About
Fabulous meats prepared exceptionally well! Everyone in our party raved about it!
This was my second visit to Bacon Brothers and it did not disappoint. As soon as you walk in you can smell the great BBQ. The pimento cheese jar is a MUST. I already can't wait to go back!
Awesome service great drinks and food! Loved the decor too!
I have been Bacon Brothers several times and the experience has always been good. Usually great selection and great service. Based on this I invited our company President there for a business dinner. Unfortunately, our waiter was clearly new on the job. Everything he relayed to us concerning specials, beverages, etc. was read off of a piece of paper in his check booklet. At one point my colleague asked for a bourbon and ginger and the waiter asked him what kind of ginger he wanted. After some awkwardness he said he meant to ask what kind of bourbon my colleague wanted. When we finally ordered he had to come back to the table twice to tell us they were out of what some of us had ordered. I could go on but it was an overall poor experience. Luckily, our group was good spirited about the whole thing but definitely not what I had hoped particularly considering my goal to impress. Bacon Brothers has always been a bit pricey but the selection and service always made up for that. Just too many choices in the area for a mid to high end dining experience and will skip Bacon Brothers in the future.
We enjoyed the way traditional food offerings were prepared in creative ways. The Rueben with the house made corned beef was delicious as was the Knockwurst with carmelized onions.
Our party of three ate here on a Friday night, and we did have a reservation. We had a great server...well versed on the food and liquor menus. He even made bourbon recommendations to my husband concerning bottles not on the menu. Our food was very good but, just a word to the wise, if you wish to be able to order anything from the menu, don't get a late reservation. They were out of signature items which was a bummer. No one likes hearing that the best thing on the menu is gone! And, beware, check your order...when they do run out of something, they make substitutions without telling you and charge you full price.
We got the home-made hot dog with chili and cheese, really great. We carried out a charcuterie platter on the plane as they let us come in with our bags. The staff was great and we got a tee shirt.
Found this place passing through Greenville overnight.
Surprisingly hip joint fashioned into a strip mall storefront. Don't let the outside fool you. Big table family, and standard seating available, really cool hi finishes, kitchen line viewable, separate high quality custom cocktail bar and some seriously creative uptrend southern menu.
Shrimp grits in a smoked tomato adobo sauce, cor email fried catfish with a sweet chili relish over roasted poblano grits....light and very, very flavorful...
That's what I'm talking about.
Everything was wonderful. We all tried different dishes and each were great dishes. We will be back again.
Great place. Nice selection of beer on tap and unusual (but delicious) soft drinks. Yummy sandwiches. Maybe a bit pricey for sandwiches but overall a nice experience!
I had my eye on this place for a while, so when I was planning a weekend trip up to Greenville, I had to give it a try. We made reservations and our table was ready when we arrived. They do have the option for seating a community table if you didn't get a chance to make reservations. Our waitress was friendly very knowledgeable. The beer selection was good; not the most extensive list, but they had some things we haven't tried. We ordered the meat board with 5 meats and the 3-cheese board. It came with crostini and flaky crackers (these were AMAZING and tasted like giant Cheez-its), pickles, pickled onions, pickled peppers, olives, honey comb, and some spreads. I was a little disappointed in the quantity of each of these accompaniments, but they were still delicious. I enjoyed all the meat and cheese included on the board and I would order it again. To follow this, we each ordered a small plate: I had the grilled watermelon and prosciutto and he ordered the potater tots, which are pulled pork stuffed in tater tots. The potater tots were GREAT! They had a delicious barbecue sauce and crispy pork ears. The watermelon dish was unique, but also very good. It was a good, light dish to follow the meat and cheese board. Overall, I would definitely recommend Bacon Bros!
Loved it! Food was spectacular and service great. A casual vibe.
My boyfriend liked this place a lot.
Really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Our server was energetic and friendly! Great find for dinner! We will remember this restaurant when driving through Greenville in the future!
