Food was good, service was excellent. The noise level seemed to be loud.
So glad we stopped here for a drink after work. Wonderful bar, Great salads and desserts. Very close to the train. Will definitely return.
Went for restaurant week. Overall, good food with generally good service, some people were great, others were okay. I would go back again, if convenient. I appreciated the discount in valet parking for dining.
It’s pretty regular pub food. Don’t expect anything special and expect to pay a lot for what you get - overall a nice meal, just not worth what it cost.
Great service. Loved our Server.
The brunch spread was fantastic. The prime rib was particularly tasty with fresh blue cheese and horseradish sauce. We will definitely visit again soon.
Our first experience when we traveled here a couple of years ago was fantastic. Our second, not so much. Our order was so very late, steak was lukewarm and had clearly been sitting for a bit. The salad was bitter and bland. Water ran out before it was refilled, and by then, we were leaving. Will probably visit elsewhere next time we are in Philadelphia.
Great food and great service. The waiter was attentive and kind. I would go back for sure.
Service and food were great!
Good drinks and convenient downtown
The food was okay, but our waiter was not friendly at all. I don’t know if I would go back. They did have a good drink selection, and the steaks were fairly priced.
Perfect location for dinner prior to a show. We were there fairly early so it wasn’t too full. Everything we ate was wonderful and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
Drinks were ok, food not that flavorful or valuable or not that many options so not good experience at all
Attentive staff, originally prepared pork chop, pleasantly quiet.
Great food and service with an interestingly good menu.
Waitress was wonderful, food was delicious. Enjoyed a business lunch and will return.
Presentation of the food was not great, too much of it on the plate, which made it look overwhelming. One of us had the trout and one of us had pork chops both of us had that same experience.
Good spot couple inventive dishes. Not a special occasion spot but fining during the week it’s pretty good.
Nice and quiet good bourbon!
We work in the Market East neighborhood, and Bank & Bourbon has become one of our favorite local restaurants. Most recently we shared the lobster pasta and the grilled octopus - both were delicious. The cheese and cured meats boards are reliably good, and the wines by the glass all quite drinkable. The ambiance is quiet and sophisticated. Hotel restaurants are often nothing special but Bank & Bourbon is an unexpected pleasure.
Go when you have time to hang out. Service is good when they pay attention to you. They seem understaffed or really laid back; I can’t tell which it was.
Service was excellent, very attentive. Food was delivered appropriately paced. We were able to enjoy and take in the city at a pleasant pace. Thank you for making our evening so special.
We had a wonderful time here! The food was excellent, the drink menu was interesting but not overwhelming and the mood was fantastic. We will definitely be back!
Restaurant wasn’t very busy and our server appeared to be quite harried and distracted. Was told the blue cheese dressing for a wedge salad had to be retrieved from the storage room and would take a bit of time. My son ordered a pork chop as recommended by the waiter. It arrived overdone and flaky. The management apologized and removed it from our final bill, and I commend them for taking responsibility. Overall the food tasted average and was overpriced for the quality. This is a hotel restaurant so keep in mind when choosing.
Second time dining here. Restaurant was quiet both times since it was early in the evening so atmosphere and noise level were low. But the service was great and the food excellent. Would recommend for a date or small party. Will definitely dine here again.
If you are smart, you will go somewhere else. There are plenty of choices.
Waitress was amazing.
Service is exceptional, grilled octopus appetizer was great. Desserts could be better as well as the menu options. Nice ambience and easy to locate within the hotel.
Had oysters, duck, mushrooms, asparagus, and the cowboy dinner for two so so so delicious. Very creative cheese board with lots of cheese and of course some 12 yr Elijah single barrel bourbon!!! My favorite drink was the Tipping the Velvet. Super creative with having a mismatch variety of plates!
Had very nicely made & seasoned blackened trout. Entree came with potatoes & string beans. Also ordered asparagus. Meal was delicious. Waitress Brianna very friendly & suggested the entree I chose. Always have a great experience at this restaurant.
My friend and I had a great time, she had never been before and we both enjoyed our selections. We were so full we didn't have room for desert. I just love Bank and Bourbon!
The food was fair to ok. We had the white bean soup which was a tomato based broth. Interesting but had no flavor. I added salt and peppr but it did not help. My son and I did not eat it. The wedge salad was ok. The whipped Ricotta was very good but needed a bigger portion of ricotta. Was small and we had bread left over. The truffle fries were ok. The side of mushrooms tasted like pepper was dumped on it. The NY strip was ok, salty and not medium. More medium well. It came with watercress salad but really it was a hand full of microgreens thrown on top. They should leave off. The Ahi tuna dinner was fair. The duck was ok. Small portion. The trout was ok. A bit dry. The lemon yogurt dressing had no flavor. It was a spoonfull of plain yogurt on the plate. It would have been a nice compliment to taste the lemon and it needs to be thinner consistency. If they add lemon juice it probably would have been. The peach cobbler was terrible. It tasted like flour. the cobbler on top was not even brown and crisp. Soggy. Looked and tasted like it was not even cooked. A disappointing dinner. Will not be returning.
We chose Bank and Bourbon for Fathers Day brunch and greatly enjoyed it! The selection was fantastic- scallops, shrimp, Prime Rib, full hot breakfast options, fruit, salad, etc.
Our kids had lots of options and overall, the price was very reasonable for what we had. I especially enjoyed the Bloody Mary bar where I constructed my drink to my preference.
I thought the restaurant overall was ok, the wait staff were fine, the establishment was fine, the food presentation (Saturday Brunch/Buffet) was lovely, but the temperature of the food was poor. The chaffing dish sternos were lit, but my frittata, breakfast meats, potatoes etc were all lukewarm so that’s why the food scored a fair. Paying $151 for 4 for buffet/brunch and eating lukewarm food was disappointing, however the food was still tasty... I will revisit restaurant, but not for a buffet/brunch.
Great food and great service. The only drawback was the high noise level. It was difficult to converse with my wife across the table. I would not hesitate to go there again.
Last minute spot for dinner. Convenient location, smallish menu and the food was very good.
the food was excellent and the service was outstanding. For being an expensive restaurant it lacked that stuffy air of haughtiness most expensive restaurants have. We spent more than 2 hours on our meal and the staff made us feel very welcome. The ambiance was missing as I never got a feel that there was a theme I could relate to. But I’m about value for money and the food and the overall experience made it well worth it.
Great for a business lunch. Easily able to talk and hear and great balance of attention from the server that doesn’t make you feel rushed.
