   Great venue, decent food, great drinks, way too expensive for the experience. No dancing and we were listening to a funk band. Music volume was really low. If I’m spending $500 for four people, it should be better than average

   The Band Boy Toy was exceptional. The food was fantastic with decent prices. It was my second time there to see Boy Toy. I enjoyed every minute of both

   I like be Bale’s Place! The staff is friendly and professional, taking great care of my family and guests. It’s such a great venue, up close and personal, and the performers are top notch.

   Stopped by spontaneously for dinner and drinks. Usually select something from their amazing whiskey list and as we sat on the patio on a beautiful evening, we decided to have cocktails. I had the Bakes Barrel Aged Manhattan which was wonderful- and my husband had the Old Pal which he really enjoyed. For dinner we both had the king salmon special. The preparation was creative, light and delicious. The fish was cooked perfectly and served hot, hot, hot. It was so good and really well priced for wild king salmon. I couldn’t recommend it more. The service at Bake’s is always terrific- no matter how crowded the place is. Last night, there was a jazz band inside with a packed house, a Rotary club meeting in the quasi outside area and regular diners on the patio. We were on the patio and well cared for by the amazing wait staff. Bake’s was such a treat - again!!

   The menu wasn't really to our taste. The sound was overamplified. The music tends to tribute and cover bands, not original music artists.

    We had a wonderful meal @ Bake's Place last night. The food was delicious & the portions were huge. Also, the staff was attentive & friendly. The best part of the evening, however, was the entertainment. The Chicago Transit Experience performed a fantastic musical experience of Chicago. It brought us back to our high school years in a nonstop 90+ minute performance. Thanks to the entire band (vocals, horns, percussion, sax, & keyboard)! We haven't had this much fun in 20+ years.
