Baci Restaurant - San Diego
Baci is my favorite Igalian Restaurant
Excellent service, delicious food and perfect ambiance. I highly recommend Baci.
I wish I could give Baci's a 6-star review! It's an extremely nice restaurant with great service and high quality food. We are always greeted with a warm welcome. This is BY FAR my favorite restaurant in San Diego. Attention to detail and always willing to please. It really is old school fine dinning. We had limoncellos (an Italian lemon liqueur) to start. Nobody makes limoncellos like they do at Baci! We had the Caesar salad and the Hearts of Palm salad. We also ordered Penne con Melanzane and the Linguine alle Vongole. Everything was oh so yummy! I highly recommend.
The service at Baci is amazing. Best in San Diego, and at a world class level.
Our meals, service & booth were all outstanding as usual!!!! We will be back soon!!
But, it’s a GREAT place to go on ANY occasion!
It was wonderful until a large group came in and thought they were home in their living room. We had to move. This ruined the experience. The food was excellent. I had the pasta special and the other 3 had fish.
Best food, service, ambiance
Amazing food and service! We ordered the specials, and they were all exceptional. We will definitely return on our next trip to SD
Always a great evening.
Burrata appetizer and chocolate gelato desert were excellent.
My wife's branzino (whole fish) was also excellent.
On the other hand, my swordfish was tasty but a bit dry; I've had better.
Service was very good to excellent given that it was New Years Eve,
and, not surprisingly, the noise level was a bit high.
The wine, a domestic SavBlanc, was also very good.
Baci is still my favorite restaurant in San Diego. It’s not just a place to eat, it’s an entire experience. Consistent, romantic and memorable. I always look forward to my next reservation <3.
From the bartender (the best) to the waiter to the food I love everything about this restaurant! My salmon was delicious and my husband pasta was wonderful.
Everything is delicious!!! The best pasta scampi with lobster sauce.
From a warm welcome to a heartfelt goodbye, the whole meal experience was great. Easy parking, and reservation, we were greated in italian please! We were invited to have a glass at the bar, and as the table was ready, we could get seated pretty quickly. The menu has a very nice selection of dishes, and the wine list is very nice. Do not forget to ask your server what specialties are available (some are not on the menu).
We loved the food, and the service. It has its price, but believe us, we have been around the globe, and this place delivers italian cuisine, and we simply loved it!
Very nice restaurant owned and ran by Italian family. The service is wonderful and the food is delicious we drive 30 miles to dine there as aften as we can. Our favorite Italian place. The swordfish is the best I have ever had! But everything is delicious!!
Six of us enjoyed a great dinner at Baci enjoying some great appetizers including Mussels and a tasty salad, burata and prosciutto and nicely prepared entrees including scampi in lobster sauce over linguini and veal parmigiana. It was a delicious dinner with excellent service!
The waiter and support staff were excellent constantly anticipating our needs and interacting appropriately. 2 appetizers, 6 different entree’s , wine and 3 desserts all delicious.
We had a lovely booth in the back room. We were celebrating our friends birthday. I had the sole which was to die for. Others had Chilean sea bass. Martinis were perfect. Service was first class. Baci now has valet parking- beautiful evening.
Wonderful service and delicious food!! Very much enjoyed the ambiance as well, great for dates or special occasions
We consider Baci to be the Italian Restaurant, by far, in San Diego!
Always great. Good food, good people, good service.
Fantastic place with great people and great food. Tony a gentleman. Love the bar in and of itself. Dining room great. Swordfish to die for.
We had a wonderful meal at Baci and will definitely visit again. The only thing I can say we were dissatisfied with was the young lady in the party next to us that didn’t keep her voice level down because she obviously had too much to drink. It would be nice if larger groups or parties are seated in the back areas so the noise level in the front remains low and intimate.
Stellar service and food!!
Attentive service food was amazing hands down favorite San Diego restaurant
Baci is always the best! The quality of the food is outstanding and is only eclipsed by the service, which is always tremendous! I keep returning and am never, ever disappointed.
Everything on the menu is exceptional!
The service was five star! We celebrated my ladies birthday and our wedding engagement. The food was delicious!
Great authentic italian, old school waiters, wonderful service! The food was so good snd the gelato with espresso was a real treat! Highly recommend this place!
Very good but over priced
Food absolutely first class.
Prices a touch high and dining room a bit old fashioned
Definitely recommend overall. Delicious!!
El mejor restaurante!
Overall great meal.
Everything was fantastic, except the foul loudmouth douchebag at the next table, but that's not Baci's fault. :)
It’s the best place yo celebrate your birthday!! The service is outstanding, the food is superior snd their Tiramisu is the best in town!!!
Have never had a bad meal there. They will make whatever you want. I ordered chicken piccata that is not on the menu. It was amazing!
First time to eat at the restaurant. We loved our meal. Service was exceptional. It was more expensive than anticipated but would go again for a special occasion. Wonderful evening!
We were Visiting San Diego for the day and read the good reviews. We made a 715 reservations and we're taking right in. The waiter was fabulous, and we took his recommendations for the meal which is quite good. Unfortunately I took his recommendations for the wine. The wine was quite Young, and really not ready to drink. To their credit, the wine sommelier did agree, but did nothing to make it right because I made a mistake of telling them we were from out of town. It is an old style Italian restaurant near Mission Bay. If you decide to go, bring your own wine or be much more selective about the recommendations.
