Baci’s specializes in catering! We specialize in drop off and full service catering. Please contact us to discuss your catering theme and we will be happy to plan your event. We require a minimum order of $100 for catering. Catering prices mostly based on entree size portions. Pricing will be lower in many cases if ordering is made in the form of platters and chaffers. For example, our pasta and salads are priced as entrees. We can cut both prices per person if you order on platters and chaffers because each plated food portion would be less than ordering Ala carte.
Plenty of safe street parking within on block of our restaurant.
Plenty of taxi service and we can arrange larger professional shuttle buses locally for drop off and pick up.

Baci Bistro and Bar Ratings and Reviews
Everything was fine, but we were left with the impression that things were on auto-pilot. Water glasses were left empty until we asked, the crab cakes were very nice, but plated with far too much mayonnaise.
A robotic ambiance -- nothing was wrong -- yet nothing was right.
My friend and I ordered the Greek salad. I think it was missing several of the ingredients that were described in the menu..... blistered vegetables, aged balsamic, red onion, cucumber, tomato, were missing or if they were present they were so small or so few that we did not see or taste them. The atmosphere was great though for two friends that had not seen each other for months. The wait staff was attentive and did not try to rush us.
Baci never disappoints, and this time was no different! They had two specials on the menu (lamb shank and beef stroganoff) - my friend and I ordered both and they were fantastic! Not to mention the dessert (fresh pastry) and the Pinot! Just to make the experience even more perfect, our server, who I've seen every time I've been there, was very attentive and helpful. LOVE BACI!!!
Food was great and waiter recommendations were on point. Service was fast, we were there closer to closing time so it was not very busy, and the service was great. Ample wine selection and average beer options. I had something similar to a Blackened Chicken Florentine but with red peppers that was really good, and the Bolognese was good as well.
Overall, really good meal.
Enjoyed a wonderful meal with out of town guests the last evening before their departure. They were very impressed with the flexibility of the restaurant and staff to make several modifications to their meal. The food was really outstanding - all four of us had something different from the menu and they were all really delicious. We also enjoyed a nice bottle of wine and dessert. It was a return visit to Baci for me and my husband and we commented that it was really the best food we've had from our previous visits. We will definitely be back!
We arrived late in the evening and the restaurant graciously welcomed us and made us feel comfortable. Our bottle of Zin was priced reasonably and the service was excellent. I ordered nut encrusted Sea Bass and it was excellent. The Scampi and the Rockfish were only fair but the ambiance was very nice. I would recommend Baci's.
LOVE Baci Cafe! Right at the corner of Main Street and Neil Street in downtown Pleasanton, this is a wonderful spot, especially in good weather for outdoor dining. The food was wonderful, the server was very attentive, and we enjoyed visiting and the lovely Outdoor seating area. One of my favorite restaurants in Pleasanton!
I was meeting a friend for a business/friends night out dinner. I had requested a table that was in a cool area inside the restaurant because many seats are by the window & it was 105 outside. When I arrived I was greeted at the door and seated immediately at an awesome table that allowed us to see outside but was protected by a sun shade. As the sun set the shade was raised and we could people watch along Main Street. The drinks were good...I like a dry Grey Goose martini, up with a twist. It was perfect. Bread was delicious. I ordered the filet mignon...medium. It was slightly over cooked for my taste but was still pink in the middle and was tasty. There was a big group of people at a long table when we arrived so was quite noisy but got more pleasant when they left. We were never rushed and the service was wonderful.
All in all it was a great experience close to home.
We were there for a friend's birthday, and everything was great except the air conditioner wasn't working very good, and it was a very hot day! We were right by the thermostat, and it got to about 84 degrees in the restaurant. That was way too warm for as many people that were in there. I felt bad for the staff. I'm hoping that's not a normal thing with the air conditioner. If it is, they need to fix that! Otherwise, we had a fun time!
Excellent Italian! Was looking for a restaurant out of my area, and heard from friends that main street in Pleasanton had some gems. Came early to Happy Hour, and enjoyed the unique cocktails. Great date night! Candles, quiet ambiance, good wine and amazing pasta. Will definitely return, as we had a hard time deciding and want to try more things on the menu.
Took my wife and two kids to a Mother's Day dinner. Waitress did not come to the table for 20 minutes, she was rude, and when our food finally came she forgot who had ordered what (difficult to do with just two adults). She did not bring water even though we asked on multiple occasions, did not refresh the bread, did not check back at all after dinner. She was able to find the time, however, to check back on our payment on multiple occasions. Funny how that works. The bill for this incredible experience was over $200 for 2 adults and 2 kids - I will NEVER come back to this place, and I strongly suggest you do not either. Better experience at McDonald's.
Very good food! Understand it was Mother's Day so a busy day for sure, but with a reservation made 2 + weeks in advance a little annoyed we were put at a table in the corner that made for a very cramped dining experience (not what you want when paying $100+ for a meal for a special occasion)
Our waiter was wonderful and when a cocktail wasn't quite right, re-did it so it was perfect.
The music was also a little loud (though that could be because the corner we were cramped in was also nearer the speaker)
Great food, but the service was lacking. Had to wait over 30 minutes for food to arrive after we placed our order and the restaurant wasn't full. Server never came back to see how we like our food nor he offer to pour any more wine from the bottle we brought. Had to ask someone else for our check. Our server, Ignacio, needs better training. He seemed to be more interested in larger parties than our two person table.
The service was top-notch. We were well taken care of, which was perfect as we were celebrating a special occasion. But I would say the food was just okay. I ordered fish piccata and expected piccata. There were capers but no piccata sauce. In fact, the fish was dry and sitting over mashed potatoes for more blandness. The Caprese salad for appetizer was excellent. I also ordered a beet salad and expected it to be mainly beets. Instead it was a green salad that had 3 pieces of beets. Disappointed again. Not sure I would return for the food again, but the service was perfect!
My sisters and I got together at Baci to celebrate my birthday. It was the first time any of us had been there. The food was excellent - we each had a different dish. The service was terrific, and they had a nice wine list. All in all, I would highly recommend this restaurant to other diners, and will certainly be back myself.
