We came to Bali's because we wanted to spoil ourselves on our last night in Hawaii before heading home. For some reason they tried to seat us at the worst located table in their dinning room instead of one with a view of the beach. I pointed out better tables and asked why, with a reservation was we being placed at such a bad table. Eventually the waitress did seat us at a better table. After that everything was fine. The Mahi was excellent the the service was good. I did notice no one else was seated at the table we rejected the entire time we were there.
Great food and service
Many open table and still they had a 20 minute wait. The food was good, but not great.
This is a decent restaurant. Good ambiance and the service was pretty good too. My mother ordered a steak and she said it was good. I ordered the seafood medley-one lobster tail, a little fish, one shrimp, and one scallop. It was good, but I felt like it was a bit overpriced with only getting one shrimp and one scallop.
The dessert was phenomenal!
My husband and I loved our food and the service was fantastic. We definitely would recommend your restaurant. Our waiter Mike was very on top of his service to us. The steaks were done to perfection
We had surf and turf both proteins were over cooked but wait staff was good. Over priced !
Great dinner, food is outstanding. Only issue we had was the Maine lobster is way to small for the price they charge.
Beautiful restaurant with ocean view. Excellent food and service. Expensive But definitely worth it for a special night out.
Enjoyed time with family.
Wonderful meal and service!
We were seated promptly. Would have preferred a table directly Oceanside as opposed to middle of the restaurant. We had a 5pm reservation, which was right when they opened for dinner, so the place was not packed. Offering us a better table would have been appreciated. Servings for the starters and appetizers were generous, but the main course servings were on the small side. My younger sister has a dairy allergy, and they were willing to hold the sauce on the mahi mahi to make it acceptable for her. I was surprised by the small offering of local seafood in the menu. Wine list by the glass was what I would consider limited. Selection of ports for after dinner drinks definitely needs expanded. Good but not fantastic.
Food portion was outrageously small: one king crab and four shrimps as an adult dinners are sign that never again. We can go all you eat buffet for price of one crab leg.
Very nice evening - a good time was had by all. The food and service was great!
Perfect dining experience on Waikiki. Worth every dollar spent. A little luxurious but well worth it. Delicious meal, excellent cocktails, wonderful ambiance.
Food was imaginative and delicious. Service knowledgeable and attentive. Wonderful place to enjoy the sunset on the ocean.
Our server was very informative. Made for a wonderful evening.
Magnificent service from the attentive greeters to the bar tender (a true mixologist) and our fantastic server - all went the extra mile for us. The wine selection made it easy to go by the carafe so we could better pair with our meal choices. Of their signature dishes the mahi was truly “mahi-magic”. I was disappointed by the beef selection and would instead recommend their rack of lamb. If you are starving start with their lobster tempura as an appetizer. We did but it made us ineligible for dessert.
The food was great, however, the service could have been better. I have eaten at Bali Steak and Seafood multiple times and my previous experiences there were more positive as the timing of the serving of the various courses from start to finish was done well. However, in this particular outing, I felt that the waiter took us for granted and did not update us as we waited longer than usual for our main course. Also, between our main course and dessert, we also had to wait for any service. I will go back to this restaurant as I enjoy the food, but I hope my next experience there will be more positive.
The food was great from start to finish! The coconut bombe was a delightful refreshing surprise! The ambiance was intimate and romantic! The fireworks show was the icing on the cake! What an amazing experience! Thank you!!
Nothing compared to Ruth Chris and you tried to charge the same prices .
Never again here but at least I tried it.
Delicious steak with blue cheese crumble, highly recommended. Great service as well
Food is always perfect.
I felt that our waiter was not attentive to us.
Location was nice but for how exspensive it was I ordered my drink when we got out table and didn’t get it until our food came out witch is kinda rediculious for a place the charges 100+ for a 12 oz steak
Enjoyed the food, service and ambiance
This is a lovely place for a quiet and delicious meal. The service is also excellent. Just be mindful of the prices.
The food was good, but way over priced in my opinion.
The food was mediocre and the service wasn’t great. Plus it was really pricey for what we got. We had reservations and still had to wait 15 minutes to be seated. And it wasn’t busy. I do not recommend this place.
Have stayed at Hilton Hawaiian Village numerous times but never got around to eating at Bali and it is unlikely that I will try it again with all of the other choices for food in the area. While the ambiance and service were quite good, ultimately the food has to stand on it's own. We ordered lobster bisque and raw oysters. The bisque was cold and really had no flavor of lobster save the two small pieces in the bowl. In contrast the oysters were room temp and tasted very much like an oyster. Our entrees were similarly underwhelming. My wife's filet was adequate but for the price I would expect more than just meh . One could get an entire meal at Outback for the same price and unfortunately quality. My fish special, moonfish, was dry and overcooked. Certainly not the moist succulent fish as described by our waiter. We opted to skip dessert and go to the ice cream shop around the corner. Overall, the experience was not awful as our waitstaff was attentive and knowledgeable and as noted the ambience was nice (although decor seems a little dated). However, for the price there are far better options in the area that have great service, wonderful ambiance and much better food (try Orchids). Just my opinion.
Second time here and I took my best friend for her birthday. Food was great and I loved that they gave a complimentary dessert for her birthday - We got to pick the dessert and the Lilikoi cheesecake and pineapple mint sorbet was delicious!
Service was excellent. Beautiful ambiance.
We all know the saying, ‘you get what you pay for!’ That was not the case at Bali Steak & Seafood. We had a server that had the personality of a mortician and barely served us the entire evening. Our glasses were never refilled, our thoughts about the food was never asked, the desert menu was just handed to us with no elaboration or description. The crab bisque was a major (and l can’t stress this enough) disappointment. The mains were fine / average but we had better in town for a fraction of the price. One would expect for the price of the food to reflect its quality and service. It’s a real shame because the location has a lovely view and much potential. The service and the food need a serious wake up call and pronto! It makes the resort look bad to have such a sinking ship around such a gorgeous and luxurious setting. Bottom line, don’t waste your time!
We were on vacation celebrating my father in laws birthday at Bali’s Steak & Seafood restaurant. My son ordered the lobster for his entree and unfortunately the lobster was not up to standards for the price. We quickly brought it to our servers attention and he apologized and had the chef prepare a new one for my son. Since my son had to wait for another lobster entree to come out the rest of our party finished their meals. The manager Jay Yada apologized for the first entree and handled our situation in a very professional manner. He made sure that we left as satisfied customers which we really appreciated.
Prompt service and amazing seafood. I had the oysters for entre and lobster bisque for main. Both were outstanding.
Food was eh. Not what one would think for the price. Lobster bisque was salty and lobster was a bit loose. Service was very good, steak was just ok and I don’t think I have ever had chocolate mousse that was more like chocolate cream cheese. I would not come back. So many better restaurants in Waikiki
Bali Steak and Seafood has been our absolute favorite since first visiting the islands 10 years ago. Now that we live here we make sure to have dinner there from time to time, especially for special occasions. The food is amazing with friendly service that makes you feel very comfortable. The "resort casual" dress code is a huge plus as well. It helps you enjoy a great meal in island style. We will be back for sure. Highly recommended.
The lobster bisque is fishy and is not like any bisque I have ever had. Steak was ordered medium rare and it came out medium well. They did replace it promptly. Steak had nice flavor and was a generous portion. The rest of he meal was disappointing. Very very overpriced for what you get.
We celebrated our anniversary and each received a lei and a dessert to share. The blackened Mahi was awesome!
