The food was great, however, the service could have been better. I have eaten at Bali Steak and Seafood multiple times and my previous experiences there were more positive as the timing of the serving of the various courses from start to finish was done well. However, in this particular outing, I felt that the waiter took us for granted and did not update us as we waited longer than usual for our main course. Also, between our main course and dessert, we also had to wait for any service. I will go back to this restaurant as I enjoy the food, but I hope my next experience there will be more positive.
The food was great from start to finish! The coconut bombe was a delightful refreshing surprise! The ambiance was intimate and romantic! The fireworks show was the icing on the cake! What an amazing experience! Thank you!!
Nothing compared to Ruth Chris and you tried to charge the same prices .
Never again here but at least I tried it.
Delicious steak with blue cheese crumble, highly recommended. Great service as well
Food is always perfect.
I felt that our waiter was not attentive to us.
Location was nice but for how exspensive it was I ordered my drink when we got out table and didn’t get it until our food came out witch is kinda rediculious for a place the charges 100+ for a 12 oz steak
Enjoyed the food, service and ambiance
This is a lovely place for a quiet and delicious meal. The service is also excellent. Just be mindful of the prices.
The food was good, but way over priced in my opinion.
The food was mediocre and the service wasn’t great. Plus it was really pricey for what we got. We had reservations and still had to wait 15 minutes to be seated. And it wasn’t busy. I do not recommend this place.
Have stayed at Hilton Hawaiian Village numerous times but never got around to eating at Bali and it is unlikely that I will try it again with all of the other choices for food in the area. While the ambiance and service were quite good, ultimately the food has to stand on it's own. We ordered lobster bisque and raw oysters. The bisque was cold and really had no flavor of lobster save the two small pieces in the bowl. In contrast the oysters were room temp and tasted very much like an oyster. Our entrees were similarly underwhelming. My wife's filet was adequate but for the price I would expect more than just meh . One could get an entire meal at Outback for the same price and unfortunately quality. My fish special, moonfish, was dry and overcooked. Certainly not the moist succulent fish as described by our waiter. We opted to skip dessert and go to the ice cream shop around the corner. Overall, the experience was not awful as our waitstaff was attentive and knowledgeable and as noted the ambience was nice (although decor seems a little dated). However, for the price there are far better options in the area that have great service, wonderful ambiance and much better food (try Orchids). Just my opinion.
Second time here and I took my best friend for her birthday. Food was great and I loved that they gave a complimentary dessert for her birthday - We got to pick the dessert and the Lilikoi cheesecake and pineapple mint sorbet was delicious!
Service was excellent. Beautiful ambiance.
We all know the saying, ‘you get what you pay for!’ That was not the case at Bali Steak & Seafood. We had a server that had the personality of a mortician and barely served us the entire evening. Our glasses were never refilled, our thoughts about the food was never asked, the desert menu was just handed to us with no elaboration or description. The crab bisque was a major (and l can’t stress this enough) disappointment. The mains were fine / average but we had better in town for a fraction of the price. One would expect for the price of the food to reflect its quality and service. It’s a real shame because the location has a lovely view and much potential. The service and the food need a serious wake up call and pronto! It makes the resort look bad to have such a sinking ship around such a gorgeous and luxurious setting. Bottom line, don’t waste your time!
We were on vacation celebrating my father in laws birthday at Bali’s Steak & Seafood restaurant. My son ordered the lobster for his entree and unfortunately the lobster was not up to standards for the price. We quickly brought it to our servers attention and he apologized and had the chef prepare a new one for my son. Since my son had to wait for another lobster entree to come out the rest of our party finished their meals. The manager Jay Yada apologized for the first entree and handled our situation in a very professional manner. He made sure that we left as satisfied customers which we really appreciated.
Prompt service and amazing seafood. I had the oysters for entre and lobster bisque for main. Both were outstanding.
Food was eh. Not what one would think for the price. Lobster bisque was salty and lobster was a bit loose. Service was very good, steak was just ok and I don’t think I have ever had chocolate mousse that was more like chocolate cream cheese. I would not come back. So many better restaurants in Waikiki
Bali Steak and Seafood has been our absolute favorite since first visiting the islands 10 years ago. Now that we live here we make sure to have dinner there from time to time, especially for special occasions. The food is amazing with friendly service that makes you feel very comfortable. The "resort casual" dress code is a huge plus as well. It helps you enjoy a great meal in island style. We will be back for sure. Highly recommended.
The lobster bisque is fishy and is not like any bisque I have ever had. Steak was ordered medium rare and it came out medium well. They did replace it promptly. Steak had nice flavor and was a generous portion. The rest of he meal was disappointing. Very very overpriced for what you get.
We celebrated our anniversary and each received a lei and a dessert to share. The blackened Mahi was awesome!
Our waitress, Malia, was amazing. The sunset view is spectacular!
Service was good, no issues. To start, pricing was crazy. A $30 bottle of wine in a store went for $350+. This place is a complete tourist trap and assuming so since it is on the 'reservation' of the Hilton. First course was awful. Oysters on the half came with caviar, this is a huge no way. Raw fish shouldn't taste fishy, because the school of thought is you should not eat raw that smells fishy but overall just no good. Also had the crab cake. Throw a bunch of bread crumbs on a plate with sauce, and there you go. Main dishes, I had the lamb, the only thing that was actually great. Cooked to perfection and tasty. But the veggies on the plate were horrid and over cooked. This dish was $60 BUT YOU ONLY GET 4 CHOPS!! It's advertised as a rack. Other dish was the mahi-mahi blackened. It was practically tasteless, bad and the pairing of sauce was opposite of what should go with the meal. A total no go and not able to be finished. Opted to skip dessert. Would not ever go back. It's completely OVER PRICED and not even close to mediocre at best.
Our Waiter gave us good service. However the food was less than what we expected especially with the high prices. We have been to other restaurants with quality where you get what you pay for.
Se tardaron mucho en traer la comida, en general esta rico pero nada espectacular
Our server was pleasant but the environment is sterile and boring- not even any music! The food was overpriced for what it is. A green salad with a couple of piece of cucumber and radish was $17!
The food was ok, but it was overpriced (probably because it was NYE).
The food was unexpired at an outrageous cost. Not one item stood out.
I reviewed their menu and booked a reservation for New Years Eve. When we were seated with menus, we learned that there was a fixed price dinner only, for $175. The fixed price menu was very limited, with red snapper as the only seafood option. Service was dreadful, with our server regularly disappearing for 20+ minute intervals. The limited dessert order was confused, requiring another 20 minutes to report. I’ll never book a holiday meal at a Hilton again.
Poor. Menu small, over rated, priced high
Didn’t get the table we requested but appetizers were good main course was a bit salty but the staff was great and took care of us
Overpriced and food was mediocre. Lobster bisque was salty so does my wife’s seafood medley. Service was so slow. Ambience was almost cafeteria like. We were so disappointed...
I will let my friends and family know to stay away from this restaurant as much as possible.
The food was surprisingly delicious!
Very good service! Customization for special needs. Kid friendly drinks that are not junky.
The food and service are excellent but the prices are ridiculous. One dinner here cost 3x what comparable dinners cost in the area. As much as we liked the food, I would not recommend Bali's.
It was great atmosphere and cuisine especially filet steak
Way overpriced for the food quality. I would not recommend it and not planning to come back.
Our server was outstanding. For a steak and seafood restaurant, the variety of both were very limited and extremely overpriced at that.
Good but far from amazing
Visiting Hawaii for Christmas. My wife and I went for our Christmas Eve dinner. Great meal and service. Thank you for making our Christmas Eve a special one.