Like previous visits, we really enjoyed the food and the service at bacon brothers.
Would like to see a better menu with more choices. Good service and good atmosphere
The food and service was awful. I will never go there again.
Everything was delicious and our server was fun. Nice atmosphere and great drinks
Food was way overrated.
I LOVED the food at Bacon Bros. We came in from Atlanta to enjoy a weekend with friends and found the site online. We were thrilled with the food we got at the restaurant. I am gluten free and they had lots of options and were willing to make accommodations on things that weren't already a gluten free option. The devils rita, my cocktail, was awesome.. A must! I am usually a bourbon drinker but wanted to try something different. This place is a must do in Greenville.
Unfortunately it seems to be going downhill from a good start.
Fantastic food, service and people. Can not go wrong with any item on menu!
Restaurant came highly recommended but honestly fell flat on its face.
High cost for ok food. Perhaps if we got the ribs or pork we would have been more impressed. For the cost, much better options for far less closer to downtown.
Fantastic service and food! Can't go wrong with St. Louis style ribs! We were splitting a rack of ribs and our server brought it out already split and we ended up getting double the sides because he put the sides on both plates, and didn't charge us extra! Super!
Waiter didn't know much about menu he told us incorrect information about the beers on tap and the price of market price items.
Good food and great service. Thanks for an enjoyable evening.
Great lunch spot. Watch out for the bacon up-sell on pretty much everything. It's probably good added to whatever you're having if it's not already in it. A little pricey but it's also not your corner BBQ either.
Excellent food flavors!
Great restaurant, service and food just perfect. A wonderful place to meet friends or enjoy family get together.
Delish per usual....RIBS and older fashioneds for the W
Farm to table location. Great everything. The farm wasn't emphasized enough in the menu dishes but the concept is excellent.
Amazing dinner, great locally sourced and uniquely prepared meals!
This was our first visit to Bacon Bros and it did NOT disappointment. Our server (Grace) was very knowledgeable and personable.
Go for the duck!
Bacon Brothers has been one of our favorite restaurants in Greenville for over 3 years. We may be (ahem!) slightly older than most of its patrons -- so maybe that’s why the excellent wait staff remembers us even when it’s been a while since we’ve been there. Or maybe it’s because my husband eats the exact same thing every time he comes and I am determined to try everything on the menu -- which I’ll never be able to do because they change it up regularly and offer specials that are hard to pass up.
The kale salad on the current menu made me very happy, loved the flavor combination of pumpernickel “crumbs,” tomme (cheese), rampy green goddess goodness and some of the freshest tasting olives I’ve ever enjoyed. The menu called them “castelvetrano.” I may forget the name, but I won’t forget how delicious they were.
Thought this meal couldn’t get much better and then I tried the rabbit wrapped with paper-thin country ham along with potato gnocchi, sugar snap peas, itty bitty multi-colored carrots and more of those green olives. The oh-so tender rabbit practically melted in my mouth and it was smoked just the right amount.
Beer is usually my beverage of choice at Bacon Brothers, but this meal seemed more wine-friendly so I opted for "The Immortal Zin" from Lodi, CA. It was a fitting accompaniment to a meal that was so enjoyable I wanted it to last forever. Alas, it wasn’t long until I found both my plate and my glass empty... and when I got up my creaky bones reminded me I probably am not immortal either. But thanks to the Bacon Brothers “app”and their generous rewards program we have plenty of reasons to get up and go -- regularly -- to Bacon Brothers.
Unique menu options and amazing meats. A little pricey, but well worth it. Service was excellent.
Our first time in Bacon Bros., and we weren't disappointed. Think casual, southern, BBQ, with a Cajun influence. If you like bland, this isn't your place. If you like a creative, spicy blend of flavors and local sourcing, you will be delighted. Great service.
We had a wonderful time!
We had a fantastic experience! Everything was great!
