   Jake did an excellent job accommodating us for my spouses 27th birthday. He was very attentive and had great recommendations on food. He was friendly and a waiter I would love to have again. Reward this man for his outstanding service! It made our experience.

   From the moment you walk in, you will be greeted with a warm smile and made to feel welcome. The waitstaff is knowledgeable about the menu and can provide recommendations based on your preferences. The menu offers a range of options, from appetizers to main courses to desserts. Every dish is prepared with care and attention to detail. They also validate your parking. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant.

   The food was great and so was the service! I had the Alaskan halibut and it was so flaky and not fishy at all. Sometimes restaurants in hotels are not good, so I was really impressed with this one. The wait staff was super attentive and nice. I would go back for sure!

   Chit was a great server, and our entrees were delicious. Just wondering why in the world they got rid of the blue cheese chips?! The new chip appetizer is not the same. Please bring back everyone’s favorite blue cheese chips!!

   We were a party of 4. We had cocktails and great appetizers: prosciutto beignets and salmon tartare. Three had scallop and I had the elk. Everything was worth coming back for. We usually do Bambara before going to the Eccles Theatre and it works really well.

   We had a lovely dinner at Bambara. Our server was able to judge our preferences for pacing exactly, so we had a leisurely experience with cocktails, appetizers, entrees, and desserts all arriving at just the right time. Support for the server (clearing dishes, replacing silverware, refilling water, etc.) was prompt and unobtrusive and didn't disturb our conversation. The food was imaginative and fun, but, even though we enjoyed its taste, there was nothing that really wowed us. All-in-all, it was a fairly expensive, but enjoyable, experience.

    Waiter very attentive. Wine prices really ridiculous. Quadruple what a bottle a bottle costs in the store. Same with the glass price. So we just skipped which is unfortunate. If they would price the bottle even just doubled we would purchase it. Food delicious and quick service. Parking tricky.

    Always a solid here. Since I last went last they have made a change to their chips and gorgonzola appetizer. It was a good change. Which is to say, you need to go and order that :)

    The cook on my steak was perfect. The chicken entree was savory and portion size was great. My husband wasn't as thrilled with his scallops entree...he said it was "okay". We passed on dessert this time. Overall, a very good experience.

    Service was slow, had to repeat order to get it at table correctly. Room was pretty cold, but quiet. Breakfast eggs served cold, bacon not crisp, English muffin was burned. I would not recommend brunch at Bambara. This was a first try--not good

    First it was a bit of a disappointment to arrive to the restaurant where the decor was in need of an update - and poor lighting. It did not feel like a special place. The restaurant kitchen is open and we can see the action which can be cool but not so much when the staff is dressed like they could be from any local diner. The lighting there is also poor. The food comes quick and I really enjoyed the salmon tartare. Very creative mix of flavors. I had the gnocchi next and they are great though the carrots were a bit too crunchy and the carrot flavor was overpowered by spices. Granted I am a foodie so my expectations may be above normal. Also an excellent blood orange sorbet and good wine by the glass options available

    We had a wonderful dinner at Bambara last night. Service was fantastic. Had two great cocktails (margarita and a vodka, Lillet, pear cocktail). Highly recommend the elk!

    The food was delicious, our only qualm was the large disparity in portion size. Two of us ordered fish dishes—the pan seared snapper and the zaatar encrusted salmon. These portions were quite small. The portion on the fish itself was great, but it lacked some accompaniments. Meanwhile our third guest ordered the chicken which was nearly half the price and had 3x the size of chicken, and a hearty side of mashed potatoes and mushrooms. Had the fish dishes come with a better portion of a starch or salad, we would have given 5 stars.

    Food and service were excellent, had the prosciutto beignets and whipped goat cheese for appetizers. Strip loin with frites and truffle aioli and lamb shank with speatzle and cabbage for mains. Mexican chocolate tart was a perfect desert.

    Food and service both excellent. My only disappointment with the evening was that my husband’s birthday was not acknowledged. I made it a point to note reservation and mentioned it at check in. At no time during the evening was there a Happy Birthday wish. I ordered desert and expected a Happy Birthday when delivered and again nothing. We were in town on vacation for a few days and this restaurant was highly recommended. Again, I would recommend this restaurant but not for a special occasion.

    Nice restaurant; however, not much of a selection for vegetarians and vegans. I had their red snapper, minus the pork, and it was delicious. Outside of the snapper and a salad, there were no other vegetarian/vegan options.
