This venue is one of my favorite. It is an intimate place to go have dinner, and see a great show. This is my second time there and I look forward to going back. Our server was always aware of our needs without being overbearing. It was a wonderful evening.. Thank you Bake's Place!
The music was outstanding. The menu was limited but covered a good spectrum of dishes. Our steaks were served cold as was my wife’s salmon. Food was not served all at the same time, but in three different runs to the kitchen. This may have contributed to lack of heat. But, the dishes were cold on arrival not after waiting. The number of items available was actually smaller than the menu. There were not that many people eating, but we were warned about limited orders of salmon. One of our guest who ordered steak had to change his order as they also ran out of ribeye steak. Our server was pleasant but not very knowledgeable about the menu. He mispronounced one of the wines and had to comeback twice because he kept forgetting the second wine we ordered. The entertainment, Th Coats, made up for much of the other issues with food and service.
Great place! Our first time and not last. The music was sensational, food was great, seating perfect. One of our group was in a wheelchair and getting to our table couldn't have been easier. Stevie Rosario and 'Mantra' preforming was top notch and saw how stoked the crowd was, so continued playing with out a break. Just a real nice place.
Very nice band/music, but you need to work on your food (taste & vegetarian options). Also music was a tad too loud (just a tad)
Great music and friendly staff! Book early for a table tho!
Fun place. Excited for a great music night club venue on the Eastside. The dancers included at Mantra show was fun. Thank you for the entertainment value! Let there Be Music!!
I love Bakes! I take my friends who like live music.
Never disappointed with the quality of food, service and music mix!
We love Bake's Place. Great atmosphere as well as great entertainment.
Great venue to see live music! Get there early and order great food and then sit back or stand and dance if the mood moves you. Been to a few shows now and all have been great. Not a bad seat in the house and a great sound system. Up close to the live acts and fun to watch both the performers and the audience. Go to web site and pick out what you want to hear and see then book reservations.
The music and service was awesome! I’ve been to Bake’s several times and have never been disappointed.
The band Kalimba is always a must see event! The service was excellent, the food is good.
Great music venue with food and bar. Eastude version of Jazz Alley! Outstanding — will watch the artist roster and will go back.
Excellent place for a cocktail or beer & live music
Bake's Place is a great place to go for music, food, and fun. There isn't a bad seat in the house, and the sound is terrific. The food is moderately priced and very good. Beer and wine selections are excellent. This is a great place to go with a date or a group of friends.
The venue is beautiful and everyone can see the band. They stagger the seating which is a great idea to manage everyone coming in at the same time for the bands. But our waitress was still really slow to come back to our table. Twice we finally had to wave her over which I hate doing. The food was better than I expected for this type of venue. We'll definitely try it again and have a main course next time.
Excellent salmon and zucchini dish, on my 1st visit, The Side Project slayed...followed them there. I will go again soon for the food and music.
Service was excellent. Very limited choices for food and it took a very long time for the food to come (I had a salad). I believe we finished our 2nd drink before the food came. The band was great. I would go here again, just realize you’re not going for the food.
Phenomenal place. By far, one of my favorites!! The food is delicious and the service is great. Not to mention, LIVE MUSIC!! I highly recommend this wonderful place!!
great venue with good acoustic and a terrific Blues Band that gave a great show for a $15 cover charge. Our wait staff did a terrific job, but the food was not up to standard and needs a major revamping. I wish they'd charge more and give us better food. My trout was full of bones and though stuffed with rosmarry and lemon, had no taste. My wife had a pasta that wasn't bad, but the shirp was soft and mushy and not edible. I recommend for a show, but not for food at this time.
Bake’s is our go-to first Friday of the month! We love the menu, the service and the music.
We celebrated our anniversary on a Thursday. Shared three items (no main course). It was enough food and very good. Music was great; no cover. It was a lovely evening on the outdoor patio.
Would not go back for the food. But the drinks and music were wonderful. Maybe Happy Hour, a shared appetizer, with emphasis on drinks and music. Other than spending too much on just ok food, we really enjoyed ourselves.
Great live music, anywhere you sit is a good view of the stage. Food is not to my liking, too much fusion and unusual items, overpriced and very slow service. If you want to spend an enjoyable evening listening to vibrant music, this is the place to go on the eastside.
Good drinks and decent service. For whatever reason the food tonight was only soso.
If you love live music, great cocktails and good food, you will love Bake's Place. It is the best for a night out with friends to enjoy a great local band. The servers are all very nice and the bartenders know their stuff. Get in early and eat before the show so you can relax and enjoy the band.
