We had the most wonderful dinner at Baci tonight!! Service was so professional and the food was amazing!
We shared the Cioppino and it was the best we’ve ever had.
The chef uses saffron in this version and it makes the broth so flavorful and delicious. The seafood was so fresh and the dish is served with hearty slices of garlic bread to soak up the broth....just perfect.
Lizbeth, the owner and host was very welcoming and made us feel like we were enjoying a meal in her home. And the chef and owner, Shari was happily chatting with his guests when he was not creating all these wonderful dishes.
This is our first time at Baci but certainly not our last!
We intend on becoming regulars at this great foodie
Food was excellent, service superb, drinks never empty. A+ in my book.
First time to this restaurant while visiting Healdsburg. Great menu both authentic and creative Italian-driven cuisine. Service was top notch. Very lively dinner atmosphere, so it's a bit quieter if you sit below the lowered ceiling area against the wall. Check this place out.
First time of finally eating at Baci! I have been missing out for years! So glad I finally made it in. The food is fantastic. Al Forno was absolutely amazing. Good wine list! Our server was fun, informative. We had an awesome experience. Found ourselves hanging out finishing our wine and talking for quite a while after our meal. Our server also remembered that we were celebrating a birthday and they brought out a Tiramisu with a candle in it!
As always, Lisbeth and Shari presented a wonderfully seasonal menu . A new specialty was a sirloin strip steak with fries and vegetables . Shari explained he chooses specialties based on what he would like to eat. He was thinking of the places in Paris that slice an entrecôte of beef, cook it to order, serve it with fries. That’s the only item they sell and when they run out it’s done. The steak was even better than the story! Paired with a Lambert Bridge Cabernet, it was an ideal meal. Again.
Returning for the third evening dinner.
The food was great and the service was exceptional
Always amazing but super loud. Hard to have a conversation.
Fantastic, as always. Food, ambiance, service were all top notch. Can't wait to go back. What else can I say.
Waitress and overall service was great - everyone enjoyed their food. Dessert was fantastic
Hmmmm . . . where do I start ?! We were hoping to love Baci, due to all of the stellar reviews. Long story short, it was good . . . but not great. Might be that I know too much, being raised in an Italian family!!! Service couldn’t have been any better, although the ambience was very generic. Another reviewer, a couple of reviews down from this review nailed it with saying LoCoco’s in Santa Rosa is one of the better Italian restaurants in the North Bay.
Baci is the very best place to eat that I know of. Love the food and the people.
Great food and service. Just wish they updated the decor a little.
The Somalia was amazing and the food was out of this world good Italian. Highly recommend
We had 8 in our party and the folks at Baci put us in our own room (the wine room) and it was fantastic!!! Everyone agreed that the food was fabulous and the staff was great. We will definitely go back again the next time we are in town!!!!!
We go often and always enjoy Baci! The salads are creative, the entrees delicious and they have Panna Cotta!
Always fantastic food. Warm and friendly owners and staff! Will be coming back as often as we can!
This is a highly overrated restaurant. The service felt rushed and the food was just very plain and ordinary. French onion soup with no cheese. Really? Not a very good appetizer salad. The veal piccata was paper thin, not much of it, and the sauce was incredibly bland. Fruit tart desert was not warm and very average, profiteroles were frozen. For an excellent Italian dinner at a fraction of the cost, go to LoCoco’s in downtown Santa Rosa. You’ll be glad you did!
Incredible experience and food! Fun, helpful staff. Love the vibe! New favorite;)
I have been to Baci Cafe & Wine Bar twice now and it does not disappoint! New favorite restaurant. Fabulous food, menu choices, wine list and great service.
Perfect score. Just love this place! We love Italy and this place takes us there right here in Healdsburg. Marco is a fantastic server as well.
Best Italian restaurant in Healdsburg! Great food, wine and the service is outstanding. Celebrated my birthday and Baci made it so special. Place is always packed so be sure to book reservation . Waiters are great, friendly , fun and know all the dishes so ask for suggestions. Beet salad and pasta was excellent ! Seafood Cioppino was amazing , sauce was delicious ! You can watch Chef Shari cook from open kitchen with brick oven. He and his wife are very personable and take time to talk to guests. Can’t wait to go back🍷💋
Great place for Italian food. Incredible selection of food. One of the best Italian menues.
