Fantastic experience for a group of 4. Gorgeous view of the ocean and sunset. The staff were extremely attentive and informative. Special thanks to Eddie, the sommelier, who gave us a better recommendation on a wine based on our original wine selection...very much appreciated! The appetizers and main courses were perfect and couldn't be happier...highly recommend!
The atmosphere was very nice and calming. We enjoyed our waiter, He was very professional. The food was very tastey
Attentive servers, food was excellent! My children crashed so we had to leave in a rush. Server noticed and was gracious in expediting payout!
I understand this was a restaurant on a resort property, but for the money I spent I wasn’t “impressed.” I have had better steaks for much less.
I had the fish and it was so dry and floverless
My husband had the rib eye steak and it was so tough
Ordered my filet medium-rare twice. First time it was wayyyy overcooked, and second time it was ice cold. Thankful for a beautiful sunset or it would’ve been a complete waste.
2 hostesses at the front had nothing but attitudes. We had made a reservation at least 24 hrs in advance, asked for a table along the railing so we could watch the sunset. Arrived 3 mins before our reservation time. We were told to wait 5 mins, then got offered a seat almost at the back of the restaurant which we declined. Then got offered a seat in the middle of the restaurant. We explained we had asked for a table along the railing to watch the sunset to which we were told there was nothing. At the same moment 2 tables along the railing got up and left. We pointed this out. We were told with a big eye roll and in a very unpleasant tone, that we would have to wait at least 20 mins. 28 mins later we were seated. Missed the sunset and got seated with a server who must have caught the same bad attitude as the 2 hostesses. Only time she even bother to engage with us was when it was l time for the bill. Absolutely the worst experience we have had!! First time we have ever tipped less than 18% and that was only so the support staff could receice a tip as it's not their fault these 3 people have very bad attitudes. The server and the 2 hostesses beed to learn how to be in the customer service industry. If we hadn't pre-paid for our hotel room we would completely write this property off and not go back simply due to the atrocious service. To add to this terrible experience all off the food portions were pretentiously small and add to that our filet was horribly over cooked. Never got a chance to express this as the server didn't bother to ask how our meal was at all. Like stated earlier we never saw her again until it was time for payment. Had better service at McDonald's.
Had the 6 oz filet and it was done perfectly! My husband had the Mahi Mahi and it was excellent! Our server was great too! Fun watching the fireworks from the restaurant! We make it a point to eat here every time we are staying in Honolulu.
Thanks for another great dinner!
Overpriced- food is decent, but not at the prices they charge
Best meal of our vacation. The service and food were amazing.
Food was fantastic my wife's steak came out a little undercooked but they took it back and it came out perfectly.
So...so Food does not meet my expectations
Very good food, service is good. Just little pricey
We had the most amazing night here. The staff were attentive but subtle. The food was amazing, the sommelier knew his onions and wasn't pushy.
And the Friday fireworks were a treat.
The bill was lumpy, but for what we had was with every penny /cent!
Highly recommend, you won't be disappointed.
On vacation, staying at the Hilton. Our experience in Waikiki, in general, has been mediocre. However, dinner here was one of the dining highlights of our entire trip, including dining in the Big Island.
Beautiful atmosphere and great service. Food was served quickly. The only downfall is I feel like it’s just waaaaay over priced. Especially for the portions. Excellent taste and presentation though.
The staff was very attentive to our needs!
It was a fantastic experience. We loved it from beginning to end.
Getting to Bali and finding it was very difficult in the Hilton Village as it's pretty well hidden within one of the towers of rainbow Tower. So getting we got there early. Luckily. However, it took maybe 15 minutes to even find somebody to tell us where it was. The service was good at start. They they took our orders and everything and then for quite a while we were not served and we didn't even get our wine to start with early on and had to mention it to a different waiter who then took her order again mean while there were some guests next to us at two men who are very very inebriated and we're kind of fighting it very loud. And however, the food was spectacular for anything if you were just in the food and into those kinds of circuses and can't find it and won't get served. It's a great place to go. So it makes a good balance. I guess try
The food was good but not great. Portions were small for the amount charged. The service was very good and the restaurant is not real fancy. People kept drifting in wearing shorts and tee shirts. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone. The price for what you got is really not worth it and we won't be returning. Too many nicer restaurants in Waikiki to waste money in this place.
Service was superb, food was excellent and the ambiance of being able to look out over the Pacific Ocean and watch the sunset was amazing. Some may say the price is a bit high, but it’s worth every penny!
Wonderful restaurant. Great service. Very attentive. Delicious meal. Steak. Very nice and comfortable restaurant. Located on the ocean. Outstanding view!
Pricey but great ambience
Parents 50th wedding anniversary
Wonder setting - view of Waikiki beach, excellent service and paced just right. The dinner was superb. I had ahi tuna and my wife had crab cakes and lobster bisque. We are in our mid60’s and have traveled globally to very nice places. This was very good. I’d go back.
Excellent service and food in this ocean view restaurant in the Rainbow Tower of Hilton Village
The view was beautiful, service excellent. My wife and I celebrated our 1st anniversary there and she loved it!
The food was really good. The lady waitress only took order and never checked back until we were done. Took order and disappeared. No conversation and no smile and no check back at $300 at dinner? Never asked if dinner was good. Team #5 please change your attitude. Management will never know if we do not mention this.
Loved the service and the food was exceptional! Had the filet and lobster tail and it was amazing
Food was delicious! Ahí tartare and Brussel sprouts are a must!! Our waiter Josh was super friendly and helpful with choosing our meals. I had 4 different dishes in mind and he helped me narrow down! Took his time and was honest about each dish. Highly recommend this restaurant!
Josh is a fantastic waiter with frequent double checks ensuring we were satisfied.
Nice place, great service, but spendy. Food quality and presentation was great. Only issue is that it was rather tasteless.... i had the jidori chicken and the seared ahi... texteture was great which means all were supplied from quality sources, but ahi tasted like water... maybe I had a bad day. But I was taking a group of business visitors out for dinner and spent $1k, so a bit bummed about taste. I had better tasting chicken and seared ahi at local hole in the walls.
Was awesome but the awning was broken so we had no view 🙁
Service was slow. Some of the meals were so-so. Typical high steakhouse prices, but not a good value.
We were on vacation and were excited to have whole lobster. The lobster was such a disappointment - it was completely tasteless and didn’t seem fresh - it was room temperature. I had to keep salting it and the butter to try to taste anything. Also, it certainly seemed small for a reported (and charged) two pound lobster. The steak my son had was very good. My daughter’s chicken dish was blah - also lacking flavor. The service was ok but the waitress seemed very uninterested in providing a welcome atmosphere. She was just going through the motions and it took over 15 minutes to flag someone down to ask for something. The best part was the crackers served with the bread. Those were yummy!
Amazing couldn’t ask for a better experience from the food to service, worth every cent .
The service was outstanding, but the food disappointed. The salad was fine. However the duck breast was under-rendered, so instead of crispy skin, it had a flabby fat layer. And yet the duck meat itself was slightly overcooked. The blackberry demi glace had no trace of berry or fruit flavor. And the charred brussel sprouts, rather than whole or half sprouts, was a pile of deep-fried leaves. I wanted an actual vegetable, not greasy, flaky bits. In summary, the experience wasn't worth the money.
Beautiful views at sunset over the beach at Waikiki. Had same nicely prepared Ahi and wife had a good filet. Service was good. Only gripe is the price. You’re paying for the outstanding views, so treat yourself to that.
