What a great way to spend St. Patrick's Day! Bake's Place stepped up to the plate for this celebration. There were food and drink specials, including the requisite green beer! We loved the scenes of Ireland rotating on the big screen throughout the night and during The Irish Experience's performance. It reminded us of the things we'd seen on our cruise to the British Isles:-)
Fantastic music, amazing cocktails, great atmosphere, warm, welcoming staff. Always a fun time at Bake's Place!
We saw the band Shaggy Sweet and they are exceptional. The venue is awesome for listening to live music. Food is good and the servers work really hard to make sure you are taken care of.
Live music in a great atmosphere. You are always treated well and the music is always very very good. Food and drink choice are excellent also. Highly recommended.
Wonderful acoustics! Went to see your friend who is a jazz musician. The place was packed until the very end. Bake's is one of the best intimate music venues in Seattle / Bellevue
We went to hear the music
My husband and I brought his sister (visiting from CA) to enjoy a jazz night with Bruce Phares (our old next door neighbor) and Overton Berry. We arrived early, were seated at a delightful table, enjoyed a lovely bottle of wine that our helpful, friendly waiter recommended, as well as a delicious dinner. The waitstaff was helpful all around and the evening was as special as we had hoped. We plan to return.
Bakes Place is a wonderful venue and supporter of the local music scene. I appreciate the support shown for KNKX, local jazz and being an all out great spot for food and music. We are lucky to have such a great place on the Eastside.
A great wine list by the bottle or glass and served in elegant crystal glasses takes it up a notch! The menu is growing and changing and brings something new each visit. I am looking forward to a warm night on that beautiful and inviting patio this summer!
True to Bellevue of late prices are crazy stupid expensive for average food and service. How can they justify $18 for a rum and coke?
Bakes has it all: great locale (easy parking), great bands, decent+ food.
Always look forward to going to Bake's.......especially when Ventura Highway is playing !
Loved how close you can be to the band! Amazing entertainment line up as well! The only thing that was annoying was how noisy people are while the band is performing...hard to REALLY enjoy the musicians. My husband's filet steak was a little tough, no potato was included and no bread was served to munch on...my salad was okay. But for watching the band - it was great! we loved it and will be back!
I didn't know how this venue would work for a rock 'n' roll band - turns out it was GREAT!
Our favorite First Friday of the month date night place! We love Bake's Place. The food and service is always excellent, and the music is fantastic.
We saw the Earth Wind and Fire group. Loved it!!!
Excellent food, great service and a really nice venue to watch live music. We will definitely be back to Bakes Place!
Bake's was a blast as always! Love the food, musicians and awesome staff. Favorite date night spot in Bellevue!
Went to see a local Country artist, have been to a number of other performances (Jazz, Latin primarily) Great intimate event space (seats about 100 or so) a bit smaller than Jazz Alley in Seattle. We have always appreciated Craig’s support of local artists too. Good drinks, food good too. Nice outdoor space weather permitting with fireplace seating. Stop by after work on a warm summer afternoon, you wont be disappointed. Bake’s also plays Seahawks on a super-big screen projection, almost as good as being at the game.
Bakes Place is a favorite restaurant of ours. We go frequently for the music and the food. Service is excellent and friendly. Always relaxed which leads to conversations with neighboring tables ... if you want.
Music was outstanding!
The ambiance we found appealing. The seating allowed an unobstructed view of the stage, and we found this great. The servers were fun except our server I had to tell to stay off my of my shoes twice. The price was moderate. The overall experience we did enjoy family and friends during the Kate Westin performance.
Loved Bake’s! Great spot for music and fun! Can’t wait to come back...
Went to listen to music, Ventura Highway Revisited. Was terrific. Food was delicious but pricy. $10 for 3 shrimp added to a dinner sized $11 spinach salad. Really? And we waited 75 minutes for food. Unacceptable.
Everything was very good. It was like a jazz supper club. The music was great. The grilled gnocchi were unique in my experience and very good.
Out with Jazz Alley, IN with Bake’s Place! The food was delicious and every seat enjoys a great view of the stage! Looking forward to our next visit!
My bride and I enjoyed the live music and setting. The male waiter at first was a bit snobby, but warmed up. The female waiter/bartender that followed was outstanding. The manager also came by and was attentive. We order both specials (appetizer and entree). The appetizer was very good, but my scallop entree was not. It tasted gritty and not well cleaned. The music was perfect for our occasion. The place was empty. Don't know why. I love the place. Just be careful on what you order. Oh and the beer was also very good.
Great for live music, nice ambience. Good is trendy and pricey.
Our first time. We loved it! We’l be back, next time with friends❤️
We love Bake's for many reasons, not the least of which is the fantastic service we always receive. The servers are attentive, knowledgeable and capable. We enjoy going there for live music and the food can not be beat!
There for New Year’s Eve. Ventura Highway Revisited was awesome. Really a super band! Food was great!
I reserved dinner for two and indicated online it was my daughter’s 24th birthday. I assumed they would do something special for her birthday , but there was no mention of her birthday, not one word. Dissapointed....so after a while after dinner ( after trying to flag down another waiter to get the bill, since our waitress did not come back ), we left to go elsewhere for dessert to celebrate her birthday.
We watched the Seahawks on the big screen. Excellent viewing of the game! Great place for music and dining as well. We will be back!
Best place for Tingstad and Rumbel's Christmas concert. I always have a great time!
We've been going to Bake;s since it was up at Providence Point on the Sammamish Plateau. We love what Craig and Laura have done with the restaurant in Bellevue. They clearly love what they do and it shows. It's a wonderful place to hear music, have a good meal, celebrate, and enjoy the sun on the deck in the Summer.
Cool spot in Bellevue for good music and great food
Discovered Bakes Place when we went to see our high school friend sing with his band (Andy Stokes) and have now gone back each time he's been there. The atmosphere is great from the sound system to the dining.
Great venue for live music, or live music with dinner. Food is well prepared with lots of options. Live music choices are excellent.
Food, Service and entaretement were great!
Food deliciuos, server very attentive,
The only con is music is very loud and please confirm sitting...avoid balcony.
Venue is amazing to see live music.
The food is pretty good ... one of us was Vegan and the chef did a pasta special pasta dish -- thanks for that!
This is a classic , hip, music bar. The band that played (Shaggy Sweet) was not truly blues, as I had thought, however, brought the house down. The food was good overall, drinks were a bit pricey. There is a 10$ cover charge, but very worth it. Book in advance to get seating closer to the stage. Notable mention- the guitarist of Shaggy Sweet nailed Jimmy Hendrix's guitar work! Love the venue, service was good, music was excellent. Will be back. Great date night! :)
