Server was great! Food was perfect for everyone!! I got the crab and shrimp stack which came with mango and avocado. So good!!! Hadn't been here in awhile and realized how much we were missing out!!! Can't wait to go back!
The food was pretty good, however the wait time was not adequate for the order. They were not as busy to justify an hour wait.
I enjoyed the environment , very friendly .. a lot of fun for a birthday celebration
Service pretty crappy here, had to send my food back for an item change that the waitress failed to inform me about while I was ordering. You would think they would make my plate over? NOPE! They hardly scrapped the food off the plate and THEN put the new food on top of the old food that was still on the plate. The waitress brought it to me anyways and I told her to send it back to the kitchen because putting new food on top of old food was gross even after the plate was sent back. The service speed was super slow. Needless to say I surely did not eat there nor will I dine here any more. If they feel like their sloppy mistake was ok, then I can only imagine what actually goes on in that kitchen.
They waiter was wonderful, The only downside was the Greens weren't in season or undercooked as well as not seasoned well. The coleslaw was very dry other than that I had a wonderful time and my party was pleased
Short staffed for happyhour on a Friday at 4:30. Needed a table for 4. Hostess & server debated where to seat us. Overheard one say "that section has no server" hostess still sat us there and sure enough one poor server had us and people in another crowded section on the otherside of the place. She did her best, but she couldnt keep up. By the time we left, there was staff all over, but our poor gal had to keep running. We had to ask a waiter to take our bill to pay , he said he couldn't but "would find our server. Felt sorry for her and gave a good tip because it was not her fault.
Great food, not very busy for a Thur night which was great. Service was attentive and food came out quickly. My friend had the ribs which were plentiful and delicious. I had the seafood paella which I couldn’t finish...possibly because of the seafood chowder (yum) and conch fritter (nice dipping sauce) I had for appetizers! It was a great combo but no room for dessert.
I’ll be back!
We waited forever to get our food and then when it finally arrives they only brought 3 out of 4 meals we ordered then we waited and waited for a good while and they bring the last meal INCOMPLETE! Overall a very fustrating expierance
A series of issues. First of all they got my drink wrong and I waited another ten mins for the replacement. Then after we waited 20 mins my salmon dish came out with tilapia and then took 15 mins to replace so ruined the whole atmosphere of the meal. Was too hot when it came out as they had rushed it. They then offered a free single dessert and we chose key lime pie. You’d think that was an easy one - but took 20 mins, they then apologized as they were short staffed but the restaurant was not near full at all (lots of free tables). They seemed to be having a bad night.
My only issue is that they deep fried a lobster tail. It was nasty
Old old friend reunion
Everything was fantastic! It was my son's and girlfriends 30th bdays and it was all great! Thank you again!
I had a problem using their gift cards. I had 2 bonus cards and a gift card, The server came back and said he could only use one of the bonus cards but the problems was he used the one that expires 8-31-19 and gave me the one that exp in 9 days. He should have done that. I could have had my wife pay her own bill and I could use both. I confronted him and he said he could not reinstate the bonus card. I ask to talk with manager, who never came to the table. He took the crads and came back and gave me both bonus cards and said they took $10.00 off my bill aand that both bonus cards are good. It is hard for me to believe and look for a problem when if I come back bu the end of the month. I live on the Westside and don't get near there very often. The reason I bought the Gift cards was to force us to come there as we do like the place but it is so far away. I will never buy another card just for Bahama Breeze. Thanks for letting me vent!
Fun place on the weekend. Courteous and accurate service, drinks are phenomenal, great food selections that won't kill the wallet. Great place for date night!
Food is consistently very good at this restaurant
My wife and I had an early dinner and enjoyed it very much. Very prompt service. The mojitos were very refreshing.
I had the shrimp tacos and my wife had the salmon. Both came out in a timely manner at perfect temperature.
We will recommend the restaurant to friends and look forward to a return visit.
Love the fact that it feels like you are on vacation somewhere tropic.
Love the food, Austin was a charming and attentive waitress.
This is a favorite fun place for us to have a great meal with a bit of Bahamian flavor. I can never seem to get away from the Coconut Shrimp! Also the special beer they serve is delicious.
