Baci’s specializes in catering! We specialize in drop off and full service catering. Please contact us to discuss your catering theme and we will be happy to plan your event. We require a minimum order of $100 for catering. Catering prices mostly based on entree size portions. Pricing will be lower in many cases if ordering is made in the form of platters and chaffers. For example, our pasta and salads are priced as entrees. We can cut both prices per person if you order on platters and chaffers because each plated food portion would be less than ordering Ala carte.
Plenty of safe street parking within on block of our restaurant.
Plenty of taxi service and we can arrange larger professional shuttle buses locally for drop off and pick up.

Baci Bistro and Bar Ratings and Reviews
Surprised my wife to dinner tonight for Valentine’s Day. We are locals and eat in several downtown Pleasanton restaurants.
Our dinner was going well until one of the servers spilled a hot cioppino soup on my brand new Erodi Pisano jacket and pants.
I know that accidents happen, but I was expecting someone to just say the word—“sorry.” The server did not apologize. He just said, “don’t worry, we will pay for dry cleaning.”
This was very disappointing as now I have to take my jacket to the cleaners and also totally ruined our Valentine’s evening. For this, I will not come back to Baci. I was not expecting for them to comp or discount my meal. All I wanted was an apology.
We made an early reservation to avoid the expected crowd for Valentine's day. We had to wait for almost 30 minutes before we were seated. Other than that initial annoyance, everything went smoothly. The menu had a good variety of choices, the service was professional and friendly and the quality of food and portions were very good.
My wife and I had a pre-valentine dinner here. The food was excellent. The lobster ravioli was very good and the steak was just as good. You could not ask for better service and the restaurant was romantically lit. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to all my friends.
I got together with some friends and this place was halfway in between us. The wine pour was generous and the appetizer was tasty. Loved the crusty bread. I ordered Chicken Milano. It was very tasty! It was a nice portion. I ended up taking some home. My friends stated that they liked their meals as well. We ordered dessert and had the almond tart with gelato. Nice tart and the gelato was yummy. Overall, a great meal!
Front door host was dressed as if he were about to go out and wash his car. Somewhat disappointing for an otherwise classy restaurant.
First table they gave us was wobbly and unstable. They moved us to another which was OK.
Our server was nicely dressed, pleasant, and efficient. Ambiance quiet & comfortable.
Food was excellent. Presentation was great. Flavor was delicious.
We'd go back there any time.
I had family coming from far away and wanted to treat them to a nice Christmas experience at Baci! I asked for a window seat. We did NOT get one!
We were seated by the Christmas tree. The tree kept hitting the back of our heads. Having made a reservation I expected a much nicer table and one by
the window!! The service was not very good. They were busy, but being the Christmas season , the management should have staffed much better.
Our food took a long time to receive, at least 45 minutes maybe longer. Two of us had a BLT sandwich. One had a hamburger and one had pasta.
The hamburger was over-cooked. They asked for medium and it was well well done!! The person who had the pasta did not like and they received a very
small portion. The Sandwiches were good but the French fries were soggy. I have eaten at Baci’s before and had very good food and excellent service.
I will try this restaurant again, but never on a holiday and during the Christmas season.
Baci is a reliable spot for good Italian food. They have expanded their menu--there are now more meat and fish options in addition to the excellent pasta. Dessert was also excellent. My wife and I had three courses. My rack of lamb was perfectly cooked. The only minor disappointment was the soup of the day--chicken noodle--did not sound interesting. We had salads. Baci is energetic without being loud and elegant without being snooty. I highly recommend it.
Everything was fine, but we were left with the impression that things were on auto-pilot. Water glasses were left empty until we asked, the crab cakes were very nice, but plated with far too much mayonnaise.
A robotic ambiance -- nothing was wrong -- yet nothing was right.
My friend and I ordered the Greek salad. I think it was missing several of the ingredients that were described in the menu..... blistered vegetables, aged balsamic, red onion, cucumber, tomato, were missing or if they were present they were so small or so few that we did not see or taste them. The atmosphere was great though for two friends that had not seen each other for months. The wait staff was attentive and did not try to rush us.
Baci never disappoints, and this time was no different! They had two specials on the menu (lamb shank and beef stroganoff) - my friend and I ordered both and they were fantastic! Not to mention the dessert (fresh pastry) and the Pinot! Just to make the experience even more perfect, our server, who I've seen every time I've been there, was very attentive and helpful. LOVE BACI!!!
Food was great and waiter recommendations were on point. Service was fast, we were there closer to closing time so it was not very busy, and the service was great. Ample wine selection and average beer options. I had something similar to a Blackened Chicken Florentine but with red peppers that was really good, and the Bolognese was good as well.
Overall, really good meal.
Enjoyed a wonderful meal with out of town guests the last evening before their departure. They were very impressed with the flexibility of the restaurant and staff to make several modifications to their meal. The food was really outstanding - all four of us had something different from the menu and they were all really delicious. We also enjoyed a nice bottle of wine and dessert. It was a return visit to Baci for me and my husband and we commented that it was really the best food we've had from our previous visits. We will definitely be back!
We arrived late in the evening and the restaurant graciously welcomed us and made us feel comfortable. Our bottle of Zin was priced reasonably and the service was excellent. I ordered nut encrusted Sea Bass and it was excellent. The Scampi and the Rockfish were only fair but the ambiance was very nice. I would recommend Baci's.
