Lovely Thai restaurant located at bottom of Main Street in Park City. Excellent food and service.
Very good food, very good service. Portions ridicilously too big
Great curry dishes and pad Thai. Light should be dimmed to create a better ambiance.
The fried rice was very bland. The waiter (AJ) was very nice but he smelled sour. Seriously we couldn’t figure out what we were smelling and every time he would come over It was very strong. Not BO but sour.
It was amazing but so hot in the restaurant
Excellent service. The food was tasty and good. This is our second time here and we will return again.
A very average dinner. We have not been to Bangkok Thai in many years and we were somewhat disappointed. As noted earlier, very average. While none of the items were bad, none of the starters or mains were memorable. I would say the best argument for a meal here is diversity from the other Park City cuisine (burgers, trout, elk, etc.). I appreciate this not a particularly compelling reason for visiting this Thai restaurant.
Food was very good- but waited an extraordinarily long time for it- over an hour after appetizers. With four small children in toe, it was challenging.
Seated promptly on schedule. Wine selection excellent. Service friendly and helpful. Food fabulous, as always.
Chaang was great... love the green curry!!
Whenever we are in Park City this is a must! The food is wonderful and the service is always spectacular. The wine, cocktail and beer lists have something for everyone.
The food was pretty good, but not great. Very expensive for Thai food, even for PC prices. The service we had was terrible. Long waits for food and drinks and the server just wasn't a very good server.
We got our appetizers immediately, but had to wait for the entrees over 30 min. The explanation was the Oscar night and a lot of take away food. I didn't expect that take away has priority.
The food was tasty and the portions were huge and our server was very attentive.
It took us over 10 mins to get our drinks (soda water and Diet Coke) then almost 1 hr 20 mins for our main. Worst part, the food was very salty and disappointing. Disappointing and frustrating (starving after a day of skiing)!
Love this place. Everything is so delicious and it is right on Main Street. If you are thinking of trying it..do!
We only go once or twice a year, when we’re skiing in one of the close resorts, but as usual a fantastic night with exceptional Thai food
Food is fair. Selection of white wine by the glass is limited.
Food is consistently good and the portions generous. A tasty good value.
Bangkok Thai is one of the most underrated restaurants in Park City. I should know; I've lived here 23 years and I'm a hotel concierge, so I've eaten at almost every restaurant in town. The food is delicious, they have a delightful atmosphere, the staff is pleasant, and the prices are right. Try the coconut shrimp and the green curry - it is sublime!
Great food and experience
Terrible food. Soup smelled like old rock climbing shoes. Wait staff brought our food then disappeared so we could not get drink refills. Waitstaff was very pushy to get customers out of the restaurant and refill the table as quickly as possible.
We visited during a ski vacation to Park City. We were a party of 10 and they seated us promptly in the very nicely decorated dining room. We ordered appetizers and entrees for all to share to be able to enjoy various dishes. That dumpling and spring rolls were very tasty. For entree we had the beef panning curry with was probably the best thai curry i had ever had. The beef consisted of slices of stead cooked perfectly and the sauce was very flavorful without being too spicy. The pad Thai was also probably some of the tastiest i had every had as well. The service was excellent and the food was outstanding while maybe a little pricey it was definilty worth it. i would highly recommend this restaurant.
Food was great. It was delicious. But our server, i think his name is AJ, didn’t make as feel welcome. Didn’t accomodate all our needs and especially didn’t know about their menu.
Excellent flavors in their dishes. Strange presentation of Thai Tom ka gai Where normally it’s in a heated serving dish that’s good for several people, this was just one bowl. Good quality food, but a bit on the pricey side.
Good value for excellent, generous portions and a professional, efficient waiter. Loved eating here. Felt hardy and cozy and everyone in our family gave Bangkok Thai a thumbs up. In fact, just rebooked for later this week.
We come here every year on vacation. The service is outstanding. The food is consistently delicious. We highly recommend it!
Delicious!! My husband and I were in Park City for a long weekend, and someone recommended Bangkok Thai as one of the restaurants they always go to when here. We ordered the calamari appetizer- cooked perfectly- tender, crispy with yummy sauce. Also- our two favorite Thai dishes, so we could compare to our favorite place at home- massalman curry chicken and pad Thai. Both were amazing! You will not be disappointed!
Food was delicious. Only issues we had were that they were out of appetizers we wanted and out of wine we ordered.
After waiting for an hour for our dinner, we finally decided to leave when our waiter was extremely rude to us when we questioned when we might receive our food. Other diners who were seated after us were eating so they clearly forgot to put our order in. But rather than admitting an error, they were extremely rude and dismissive.
Food and service were outstanding. The place was sort of loud but mostly do to our neighboring table.
Third year in a row my wife and I visited Bangkok Thai on Main while skiing Park City. Food was well prepared, nicely served and the servers always made sure we were kept with full glasses. The staff responded quickly to all requests.
Food good (as always), service slow. We ate early and the place wasn’t crowded so no excuses for slow wait services.
Food was really good. I bit expensive but that is what you should expect when you are on Main Street. You are paying for the location. Food was good but any other location off Main Street would have cost about 1/2 the price. That being said I would go back with groups of friends for the experience of dinning on Main Street.
Food was delicious. Our party of five ordered the spring rolls, lobster roll, and five dinners. Portions were quite big. I tried the Pad See Ew and Chicken with basil. Waiter was attentive. The tables are situated close together but the ambience is homey.
Great food! Great service!
The food is good and reasonable. However the restaurant is very tightly packed with tables on top of one another which makes for an uncomfortable environment. We were given an undesirable table that was basically in the middle of an aisle and up against the wine room door. I asked to be moved to another more comfortable table and was told they were reserved which I do not believe to be true based on how things played out thereafter as others arrived.
I believe because it was myself and my 24 year old son we were judged and given the least desirable table in the restaurant. When we shifted the table slightly to get out of the aisle and allow for a little elbow room the manager on hand was very unpleasant and reprimanded us and abruptly moved us over to the 2nd least desirable in a very rude fashion. This is the third time I have visited this restaurant and in each occasion encountered this rude person. He has no manners and should not be dealing with the public and makes me not want to return to this otherwise "good food" restaurant.
Food was excellent. Very very busy on Saturday night. About 45 min from seating before food came out. Long wait but it was good.
Good food, insanely slow service.
While the food is delicious, the atmosphere ruins my dining experience at Bangkok Thai on Main. The tables for four are small and are set so close to each other that the backs of our chairs (& thus our elbows) were bumping into those of the people at the next table. We asked to move to a different table but were told the restaurant was full, even though there was another empty room with tables set. We ordered four dishes that we shared, which barely fit on the table & made for awkward serving for each person. It was extremely loud and difficult to hear and have a conversation without raising one’s voice. As a Deer Valley resident, we frequently take our guests to enjoy the wonderful restaurants in Park City, and we were embarrassed with the experience our guests had at Bangkok Thai on Main. There are many other good options in town that we will opt for in the future.
