Bake’s is a great place for live music and amazing food. The ambiance is great and the service was exceptional. I will definitely come back here more often.
I was pleasantly surprised that there is such an amazingly beautiful dinner/entertainment experience nestled in the heart of Bellevue. Easy access off the freeway, lots of parking, affordable, friendly and fun!!! It was so nice not having to go into Seattle. Chris - one of the owners, was amazing and very accommodating at all times, food was delicious and the entertainment had us rocking all night! I would recommend to all! 10 out of 10!!!
Way over priced!!!
Great venu for music and the food was good. The service was really good too. Amanda was special.
Great place to see excellent live music and enjoy a great meal at the same time.
We were disappointed that the full menu is no longer available on a Saturday night. The abbreviated "show menu" choices are too limited (no scallops, duck, caesar salad), and most entrees either had chili peppers / chimichurri / curry in the ingredients, which not everyone can tolerate. Bring back the full menu please!
We went for the Whiskey tasting, which was good. Bakes had a representative from the featured distillery who provided the backstory to this new branded Whiskey and its parent company. We enjoyed the tasting, the information, and as always, the food and live music.
So happy to have found you. We enjoy Jazz Alley in Seattle but really don't like coming into the city so now we just have to go to Bellevue. Food and service were outstanding. We'll be back.
Amazing! Not crowded at all. Two Tone Blues featuring Tommy Wall were performing. They have a soulful and powerful voice and were playing their guitars phenomenally. The staff was very attentive. We enjoyed our evening here relaxing on our drinks, relishing the delicious small plates of food, and listening to outstanding blues music.
We've always had a great time at Bake's Place! When they said we were part of Bake's record crowds to see our great friends, Heart by Heart, and hang out with them after the second show...more icing on the Heart-shaped cake!!
We ❤️ Bake’s Place, however when we pay for a concert we want to listen to the music. Unfortunately other guests think that talking over the performers (really loudly) is okay. People, go to a coffee shop or bar to talk, not a music venue!!!!
Great place for a birthday party party. Good service, friendly staff!
Bring back Heart By Heart! Great dinner show! Food was great, service was great too.
Great place to hear music. Service was very good. Nice place! Will visit again!
Great dinner club venue, but I sure wish patrons would quiet down and pay attention when the entertainment starts.
The ambiance can't be beat, especially in the spring and summer when you can be outside on the patio. We love the live music and variety of talent they have in. The food is it and miss. Sometimes everything is amazing, and then there are certain nights that every one at the table is less that impressed (and we are generally very easy to please). The service has always been great. The manager, owners and wait staff are always very friendly and helpful. We really really like this place.
Al Nesbitt and Tor Dietrickson played when we were there and they were great!!! Excellent atmosphere, fun environment. The the sea bass was awesome.
Service was exceptional. Food was great. Nice cozy size venue. The music was awesome as was the volume of the music. We were still able to have conversations at the table while still enjoying the band.
Craig Baker band!
It was my second time here this time with four girlfriends for a birthday. I ordered the crispy garlic chicken again I had it the first time and it was so good. I'm also low carb person so I asked for no carrots I should have said no potatoes too but it was nice having the broccoli in the chicken is so good. All the girls at my table ended up ordering the same thing we loved it. The music was good we laughed a lot we had great service. Can't wait to come back.
Great show with a great band.. It would be awesome to have whoever is doing the band introduction to remind people to keep their table conversations to a minimum while the musicians are performing.. The table next to us didn't shut the hell up the whole show. They should've just stayed home.
band was awesome, food was killer. Great vibe at Bake's Place. We'll be back.
We had a blast. The food was excellent though expensive. The music provided by Doctor Funk was excellent and worth the cover charge. We truly had a good time. The service was adequate in that we were served quick enough though the waiter didn't come around often. Due to the high price of drinks, that was probably a good thing as the meal for two (burger & fries and salad for my wife) was over fifty bucks .. oh and one glass of wine and one drink too (house not brand) with tip over seventy bucks .. not something I'd do often but the food was excellent. So for a nice night out with minimal food and drink and great entertainment well over a hundred bucks. For many this is probably just fine. For my pocket book a little above my level but for a special occasion I'm sure it's worth it. Had we chose a 'real' meal and desert it likely would have been closer to a couple of hundred bucks, certainly not in my price range but for those who have deep pockets, I'm sure you'd enjoy Bake's. The only real complaint was the volume of chatter. My wife and I were unable to carry on a conversation. We texted each other ... :(. Still .. A fine night out.
great place for live music! staff is excellent and friendly, highly recommend!
Had a counter seat reserved for two. Due to a cancellation, we were seated front row center for the entertainment. Great band on Valentines Day! Food was exquisite as was the service.
The food was diversified and good. Service was kind of slow toward the middle of the evening and especially when trying to get a check--still didn't have one even after the music ended--had to run down the waiter. The music was excellent!
Great time! Even better music! Petty Fever was off the hook!!! Great venue in Bakes Place! We’ll definitely be back!
Had a wonderful time. Great cocktails, good food, fun music!
I had a really good time, I recommend taking your spouse here for a nice night out, good food, drinks and amazing live music. I will definitely be back!
My only complaint was it took 20 minutes in line even though I had a reservation & there were only two couples before me. Not great if standing for long periods is difficult.
We were there to see a band. When we go we typically have dinner before the show. On this night, there was a truncated show menu available which was a subset of the standard menu. We ordered appetizers, drinks, and entrees. The drinks were well made, the food not so much but it was consistent with our prior visits, average selection, average preparation. The service was inattentive at best, may have been a new person. My advice is go for the music and the booze, there are many better choices for food.
We saw Kalimba, The Spirit of Earth Wind and Fire and they were fantastic. The club is the perfect size—not a bad table in the place and the acoustics are good. Highly recommend.
Fun place with surprisingly good food. I am sure it varies by how crowded it is, but our service was excellent as well. We didn’t plan to stay for he music but are glad we did. We will be back! Had the flat iron steak and the duck, both were excellent.
Sophisticated ambiance, friendly and professional staff, GREAT entertainment
Amazing food and service. The staff are friendly, fun and efficient. Great place to see live music. One of my favorite places.
The food was fabulous: Brussels sprouts for an appetizer (shared) and Chilean sea bass for the main course. For dessert we shared a Grand Mariner creme brûlée. We went for the food, not knowing that it is a performance venue with a stage. We were dubious about the noise level as we wanted to talk and decided if there were too much noise, we would leave, but the duo that played that night played soft rock and it was lovely (Simon & Garfunkel, Beatles, etc.). We stayed for the whole first set. I would definitely come again!
Great music, excellent food, good service! They have live music and the singers are all great. I would recommend this place to everyone. Parking is free and not so crowded, unlike when you go to Seattle.
A wonderful night of good food and fabulous music!
Always a great evening to be had! I have been many times, never been disappointed. A gem on the east side for live music, great service and good food.
Great place to see some live music and have a nice dinner and drinks. Will continue to frequent Bakes Place.
