Bangkok City - Greenville
Great menu. Legit fare.
Nothing fancy but GREAT food. I enjoy this place and very authentic it seems.
Good and authentic taste Thai food.
Food was ok just not memorable. Nice staff
It was good but I didn’t receive any points. Not sure why??
Everything we ordered was delicious & prices were great. Can’t wait to go back!
Very good food. Great service. This could be because the place was relatively empty.
Very nice quiet spot, hidden in plain view, good food at reasonable prices
Service was great, food wasvaverage, parking is an issue, allow time to walk
Overall I am glad we went there. There was a very loud table near us that made it somewhat difficult to hear at times. The service was very good, the cleanliness was fine, and the wine I had was fine. Tom Kha soup was great.
The pictures do not look like the restaurant at all. The food was also not fresh.
This is a basic restaurant with very good food. We prefer the Bangkok city on the corner of Brian and peak
How can I give a review for a place that I bought a groupon for, and even made a reservation on OpenTable, but was apparently closed for remodeling for two weeks.
Very disappointed in the communication between the restaurant and your partners.
Not a good experience.
(I gave you all 3's because they wouldn't let me skip that part in the review and I didn't want to give Zeros to hurt your ratings overall)
Service was poor. No honey for tea, which is odd as that's a basic condiment. Server was not knowledgeable about the menu. He forgot one of our ordered items and never brought it even when asked a second time. Needless to say, we won't be returning again. It may be better suited for take out instead.
Basic expectation is a great Pad Thai. Didn't deliver. Broths of both curries were thin.
Food was fantastic - place itself in need of a facelift. Great for Vegans/Vegetarians
The two chicken dishes tasted like fish :(. Fried rice was ok
Found this place somewhat by accident while in Dallas for a conference. Great food, good service.
Excellent service. Excellent spicy fried rice. Loved the Pad-Pak & flavorful sauce. Red curry Gang Dang was yummy too. Worth many more visits to try more of their flavor packed dishes! Atmosphere is worn but nice to experience a more quiet atmosphere. One with which you can actually enjoy a conversation while you dine.
This was our first visit to Bangkok City. I have heard great things about it for a long time and they did not let us down. I had the Red Curry and my husband ordered the Basil Noodles. Both were outstanding and we had plenty left over to take home for lunch the next day. I found the food and the wine to be very reasonably priced. The entire staff was very attentive and friendly. Overall this was a fantastic experience and I will definitely be returning. In my opinion, this Greenville institution serves some of the best Thai food I have ever experienced in Dallas.