Tried this place for the first time with a group of four. Three of our group ordered soup or salad and the server asked each of us if we would like it brought out first. We all said yes. We waited an absurd amount of time for soup and salad and were surprised when someone brought out three out of four of our entrees. We asked what happened to our soup/salad as they were supposed to be first. He said he didn't know, he was just a runner. Our server came by a few minutes later and delivered our soup and salads. She looked at the entrees, but said nothing and just dropped off our food. Of course, the person that had not yet received an entree was also the person that did not get a soup or salad. So, she was left with no food while the rest of us had more than we wanted. After maybe another 10 minutes the server came by again and explained the missing fourth entree on a computer issue and said they could make it right away, if that was what we wanted. What other choice did we have. So, we waited and she eventually go her food. The food was definitely underwhelming. The place was just gross in general with many stained booths and loud, obnoxious people. Finally we were ready to leave, but it took our server close to 20 minutes to process checks for a small party. We eventually got her attention and go our check which then took entirely too long to process. When we received it, we noticed we were charged $4.99 for side salads, but should have only been $2.99. Needless to say, we weren't going to wait any longer and just took the additional money out of her already shrinking tip. Also, no apologies from the server from the confusion/mess and no offers for any discounts. Will not be trying this restaurant again.
The atmosphere was great family friend food was good my only complaint was the oxtails a tad bit salty but overall very good
We made a reservation for 2 people at 6:30 p.m. about 2-1/2 months in advance. When we arrived at 5:30 p.m., we were escorted to a table near the entrance in a heavily trafficked area. When we objected and asked for a booth by a window, we were given the disingenuous explanation that the manager had selected the table specifically for us. That would be a manager who is not interested in repeat customers! We finally got a booth, and our server Kenneth was very courteous and attentive. But the food was very ordinary and the drink "specials" were watery. My "Bahamarita" seemed to contain everything except tequila. But I should have known not to order a mixed drink at a chain restaurant. We are unlikely to return.
Delicious food and drinks -- great service -- good happy hours -- and atmosphere makes us feel like we're on vacation with the steel drum music and palm trees.
Had a great time. We love Bahama Breeze! Took friends with us and they had never been. Food was awesome. Drinks were so refreshing! Did not realize they had a happy hour . We did get there in time to take advantage of the drink and appetizers specials. Our waiter was Josh. He did a great job and we liked him a lot. Will be returning again this summer. This is about an hour drive from where we live.
Our waiter was excellent the food and service were very good but table behind us was so loud and it made for an unpleasant lunch.
Always a great visit at Bahama Breeze! Been coming here every year with my parents to mark their anniversary for the last decade, at least.
The staff are always beyond friendly, the food is always great and of course, Ma loves her Bahamarita. She was a bit disappointed to hear that the onion rings were off the menu, though.
Looking forward to the next visit!
Didn’t miss anything in 10 years. Probably won’t return.
Seems the staff was all new and not sure where anything was located or who was serving what table. Waiting staff unfamiliar with proper service techniques. Never had this experience here before. This was different.
Death in family
When it got busy toward the end of our meal it was alittle slow for service but the staff was extremely nice and polite and food was excellent.
The Breeze is one of regular stops when the guys meet for dinner. Almost always very good. We have had our server Matt before and he is quite good at his job.
Celebrated a work family birthday with lunch for seven. Great service, very attentive and we were out in one hour. Now about those onion rings. Put them back on the menu. Thank you for making this a memorable lunch.
Usually come here and have a great time with amazing food. This particular time I’m very disappointed. Food didn’t taste the same lacked flavor!! We had a large party and the server we had seemed flustered and forgetful.
Service was good and food was good. In/out in an hour which is great for a party of 5. Good to experience a nice dining experience after some recent hiccups at other restaurants.
There was one server who was extreme nasty! Not our primary server she was wonderful. However, he was overheard making a statement about “this is what they always do” because we were giving the wrong alcoholism beverage. The manager didnt seem to care about my complaint. Ruined my sons evening
My recent visit at Bahama Breeze on 5/24/2019 was most pleasureable. Good atmosphere, the staff accomodations were delightfully amazing to assure that My Event Celebration needs were met. Mostly all my Guest were pleased with their food orders. Thank You, Carmen
This restaurant has improved so much over the years. We came for my mother's birthday and she really enjoyed herself. The food was excellent! Desiree our server was outstanding. She was very knowledgeable and made great suggestions from drinks to the food.
very pleasant experience
food and beverage very nice
certainly will return in the near future
I really enjoyed the ambiance. The manager and the servers were great. I will certainly return.
Fantastic date night for my bride and I! This is one of our favorite restaurants because the food and atmosphere just always take us to the islands! Jerk chicken was amazing!!
