Visited Bake's Place this past Saturday, for the second time in a month, to see an acoustic NW Tribute band show. It was wonderful! We enjoyed it even more than our first visit. The ambiance, service, and wine list were really good. I am mainly a wine person, but did try a cute little girly cocktail called Garden Clover Club and it was a bit too delicious. I could easily drink a pitcher! The food options are varied with many healthy choices.

The club did an amazing job with this special show and took care of any problems very quickly, which we appreciated.

Great atmosphere. Music was great. Drinks were great! Food was a little too "creative" for our taste buds.

Great music fun environment, limited but good menu. Live music is fun with limited dance space, sit back from the band, we were too close. Other reviews complained about the cover, it was $16, your in BV, pay it, if you want to see the second show because you had a great time, don’t complain pay it again..... it’s worth it!

Love the music and environment. The food however is an issue. I have severe food allergies and everything is sauced of spiced. I usually order a lettuce wrapped burger with no mayo. I was told the chef will not accept the slightest change order. The issue seemed to be not putting the secret sauce on the hamburger.

We dine out constantly and was shocked at the zero exceptions allowed for medical food issues.

The previous visit I tried the scallops & ended up sick because of the seasoning & or sauce.

Bakes never disappoints! The best room for live music, food and beverage on the Eastside.

Our first visit to Bake's Place...overall the venue was fine, the music was good. The food was okay. Duck tacos were good, but the pink scallops were mediocre, the fingerling potatoes seemed to be missing, the scallops tasted like clams and though it says $23 online, $24 on the menu, we were charged $26. Hmmm. Probably would go back for the music only, not for dinner.

Bake's reminds me of Dimitriou's Jazz Alley, but smaller. Service was excellent. Food and drink were very good...maybe a little expensive...but included a live 2 hour set from a quality trio. (There was no cover charge the night we went.) We will be watching the calendar for upcoming performers.

Great venue for listening to live music! Food choices are a little bit limited and it is not a cheap place on Fridays and Saturdays. There is a cover on those days. Having said that we had a great time listening to the band with friends. Worth the cover charge!

Very nice place, outstanding service, if you like the combination of live music, good food, and romance this is a fun place. The only negative was that we paid a cover to get in ($32 for 2 people)with a live band is totally understandable, but when the band was done and we paid our $150 bill, it was expected that we pay another cover charge to stay..Was a little taken back by that one to be honest, just keep that in mind.

This is an outstanding music venue. I have never seen a bad band there yet. The food is always tasty and they offer some great interesting drinks/cocktails. It is classy, cool and groovy. I would schedule dinner towards the 8 pm hour as music starts at 9. I go there often, and will continue to do so. :)

We went for St Patrick's day celebration. The service was extremely slow. The food was awful and tasteless and the music was also awful and they acted like they had never played with each other before. Not very Irish except for the fiddle player. Sounded like a jam session. Embarrassed for the out of state friend we brought.

What a great way to spend St. Patrick's Day! Bake's Place stepped up to the plate for this celebration. There were food and drink specials, including the requisite green beer! We loved the scenes of Ireland rotating on the big screen throughout the night and during The Irish Experience's performance. It reminded us of the things we'd seen on our cruise to the British Isles:-)

My husband and I brought his sister (visiting from CA) to enjoy a jazz night with Bruce Phares (our old next door neighbor) and Overton Berry. We arrived early, were seated at a delightful table, enjoyed a lovely bottle of wine that our helpful, friendly waiter recommended, as well as a delicious dinner. The waitstaff was helpful all around and the evening was as special as we had hoped. We plan to return.

Bakes Place is a wonderful venue and supporter of the local music scene. I appreciate the support shown for KNKX, local jazz and being an all out great spot for food and music. We are lucky to have such a great place on the Eastside.
A great wine list by the bottle or glass and served in elegant crystal glasses takes it up a notch! The menu is growing and changing and brings something new each visit. I am looking forward to a warm night on that beautiful and inviting patio this summer!

True to Bellevue of late prices are crazy stupid expensive for average food and service. How can they justify $18 for a rum and coke?

Loved how close you can be to the band! Amazing entertainment line up as well! The only thing that was annoying was how noisy people are while the band is performing...hard to REALLY enjoy the musicians. My husband's filet steak was a little tough, no potato was included and no bread was served to munch on...my salad was okay. But for watching the band - it was great! we loved it and will be back!

Went to see a local Country artist, have been to a number of other performances (Jazz, Latin primarily) Great intimate event space (seats about 100 or so) a bit smaller than Jazz Alley in Seattle. We have always appreciated Craig’s support of local artists too. Good drinks, food good too. Nice outdoor space weather permitting with fireplace seating. Stop by after work on a warm summer afternoon, you wont be disappointed. Bake’s also plays Seahawks on a super-big screen projection, almost as good as being at the game.

The ambiance we found appealing. The seating allowed an unobstructed view of the stage, and we found this great. The servers were fun except our server I had to tell to stay off my of my shoes twice. The price was moderate. The overall experience we did enjoy family and friends during the Kate Westin performance.

Went to listen to music, Ventura Highway Revisited. Was terrific. Food was delicious but pricy. $10 for 3 shrimp added to a dinner sized $11 spinach salad. Really? And we waited 75 minutes for food. Unacceptable.

My bride and I enjoyed the live music and setting. The male waiter at first was a bit snobby, but warmed up. The female waiter/bartender that followed was outstanding. The manager also came by and was attentive. We order both specials (appetizer and entree). The appetizer was very good, but my scallop entree was not. It tasted gritty and not well cleaned. The music was perfect for our occasion. The place was empty. Don't know why. I love the place. Just be careful on what you order. Oh and the beer was also very good.
