades but just recently needed gluten free options. We were impressed with the choices and the staff’s responsiveness to our needs! The food was marvelous as always!
Everything is fresh and delicious and the staff is nice. I just wish they would stop messing with the happy hour. It keeps getting more expensive with less options for shorter periods of time.
Love the rolls
Volcano was delicious and not too spicy
Wonderful! I love that this is a smaller, quieter place. But the sushi! DELICIOUS! The fish is SO fresh! We took my dad there for his birthday dinner and all of our sushi came on a boat (woohoo!). He remarked several times about how fresh and delicious it was. Favorite roll? “Tighty Whitey” Haha!
Banzai is a star in the Denver sushi scene. High quality fish and ingredients but priced below the fancy shmancy options that are much louder.
Crispy spicy tuna is a great appetizer as is the oshinko (pickled vegetables) and agedashi tofu.
100 different rolls. There's bound to be many you've never tried.
We'll be back soon I'm sure.
Always the BEST
Always a great meal at Banzai Sushi! Delicious sushi, miso soup, appetizers and entrees. The waitstaff are very attentive and lovely.
We met some friends who wanted the following: 1) easy to find, 2) good sushi, 3) quiet, so we could converse. Banzai met all those criteria. In addition, they sake was warm and wonderful on a cold, drizzly night. The special Banzai rolls were delicious. The service was outstanding. We'll be going back again and again.
Sushi is always fresh and presented beautifully. Choices are creative and should please everyone as to special rolls and the standard fare. Pricing is about the best you will find.
This is the second time my husband and I have gotten sick after eating sushi at Banzai.
Some of the best sushi in the city
Always delicious and fresh ingredients.
The servers are friendly and helpful.
Good parking available.
The happy hour/lunch menu is more reasonable. The rolls are okay, but honestly there are too many to choose from and even though many are 8 piece rolls, they're pricey. Three rolls can easily cost you around $36. It wasn't as good this time as the past times I'd been.
Great little sushi place in Denver. Our choices were delicious and as usual satisfying.
I always enjoy my meals here - very good service and creative food. I love the "wow rolls."
Try a new roll every time we go and never disappointed. Great sushi, prompt service
Sushi is always fresh here! Delicious!
Fresh, large, flavorful pieces of fish at a very reasonable price.
always good, always fresh, and service is friendly and excellent
One of the hidden gems in Denver. Never disappointed!
Banzai has been a our go to Sushi restaurant since 2000.
Banzai Sushi is the best sushi in town. It is fresh and delicious. We will definitely return soon!
Creative sushi rolls, best price around for seafood rolls, and the wine selection is not original and thus well priced. Service is efficient and personal.
Consistently great. This is our go to place for sushi. You can usually get in right away and there are tons of options to choose from.
Banzai is a neighborhood gem that I've been going to for over 20 years, and since then it's been owned by three different people. The consistent theme over all owners is quality and value. The food is delicious, fairly priced (for sushi) and well prepared. I will continue to frequent Banzai when I'm looking for a great sushi meal. Lovingly referred to as "The House of Rolls", Banzai has more sushi rolls then any other sushi restaurant I have ever been to. There are options to suit everyone's tastes.
It was perfect! We love Banzai!