To begin the reception clerk, hostess, was rude on our arrival. I had made a floor table reservation that day. She called and asked if we wanted to see the band, and have bar, counter or floor reservation? I said yes, we were coming to see the band, and I had ordered a floor table. When we arrived she took me upstairs to a table that had no view of the band or floor. I asked for something better. She took us down stairs and offered two counter seats on the end of crowded stool counter. One of the seats was facing the bar, starring at other patrons 2 feet away, and no view of the band. I said no we would wait for something better. So we sat at the second floor no view table. We waited and she never came back. The waiter served two tables that had arrived after we were seated. After 20 minutes I got up and tapped him on the shoulder. From then on he was responsive. The owners significant other was seating some of her friends. I asked her if we could get a better table. She said she would say something to "our" hostess. When our cheese platter came the crackers were stale. After 40 minutes a polite gentlemen, Chris, came to the table and offered us unobstructed counter seats. We enjoyed the show. This was all a surprise to me, I have been to this restaurant well over 10 times in the last five years. The owner has been nothing but charming and hospitable. Unfortunately he was working the sound system this time. I would suggest that if someone is coming to see the entertainment, and the only seats available do not have a view of the entertainment, that the hostess, whoever, tell the people making the reservation what is available. Give us a choice. But in this case they took our $56.00 cover charge and sat us in a, "get out of my way, sit down and shut up seats".
Food was terrible! Quality of the live entertainment was very good, but this is not a good place to go on a date because of the volume. This is a place to go for music and a drink, not dinner.
This restaurant is one of the few in Bellevue with live music. It is perfectly located with a large outdoor patio and great music sounds. The food is good and the wine list OK. Also has great indoor seating. Staff are very friendly and good service.
Bakes Place was everything that I've been looking for...I wish I'd found it years ago!!
Great great great music and phenomenal wait staff! The bartender was fantastic and took very good care of my wife and I. We'll be back ASAP, we're on the hunt for a good babysitter already!
never a bad gig and never a bad seat

Bake’s is our “go-to” special date place. We try to get there at least once every other month. The menu, service and ambiance are fantastic. The events are thoughtfully curated and the music is second to none.
Great food, great live entertainment. If you miss this place it’s your loss! I’m going back!
Best patio seating in Bellevue! This place is such a gem, for atmosphere and service! I wanted a “sweet” drink, and the manager came over, listened to my likes, and had the bartender create a drink that I loved! Attentive service like that is so rare these days!
I loved that we were able to enjoy the guitar performance on the patio and then, after dinner we still could see & hear the main attraction on the stage inside! Great concept!
There was way to loud music. They had a entry charge 20$ pp which they called cover charge but that does not include food drinks which we were not even told about. I requested outside seating but they made us sit inside although there was outdoor space available. Food was very costly with no veg options. We couldn’t even talk and hear each other because it was way too loud. So overall was okaysih. Not a great experience specially when going with friends.
Any night out with live music is a special occasion. Only thing that will make me cross the pond to Bellevue is Bake’s Place or my doctor.
Service slow, burger was over cooked. Great idea on the patio- music was good.
Pricy for the place.
Manager came by after being served, he took care of the burger issue- that was very commendable.
The staff seemed liked they were all kids not really knowing what to do. Good training is needed!
Overall dining in an open-air patio was great. As a starter we ordered fries. Took a long time to arrive. Guess they were just letting them cool because they were lukewarm when arriving. We sent them back and received a hot order quickly. The burger was just OK, while the prawns were very good.
The music was very good
We went to Bake's Place for a late afternoon birthday dinner for my mom (85 years young). The weather cooperated so we sat out on the patio, under a sun umbrella, with kind and attentive staff, dry sparkling rose, family-style appetizers and dinner plates (our family likes to share plates), and rich, smooth melodies from singer/songwriter, Kristen Palmer. It was a lovely experience. Highly recommend Bake's Place.
I love Bake’s Place! Such a relaxed friendly atmosphere! Our server added to that relaxed feeling. He was friendly and cheerful, yet also very attentive to our needs and did an excellent job. Sitting out on that lovely, private patio is such a treat on a summer evening. The July 4th “all you can eat” event was a great value for $50, (included cover charge) although they did run out of ribs, We had reservations, but they were meaningless for this type of event. Fortunately, they had plenty of other things to eat. The smashed potato salad was awesome! The best part of the evening was the music. Ventura Highway Revisited is a fantastic gtoup!