Almost didn’t go here because of mixed reviews. So glad we did. Food was excellent and the staff was friendly and efficient. They really added to the overall fun of the evening. We didn’t really find it pricier than other, similar restaurants in Healdsburg.
We will definitely make this one of our go to places.
We were slightly deterred by the hostess who let us know that had it been a Friday or Saturday, our reservation would have been canceled while there were many tables remaining, but I'm glad we stayed! The food was phenomenal and when we received the bill, we realized it was at an incredible price point as well. I highly recommend enjoying a pasta. The dishes we had were thoughtful, flavorful and craveable!
Such amazing food!! Can’t wait to go back because there were so many things we wanted to try. Fine dining, yet family friendly. While there is no kids menu, they’ll make you simple noodles or a plain cheese pizza (different than the margherita that’s on the menu) for the kiddos, just ask. And rather than being snooty about bringing small kids to a nice restaurant, they welcomed them and made them and made them feel special.
Great food, service and fun place
Selected the restaurant from Trip Advisor and we were not disappointed. Great Italian food, large portions, and attentive service.
So noisy we couldn’t have a conversation. Wood fire pizza wasn’t as crisp as we expected.
Baci has some of the best Italian food in all of Sonoma County. Chef really knows what he's doing!
Two of our party ordered to Al Forno on the special. It was not as described on the menu. The pasta seemed absent, the crab very scarce (tasted only), didn't taste the pancetta and a hint of leeks. All was overwhelmed by a huge glob of mozzarella. One of the party are less than half and the other one who ordered it, seasoned the heck out of it. Had either remembered the menu description, the would have sent it back.
Especially disappointing as we brought guests from Michigan to Baci where we had enjoyed dining before. Probably will not return.
Loved it and would recommend Baci Cafe and wine bar to everyone .
The food was amazing, and the wine list impressive. Unfortunately, the noise level made even a basic conversation difficult. Baci is a wonderful culinary experience!
Have had several meals now here over different occasions and all have been very good to outstanding. The owners are present and working and there are so many staff that but much gets missed. I
My wife and I were visiting wine country and looking for a place to have dinner that had some gluten-free options. Anytime my wife finds an Italian place with gluten-free pasta we have to give it a try.
We showed up 10-15 minutes prior to our reservation and were promptly seated. Even though it was a very busy Saturday evening, our drink and food orders were taken in a reasonable amount of time. And the wait staff made sure the entrees were not brought out until the salad and appetizer plates had been cleared, lots of places just bring out the food as soon as it is ready and this is a HUGE pet-peeve of mine.
Food was awesome. We shared a pear-Gorgonzola salad (Insalata di Lattuga con Gorgonzola) served family-style, this could be a meal for one person by itself. For the entree I had the spaghetti alla bolognese while my wife had gluten-free pasta con Salsiccia. After I finished my pasta and what my wife couldn't finish of hers, Drea told my wife they had a decadent chocolate cake for desert that was made without flour. While it was more like a dense brownie drizzled with chocolate sauce, it too was off the charts amazing.
Chef Shari came by our table near the end of the meal and my wife told him she had never tried a better gluten-free pasta. Ten minutes later he left us with a cooking lesson for making the perfect pasta as well as a bag of the gluten-free pasta (made by Garofalo) they order in from Italy which my wife has already found (and ordered) on Amazon.
We are members of a few wineries in the area that keep us coming back to the Healdsburg area a couple times a year and we have now added Baci Cafe & Wine Bar to the list of must-do items every time we come to town. I am really looking forward to trying the Puttanesca.
The food was wonderful, friends recommended Osso Boco and it did not disappoint us. The Best!
Great Wine - Rafanelli Zin is hard to beat.
We will be back!
We are well acquainted with Baci which is why we choose it for our Valentine's dinner. We had an early reservation which was perfect because we were headed to a playoff basketball game next. Owners were pleasant as always, and the service staff was excellent. I had mahi mahi
and my husband had rigatoni with meat sauce. Both were very tasty. The best was the panna cotta with berries for dessert.
This place is just fantastic. They take pride in what they do and it shows.
Our favorite restaurant in Healdsburg. Always greeted with a hug and made to feel like family. Menu is eclectic but not stuffy. The fish special and chicken were cooked and seasoned perfectly
3rd year running taking my gf here and we love the place! The ossobuco is fantastic
