Baci Cafe & Wine Bar - Healdsburg
Baci's wine list is thoughtful and well-priced, and features many small artisan wineries. Baci's menu is creative and offers a large selection of dishes. It's focus and commitment to local fresh seasonal ingredients has made it one of our Sonoma County favorites.
Amazing lamb ravioli and seasonal peach salad. The owner and servers are very hospitable!
I was born and raised in West Sonoma County and this is by far one of our very favorite places. We have never had a bad meal at Baci. We even named one of our dogs "Baci" because we love it so much. Highly recommend!
Baci exceeded our expectations - food was fantastic, service was attentive and prompt. Noise was more than we prefer, but we expected this and we managed - very happily!
Excellent gluten-free options! They had an apricot/burrata/balsamic reduction special that was an amazing starter and my risotto frutti di mare was fantastic!
They really treat people well and like they are family.
The whole staff is friendly. They make you feel like you are a regular. Shari, the owner and chef, visits with all his guests, which makes a difference. The food is always excellent. Love the peaches in summer and the rack of lamb in the winter.
Food was fantastic!!! Our server was as well although her name escapes me. Sorry!!! Fortunately, our party of 6 was seated in the “wine room”. We were by ourselves except for the occasional server retrieving a bottle of wine. It was great because on the other side of the door was the dining room and it was loud. It was a Saturday night and busy for sure. I would highly recommend this place.
We thought the food was excellent and the service was superb. It was a Friday night, around 8 PM, and the noise level was incredible. It was so loud that my wife had to remove her hearing aids because of the pain. That meant we couldn't converse over dinner.
Ate at the bar because the house was full. Great service from the bartender and the food was excellent!
I'd have given Baci five stars across the board, except that it was just too noisy. (I believe OpenTable refers to it as "energetic." This was beyond energetic. this was closer to hyperactive.) I realize it was Friday night, prime time, but my wife and I had to lean across the table to hear one another. Other than that, the food was excellent and well-presented. The wait staff was excellent, too, and cheerful (I hate grumpy servers).
A real treat was Baci's sommelier. I can't believe that at my age (let's just say that I know what a rotary dial phone is) I've never before eaten at a restaurant with a sommelier. He was helpful and provided a range of options for the meals we'd ordered. Another huge advantage of having a sommelier is that's all they do. They don't have to stop at other tables, grab food from the kitchen, etc., before fetching a bottle of wine. We decided on a bottle and he was back with it in 90 seconds.
Bottom line: Yes, we'd eat here again without hesitation...unless it was a Friday night, then we'd try to time our visit to avoid the most crowded time.
Food was fabulous. There were 6 of us, and we each ordered something different. Dia said the halibut was the best she ever had. Andrea loved the short ribs. And the chicken parm was huge and wonderful.
Fabulous food and service. Love this place.
We started our 10th anniversary week with a Sunday dinner at Baci. This place never disappoints. The food is always amazing and the service impeccable.
We always have a great experience here. The food is excellent and the service is consistently kind, helpful and attentive. We will definitely go back again and again!
Baci Cafe is a favorite of ours to go to. Everyone remembers you if you're a local and thanks you for supporting their business. Staff is friendly and it's a great, happening vibe. The food is delicious and the quality is consistent every time we've eaten here.
Always a great experience. We just keep coming back!
Outstanding evening. Food was wonderful and wine service as good as I’ve ever had.
Friendly faces,, service great,, never felt rushed,, very personable and friendly owners,,
the special night we were looking for in Sonoma Vallery
Gourmet food at a very reasonable price for a varied menu. A nice wine offering without breaking the travel budget.
Food and wine were very good. However the noise level was far to high to hold any type of conversation.
Baci was exceptional throughout. The food, timing, wine, everything was spot on. The gentlemen making pizzas came over to speak to us even though we didn’t order pizzas! Lol someone noted it was the owner. Would go again in a heartbeat if our vacation didn’t end.
A thoroughly enjoyable meal, excellent food, excellent service. Frank was awesome.
Our waitress, Karen, was attentive and very personable. The food was outstanding! Hated to leave but we were so full! Will definitely go again!
We were celebrating two 50th birthdays. Baci was wonderful with service and food!
Fabulous as usual!!
Delicious food. Risotto, raviolis and gnocchi. All very good. Will definitely return.
Good experience overall, Vegetarian main dishes were lacking but everything else was great.
We loved our meal here! We are coming back as soon as possible
Baci is a restaurant that not only has great food and wine, but the service is also fabulous. A lot of locals go there so that tells you it is good. The wine list is excellent with a wide variety of CA wines. All the pastas are homemade and delicious. Highly recommend
Love the bar seating! Shari and Lizbeth are such wonderful hosts. They have an all star team of servers and wine curators.
Great food and service. Never disappointed. We love that Shari comes out to talk to everyone. The food is always outstanding.
Baci is our favorite place to go for everyday dining as well as special occasion. The staff is always professional and extremely friendly. The food is amazing with great seasonal specials. Chef Shari takes the time to visit each table and great his guests whenever possible. We have been going to Baci for years and have always had a wonderful time.
Had a delightful dinner here for 2 people. Very warm reception, excellent service and delicious food. Fresh peach and buratta Dali’s, the best. Will return when we are in Healdsburg again.
I really wanted to love this place. The service was incredible and the location is awesome but the food was very bland unfortunately. Maybe we were just on an off night. The other thing that bothered us was we paid $36 for 2 Caesar salads which were literally Romain lettuce, Parmesan cheese and croutons. I could’ve bought the same at the grocery store for $5. Again the service makes me want to give it 5 stars but the food was unimpressive for the price.
Fabulous food and our server was fun and friendly even though he was super busy. Definitely try this place!
Birthday ! We reserved the wine room and had the most wonderful time. The service was amazing. The food was awesome! Which made the evening very special!
Freshly-made pappardelle topped with the most amazing Bolognese. Nuff said.
I'm celiac, so it's hard to find a restaurant that caters to that type of restriction. The gluten free bolognese pasta was AMAZING! It didn't event taste gluten free. I had mentioned it was date night and they put us at a very cute heart-shaped table. The waitress was very kind and helpful - overall fantastic experience . The only suggestion I have is to offer gluten free bread. :-)
Loud, busy, excellent service, pasta was below its usual quality.
