I was not impressed at all with Bank & Bourbon. This will be the last time I attend this establishment for dinner. With restaurant week going on in Philadelphia, this was a poor choice. I had visited a number of other restaurants over the past 2 weeks and was very pleased with my dining experience but this site was at the bottom of the list.
I really enjoyed everything about this restaurant, even during restaurant week the service was Superb. I will definitely be back to dine!
Tried this restaurant during Restaurant Week. Food was excellent and prepared perfectly. Husband is very picky and he loved the food.
Jasmine was our server - very friendly and prompt. Seated at reservation time.
Will definitely go back. Very enjoyable, great atmosphere, friendly staff and excellent food. Great find for us.
Excellent venue. Main entree was phenomenal and the cocktails equally matched. The service was great and the staff exhibited great COCID-19 precautions in the up keep of the restaurant and how they greeted/serviced guests.
I wasn’t impressed with the food I went restaurant week the chicken was dry the food had no flavor 😣
Our waitress was outstanding! Very attentive and timely. The food was delicious and presented beautifully on the plates.
Anniversary
My boyfriend and I went there for my birthday. The food was outstanding. There was nothing to complain about, the server was awesome... I would highly recommend this restaurant. Whom ever the chef is needs a raise! Thank you
We went for Restaurant Week and had a fantasic time. Our server was very nice and helpful. Would definitely go back.
Edgar, my waiter, was EXCELLENT! He paid attention to detail!
Great food plus did really well with social distancing
Went during lunch Philadelphia restaurant week. The experience was
Excellent. It allowed us to sample the cuisine. The variety of the menu allowed us to choose what one would like. For instance for entrees there was a fish, meat and chicken. We chose chicken and meat. Both were excellent. Meat was cooked to specification. Had a wonderful experience and will return.
Great food great service
I loved the atmosphere. It was actually my first time dining there and I would come back. Quiet, reserved and our waiter David was very prompt with our our and bringing our food and drinks to us.
Went for the first time during Restaurant Week everything was delicious. Staff has masks and face shields
This place was fabulous and packed all the time. Now, only 3 tables at lunch tome. The roll on my tuna same inch was so stale, size of tuna was small and dry. Very very sad.
It was a great visit to Banks and Bourbon to celebrate my mother’s 83 rd birthday. The waiter was excellent, kind, and courteous and the food was tasty. They also helped in the celebration by bring out a special birthday plate of goodies. Thank you Banks and Bourbon.
I’ve stayed at Loews Philadelphia on numerous occasions . I had only had desert at Bank & Bourbon.I was celebrating with my son. He loves a good steak so I decided to give it a try instead
Great steak, I had the NY strip it was fabulous,. A delightful char on the surface, but still medium rare. It was serve sliced which at first put me off but it turned out that I liked it. I was one of the best steaks I have had. It was served with a small salad which I thought was odd. I ordered the mushrooms as a side they were good. For dessert I had the ice cream sandwich it was really good. The coffee was great. I had a cocktail that was great and not over priced. Overall I can't wait to go back.
Delicious food and very fresh
Perhaps I was there on an off night, but everything--everything--was bland and underseasoned and the pork chop was cooked to the point of being tough and dry. The service was excellent and the oysters and cocktails were very good.
Excellent meal. Well prepared. Attentive service. Couldn't ask for more.
We shared 3 appetizers and each got a salad. The tuna tartar was delicious, the meatballs and linguini were just ok. The beet salad was fabulous! Portions are small but we were full. Overall a nice evening out, but I will probably try other restaurants before returning.
They have a limited menu but we had one of the best filet mignons anywhere.
Decent brunch spread. I opted for a burger which was tasty, but on the dry side... Roll was a little dry, too. Parmesan French Fries were excellent... Service was very polite and accommodating.
Great breakfast!
The drinks were amazing and the food quite tasty. Portions adequate. A little pricey, but in line with center city prices. Nice service from Julio
Server was great, but steak was way overcooked. Server offered to take it back, but when everyone at your table has been served you just don’t want to wait. Not sure I’d be interested in going back. .
Perfect for a business lunch!
Excellent food and service and a real happening bar in the lobby also .
All the reviews are really harsh. This place is actually really good, great time, great service, great food.
Food was less than impressive and overpriced. Checked that one of my list and no need to go back. Basically your overpriced hotel restaurant and bar with substandard food and high prices.
Attended the brunch buffet--nice variety of savory and sweet options. Jasmine was our server and she was wonderful! Super friendly and hospitable.
Previously dined here a couple of months back on Christmas Eve and it was good. Tonight it was a train wreck. We had to wait well past our reservation time to be seated. I had to ask the waiter to speak up and not mumble.
It was not made clear that the only menu was for Valentines day, which was the day prior. Probably the best thing we ordered was the cheese board. $15 for 3 cold fried oysters does not cut it. The pear salad was bizarre. My filet mignon was dry and crusty. I had to remind the waiter to bring out the fries. Our waiter was clueless. Won't be going back.
We had an 8:15pm reservation and were seated 30 minutes late. The service was very slow and the waiter was snippy and did the least amount of work possible. The food took forever despite the menu being prefix. The only saving grace was that the drinks at the bar while waiting were great!
Waiter was great! Food was good.
Went for Valentine’s Day dinner and the 2+ hour experience fell short in every category. The server complained all night he had too many tables to give us the attention needed, the ambiance was terrible, zero atmosphere, and when the food finally did come out it was cold and bland. Absolutely terrible from start to finish.
Poor experience; service was slow, food was horrible- bland and dry and uninspired, menu was very poorly priced and disappointing. Overall I wouldn’t go back.
We did the prefix menu for Valentine’s Day. It was about $20 more expensive than it should have been for the food
Ugh! So disappointing.
The restaurant was very pretty. The food was not worth the price and not great. I have an onion allergy so they appeared to be cautious of what I could have. They told me the appetizer I wanted I couldn’t have. So I picked another one. Thought I was good until I noticed what I picked was covered in onions. So I couldn’t eat it. Thought my dinner would be fine because they didn’t tell me it had onion in it. Nope. COVERED in onions too. Luckily I could eat around them. At least I didn’t have to worry about dessert (which was small but delicious). They should’ve been way more careful. Portions were small, we were still hungry at the end of dinner and went to another place for other foods. Probably only coming back for happy hour but definitely not to eat again. We feel like it was a waste of money.
