The black pudding paddies are unbeatable 😊. A must have if you like it.
The service was great - friendly and accommodating (they let us order from the kids menu for our toddlers even though that menu wasn’t available yet). We were there mid morning but it was empty, which was useful with young kids and for talking. The food was good. The goat and spinach omelette was ok but could have used more seasoning/flavor. The French toast was quite yummy. Others in our group enjoyed the fish and chips and the avocado toast.
Great place for afterwork drinks,
Has unique bar bites, quite on weekend
Which is nice- best dessert ever is the
Sticky pudding with caramel , to die for
Our two previous visits to Bailey were great. Our most recent was not. Server seemed to have a bit of an attitude. Food is good
We were all satisfied
The food was beyond average, the service was incompetent and the ambiance was non-existing. I will not be returning.
Had a lunch with clients and colleagues that was very good. There was no problem when our group was one more than our reservation.
Wir waren zu Thanksgiving zum Essen da. Super 3 Gänge Menü. Sehr lecker. Tolle Bar und Restaurant.
The place was empty but the waiter still messed up our order and failed to refill drinks. Food was way too slow coming out given the traffic at the restaurant. Was ridiculously overpriced for the quality as well. Would advise to stay away
I️t was lunch and the wait staff was quick to take our order, make recommendations and stop by to see if we needed anything else
I️ would recommend I️t to anyone looking for a quick and delicious business lunch.
On this Friday evening at 5 we encountered a boisterous Happy Hour, and were seated as far back in the restaurant as possible. The restaurant is adjacent to the Club Quarters Hotel, which made dinner after traveling, very handy. The limited menu offered great food.
Quick stop in for lunch after visiting world trade center . Party of 5 . Quiet Sunday afternoon. Food was good as a lunch spot . Nothing over the top but quality and good portions . Service was efficient but then restaurant was quiet as we were in rather late for lunch
Excellent fish and chips. Best ive had in NYC!
Our waitress was very attentive and made me feel special
From the giant picture or Brian Friel dominating the back wall to he brass and dark woods, the Bailey reminds me of some high street Dublin salon. Always a good meal.
One of the best burgers and hand-cut fries I have had in NYC. Nice selection of hard ciders. Great service!
Been here many times and service and food are always good. Sometimes can be a bit noisy. Great location for meetings near Wall Street.
We had a group of students and had made two reservations. When we arrived the hostess quickly put together a table for 10, and the excellent service continued from that point. The young people were from Russia and longed to try typical American food. The burger was a favorite choice and it was an excellent one. Fish and chips were crisp with the fish flaky; the french fries were perfect.
The setting with the bull and the aluminum panels was interesting. Table are not crammed together. Service is attentive and fairly fast given the number of people who were there.
We will definitely return. It is a great example of an "American" restaurant with a menu to match. I've had a lot of meals in the area and this was one of the best and relatively inexpensive.
Great food but noisy/loud.
Solid dishes at reasonable prices and attentive service make this a good lunch spot in the financial area.
Good Food. Excellent service and friendly staff. Very noisy!
Food and ambiance is nothing special, but had a nice business lunch here. Service was excellent.
Good salads and service. Food was prepared well. The seating is tight but the service makes up for that.
I went there for a business lunch and was very pleased. A good menu with a variety of choices, reasonably priced. Also, it was quiet enough that I could actually hear my colleague and hold a conversation - that's not as common as it should be.
Wonderful brunch at the Bailey! The full Irish was one of the best I have had.
Inventive menu at reasonable prices. The service was great-- it seemed like four people were waiting on me. I can't wait to go back.
A very pleasant bar/restaurant with friendly staff and food far better than one might expect in a bar/restaurant.
We have precious little time for a meal on a busy Monday and this spot is right around the corner. The waitress was very attentive and friendly and fast. The decor was modern and bright and inviting and the food yummy. We were in and out in under an hour.
Food was okay, definitely over priced. I'd skip this place for brunch or lunch. Maybe dinner is better?
It is by far my favorite restaurant in the FiDi. I'm a regular and the staff makes me feel totally at home. It's a truly wonderful place!
St. Paddy's Day lunch. Very good. Friendly. Fun atmosphere and music for the occasion.
The restaurant's website describes Smokies as a specialty of the chef and the on-line menu includes Smokies. But the dish was not listed on the menu at the restaurant. The other dish that persuaded us to come here for dinner is Cider Spiked Fish Pie. It too is listed on the on-line menu. But it was not on the menu at the restaurant. I think this is called "Bait and Switch". Don't believe their website.
Super fun place 😃
I host many business lunches here and have always been pleased. Never had a disappointment or bad experience. A bit expensive, but the atmosphere and food and service are always really good. Open and airy - tons of great windows - and a straightforward menu that leans Irish (of course) without sacrificing traditional burger and salad and fish options.
No complaints. Good food, service and atmosphere. I had a very good lunch at the Bailey.
We both had the French onion soup & club sandwich . Both were outstanding. Received excellent service... I would strongly recommend for a business lunch!
Great fish and chips, my guests really enjoyed his burger and her salad, loaded with bacon as she had asked. Attentive but unobtrusive wait service a real plus for a business lunch. Single malt scotch in the rocks a little light on the liquor.
Wonderful treatment s great gem in lower Manhattan. Must go!!!
Requested a quiet location for a business meeting, and they did a great job of placing us in an area w/o distractions.
I find the menu to be average, but The Bailey does a nice balancing act of value for business lunches. Other places are either too expensive or too casual.
This is a convenient, mid-priced option in the Financial District for business lunches. It hits all the bases, however it is not 'special' in any category. But it's certainly an affordable alternative to all the overpriced Steak Houses.
