As always the atmosphere is wonderful. We were celebrating a late Valentines Day Dinner as my husband had been out of town on the actual holiday. We were presently surprised that they were still offering the Valentines specials. We started with the Wild Boar Flatbread appetizer and were blown away with the taste; simply amazing and should be a permanent fixture. The dirty martini with hand stuffed blue cheese olives were on point. We decided to indulge and each ordered the Wild Game platter; we were surprised and to be honest disappointed to discover that the majority of the food was french fries cooked in duck fat. The servings of meat were small; and while the duck frites were delicious; I do not prefer for the main course to be over served on the starch and under served the meat. I would not recommend this entree to anyone especially at that price point.

The gin peppercorn sauce was the perfect accompaniment to my filet.

Steaks undercooked. Waitress chalked it up to "chef likes to cook them on the low side", which apparently makes up for it?! Everything is way overpriced, I mean, $9 for side of broccoli? If you have money to burn then sure, check it out, otherwise go elsewhere. Food is much better in "lower quality" spots.
Have been their multiple times and the food and the experience are always fantastic. Robert our waiter did a amazing job with everything. Finally, even though it was Valentine's they sat us before our reservation time when we arrived 20-30 min early.
My wife and I are accustomed to fine dining and wonderful service from dining establishments in the N. IL/SE. WI area that we are relocating from and were looking for a nice spot close to our new home in Charleston, TN. The BHB will likely see us again as our local options for such experiences are limited.
We had an excellent meal for Valentine's Day. The food was, as always, Amazing. Who does it better?

If you want an excellent steak, cooked to perfection, then BHB is the place you should go to compare to other, less worthy steak establishments. I really like the ambiance, the service and the quality of selection I receive when I go there. I have never failed to impress anyone I have taken here for the first time.
We sat down to the best lamb chops ever! Tender, moist, tasty and portions that filled you to your eyeballs.
The food was decent, but definitely not worth the price you have to pay for it, honestly. We both had the Mtn. Spring Chicken and it honestly tasted just like a $3 rotisserie chicken from the deli, only it was $24. $10 for a glass of wine that tasted like it was probably about $15 for the bottle.
Our waiter was great. However, the Aged ribeye steak how to foul odor and tasted the same. Therefore, we could eat no more than 1/2 and will never order that again. This was our 58th anniversary which was to be a very special occasion. The only thing that made it special was the waiter and the cheesecake and coffee at the end of our meal.

Great ambiance, food and decor in a surprising strip mall location! Menu offerings are wonderful, terrific high quality meat and game choices. Pork belly and Brussels sprout appetizer was fabulous! Rib eye and salmon great. A few more low-carb offerings would be good. Service was terrific, server made very interesting and special. We will be back.
The food, drinks, service, and ambience, were superb. Highly recommended!
