The food was not good at all. We ordered French onion soup and it was bland with no flavor at all. When we informed the waitress all she said was “well.. it’s a work in progress...”. Then why have the item on the menu???? Besides her service the overall place was lack luster. They seemed to be overwhelmed but the place was pretty empty.
Save your money and go to the grille house next door.
Brunch buffet had an amazing selection and not over priced
Our entire experience was absolutely wonderful! Great food, great drinks, great people, great atmosphere!!
First time we came the food was not warm, seemed like they left it out too long, no biggie. I was attending a conference and the location is convenient so I went again the second time. A LIVE TINY BABY CRAB STILL MOVING fell out of my oysters. So... not going back for a third time.
GREAT BAR AND MIXED DRINKS. TUNA TARTARE WAS EXCELLENT, WHOLE FISH OF THE DAY WAS OKAY, BUT NOT EXCEPTIONAL. DESSERTS WERE OUTSTANDING. HUGE BOURBON MENU, PLENTY TO CHOOSE FROM.
Went for a Sunday brunch with 2 friends. The food was what you would expect from a brunch buffet. Nothing is individually a 10/10 but altogether they offer a good variety in fairly high quality. The problem is the price. $35 is simply too much for what you get. You can get the same quality brunch for cheaper elsewhere. Either way, the service was excellent and the ambience is nice. Worth a try!
Nos gustó el lugar y el ambiente. El servicio de Julio fue super y la comida en relación precio/calidad
Overall food and service were very good. I would have, however, preferred a seat somewhere other than right by the big window that faces the annoying sign across the street. I kept thinking someone was playing with the restaurant lights and it was the annoying sign. Now if you're into people watching, plenty of entertainment with the folks walking by on Market Street.
I didn't have high expectations because of mixed reviews from friends. The service was great, the food was good, and the environment was loud (music mixed with talking). I would go again, maybe.
The service was amazing. The food was incredible and relaxing atmosphere. I highly recommend tBank and Bourbon for fine dining.
I met a friend for lunch. Food was great and we could hold a conversation without saying "What".
Came for restaurant week and wasn’t very impressed with the food. The staff was very friendly. The serve was a little slow and it was not very crowded. I will maybe try it again at a later date.
It was loud!!! I couldn’t have a normal conversation. Service was slow. We waited 20 mins for drinks and 45 mins for our appetizers.
And the price to food value wasn’t worth it.
The overall experience was absolutely great. The food was fantastic and the service was awesome. Everyone was so polite and attentive. Thank you Bank and Bourbon.
Food was good. Caramel apple parfait was amazing. Cocktails were very good too.
We dined at Bank & Bourbon when in town for a convention. The location couldn’t have been more convenient since we stayed at the Loews Hotel. The Restaurant Week menu was a great value and we enjoyed the drink variety. Our only minor criticism was that the service was somewhat slow (but friendly).
The food was excellant, the service was not. I don' t know if they were short staffed, but the wait upon being seated till our waiter approced us was about 15 minutes. After taking our drink order they did not arrive for another 15 minutes. We placed our order after waiting another few minutes and when the entrees arrived they brought 3 and we had to ask when the 4th was coming to which we were told they could only carry 3 at time. Fine but then go and get the last one instead of delivering other tables. It is a shame that this was our experience bacause the food was excellent, however they really need to work on the attitude of the wait staff and the hosts.
The service was absolutely excellent snd the drinks were good but the food was off the mark. This was my second time there my dish just wasn't good.
I had the Grilled Octopus as a starter. The octopus was delicious, but I only got about 4 small pieces while the small plate was full of potatoes and onions. Portion was disappointing for $13. My partner ordered the Smoked Kielbasa for his starter. He said the same thing "...good kielbasa, but they cold have given a larger slice for the price...". We both ordered the 8 oz. Filet Mignon. Both were juicy and tender. The issue we had, again, was the lack of accompaniments with the filet. For $38 per order, I only got about 5 roasted carrots and a ton of maitake mushrooms (which I did not like at all). My partner got 1 roasted carrot and a ton of maitake mushrooms. So, while the food was delicious and the service was very good, Bank & Bourbon does not give the diner large enough starter portions or accompaniments with their entrees.
Everything from the food, service , ambiance and location is great. We had a wonderful experience for our anniversary. Maybe they can do something in the future to acknowledge anniversaries or birthdays that would put them ober the top.
Food was good, service was excellent. The noise level seemed to be loud.
So glad we stopped here for a drink after work. Wonderful bar, Great salads and desserts. Very close to the train. Will definitely return.
Went for restaurant week. Overall, good food with generally good service, some people were great, others were okay. I would go back again, if convenient. I appreciated the discount in valet parking for dining.
It’s pretty regular pub food. Don’t expect anything special and expect to pay a lot for what you get - overall a nice meal, just not worth what it cost.
Great service. Loved our Server.
Main courses were good, perhaps a little under seasoned. We had a great bottle of wine. Ambiance is lacking and we had an overhead light that continually blinked. Restaurant convenient from the convention center
The brunch spread was fantastic. The prime rib was particularly tasty with fresh blue cheese and horseradish sauce. We will definitely visit again soon.
Our first experience when we traveled here a couple of years ago was fantastic. Our second, not so much. Our order was so very late, steak was lukewarm and had clearly been sitting for a bit. The salad was bitter and bland. Water ran out before it was refilled, and by then, we were leaving. Will probably visit elsewhere next time we are in Philadelphia.
Great food and great service. The waiter was attentive and kind. I would go back for sure.
Service and food were great!
Good drinks and convenient downtown
The food was okay, but our waiter was not friendly at all. I don’t know if I would go back. They did have a good drink selection, and the steaks were fairly priced.
Perfect location for dinner prior to a show. We were there fairly early so it wasn’t too full. Everything we ate was wonderful and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
Drinks were ok, food not that flavorful or valuable or not that many options so not good experience at all
Attentive staff, originally prepared pork chop, pleasantly quiet.
Great food and service with an interestingly good menu.
Waitress was wonderful, food was delicious. Enjoyed a business lunch and will return.
Presentation of the food was not great, too much of it on the plate, which made it look overwhelming. One of us had the trout and one of us had pork chops both of us had that same experience.
Good spot couple inventive dishes. Not a special occasion spot but fining during the week it’s pretty good.
Nice and quiet good bourbon!
