I enjoy Ballard Loft, but they did NOT keep my OpenTable reservation. I got there and went to ask a wait staff behind the bar how I would find my reservation, and they just said "Go upstairs". I went upstairs and my reservation was nowhere to be found (each table marked with a sheet of paper with 'RESERVATION' and last name). I went to ask the upstairs bartender if he could help me find my reservation, all he said is "Well, I don't have you up here. I don't know." I proceeded to walk downstairs to just see if I could find a reservation downstairs on my own, but it did not exist. I saw plenty of other reservations there, just not mine. No staff would help, and found a small table in the corner to crowd around, luckily, but never got any apology or simple help to find. Very rude.
The Loft is Amazing! I have been a customer since it was opened several years ago. Many Ballard
Bars try to imitate them but few succeed. A great place for people, Not pretentious, no evil eye from locals, and perfect blend of sports bar/cafe/late night spot. I don't know where Dan finds his employees but i have never been treated poorly there. Staff is quick and courteous and friendly. If you haven't been to the Loft yet I assume you just moved to Seattle this week. Check it out now .. Thank me later...
We went here for brunch on Labor Day and enjoyed our experience. The food was very good, as was the service. Nice outdoor dining area. Would definitely be interested in coming back during a football game.
I had a birthday party of 20+ people and the Ballard Loft accomodated us all. We were able to sit together, have split checks and the service and food were great. I would highly recommend this restaurant and bar to anyone!
Sports bar with limited menu. We had a group of 11 and we were upstairs by ourselves so it was quieter and it was on a Monday evening. Everything we ordered was good. Would go back again.
