Banjo has three beautiful private dining and event rooms for dinners, parties and events from 8 to 150 people. The largest room is Lempriere, with its dedicated ante-room entrance which can be used as a Champagne Bar or Reception. There are two smaller rooms: Beresford, with a capacity of up to 30 for dining and cocktail receptions up to 50, and Gaspé with a capacity of up to 12 for dining and boardroom meetings.

My friend and I went to Banjo on a Saturday night to celebrate our 30th birthdays. The food and drinks were wonderful, however when we got our bill we noted that there were two items on the bill which we had not ordered. I tried to speak to a member of staff about this, however he did not appear to believe me. When I continued he snatched the bill out of my hand, took the items off the bill and then quite angrily put it back on my table and then just stood there with the card machine. I did not receive an apology and it really left me with a bad taste in my mouth (considering we tipped enough to cover the two items which were removed from the bill). Will not rush back due to this experience, which is a real shame as I have had some very good meals there. Whilst we were eating the noise in the room we ate in was very loud and also made it quite difficult for us to speak to eachother across our little table.

The meal was disappointing. Of six dinners, three was of the opinion that the food was bland. The fish was over cooked. Had been recommended this restaurant as we had guests from UK so it was very disappointing as we wished to show the best of Jersey. For the price I would expect better.

Have been eating frequently at Banjos since it opened. Lately the food doesn't seem to be as good and I really dislike eating from the new small plates/bowls. Can we get it back to the way it used to be?

Wonderful food and ambiance. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Would highly recommend their fish dishes on the "specials menu".

Had a lovely meal, great food and service. Sushi was outstanding. My only small negative point was that there was not much time between courses, it was a bit rushed, as soon as we finished our starter, our main course was only a few minutes behind, apart from that outstanding, also which is nice, is having the cocktail bar at the back.

We went to Banjos for a friends 50th birthday. The menu had an excellent selection. We all had different starters and main courses consisting of various meats and fish. All were very tasty and nicely presented. We had a bottle of wine which we thought was a good price. The staff were attentive without bothering you un necessarily. We had a lovely evening. I would recommend Banjos for a special occasion.
