Thanks again for a great dinner! We had several different dishes between the 8 of us and we all seemed very happy with our choices. Loved the tiramisu and the cocktails!
Perfect drinks, cuisine, and service. Had a wonder evening celebrating my friend’s birthday.
Always great experience
Been her over 25 times in the last 7 years!!! That’s a sign😊😊😊
Great dinner will go back soon!
Always friendly personal service from seasoned staff. New pasta primavera is outstanding!
Delicious meal, nice wine list. Good combination of small and larger dishes.
Baci is one of our favorite restaurants! Always good service and good food. We love sitting outside in the warm weather. Inside it is usually a bit too noisy, I don’t think there is a fix for this however, it’s the acoustics of the room.
Surprised my wife to dinner tonight for Valentine’s Day. We are locals and eat in several downtown Pleasanton restaurants.
Our dinner was going well until one of the servers spilled a hot cioppino soup on my brand new Erodi Pisano jacket and pants.
I know that accidents happen, but I was expecting someone to just say the word—“sorry.” The server did not apologize. He just said, “don’t worry, we will pay for dry cleaning.”
This was very disappointing as now I have to take my jacket to the cleaners and also totally ruined our Valentine’s evening. For this, I will not come back to Baci. I was not expecting for them to comp or discount my meal. All I wanted was an apology.
We made an early reservation to avoid the expected crowd for Valentine's day. We had to wait for almost 30 minutes before we were seated. Other than that initial annoyance, everything went smoothly. The menu had a good variety of choices, the service was professional and friendly and the quality of food and portions were very good.
My wife and I had a pre-valentine dinner here. The food was excellent. The lobster ravioli was very good and the steak was just as good. You could not ask for better service and the restaurant was romantically lit. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to all my friends.
Nice neighborhood restaurant. Food was good, service was friendly. We will return
We had a great dinner and the service was good. It has lovely atmosphere.
One year Anniversary
Food was good but the restaurant is a bit loud when you are having a conversation at your table. Overall the food was good and the evening enjoyable.
Nice place, friendly staff and good food—BUT pls stay away from the advertised “special” 2”powerhouse for $60, disappointing to get a 1/2” steak.
I had the rack of lamb...very good. My husband had the clam linguini and he said it was ok. My apple galette wasn't cooked long enough and it was served long after my husbands dessert.
I got together with some friends and this place was halfway in between us. The wine pour was generous and the appetizer was tasty. Loved the crusty bread. I ordered Chicken Milano. It was very tasty! It was a nice portion. I ended up taking some home. My friends stated that they liked their meals as well. We ordered dessert and had the almond tart with gelato. Nice tart and the gelato was yummy. Overall, a great meal!
only one visit so prefer holding off on comments except to say the decor was pleasant-rustic Italian.
Front door host was dressed as if he were about to go out and wash his car. Somewhat disappointing for an otherwise classy restaurant.
First table they gave us was wobbly and unstable. They moved us to another which was OK.
Our server was nicely dressed, pleasant, and efficient. Ambiance quiet & comfortable.
Food was excellent. Presentation was great. Flavor was delicious.
We'd go back there any time.
New ownership really elevated this place! Much more attention to the menu and service.
Food was great. Service wa below average. Noisy due to large group. Very slow to deliver mel. All other visits to this restaurant have been great. This evening must have been an exception.
Excellent food and service! We were seated 10 minutes early fr M our reservation time. Super friendly staff; excellent service; great wine selection and outdoor seating right in the heart of downtown Pleasanton.
A decent Italian meal in a very cozy setting. Attentive service and wonderful ambiance.
Great food, friendly waiters, best service, best margaritas on main, and beautifully decorated for the Holidays ❤️❤️❤️
We had a great experience. Thank you
Very consistent delicious food and great service. Lovely ambience. Festive and fun Full bar.
The service was really slow. But food excellent. Everyone enjoyed their food
We have made it a new tradition to meet our friends here for Christmas. It's the perfect blend of cozy and warm, but still very social. You can get hearty winter food, or eat light.
I had family coming from far away and wanted to treat them to a nice Christmas experience at Baci! I asked for a window seat. We did NOT get one!
We were seated by the Christmas tree. The tree kept hitting the back of our heads. Having made a reservation I expected a much nicer table and one by
the window!! The service was not very good. They were busy, but being the Christmas season , the management should have staffed much better.
Our food took a long time to receive, at least 45 minutes maybe longer. Two of us had a BLT sandwich. One had a hamburger and one had pasta.
The hamburger was over-cooked. They asked for medium and it was well well done!! The person who had the pasta did not like and they received a very
small portion. The Sandwiches were good but the French fries were soggy. I have eaten at Baci’s before and had very good food and excellent service.
I will try this restaurant again, but never on a holiday and during the Christmas season.
Baci is a reliable spot for good Italian food. They have expanded their menu--there are now more meat and fish options in addition to the excellent pasta. Dessert was also excellent. My wife and I had three courses. My rack of lamb was perfectly cooked. The only minor disappointment was the soup of the day--chicken noodle--did not sound interesting. We had salads. Baci is energetic without being loud and elegant without being snooty. I highly recommend it.
Nice wine selection and tasty food. Small and intimate restaurant with great service. Accommodated special requests.
Food was not flavorful or hot. Service was slow even though not busy. Requests were accommodated so that was one plus.
Excellent food in a quaint restaurant with a mom and pop feel. I highly recommend saving room for dessert!
Everything was fine, but we were left with the impression that things were on auto-pilot. Water glasses were left empty until we asked, the crab cakes were very nice, but plated with far too much mayonnaise.
A robotic ambiance -- nothing was wrong -- yet nothing was right.
My friend and I ordered the Greek salad. I think it was missing several of the ingredients that were described in the menu..... blistered vegetables, aged balsamic, red onion, cucumber, tomato, were missing or if they were present they were so small or so few that we did not see or taste them. The atmosphere was great though for two friends that had not seen each other for months. The wait staff was attentive and did not try to rush us.
Food service was incredibly slow (took 30 minutes to get our main) with no updates at all from the server. Very disappointing experience from an otherwise good place in previous dining visits
I would have given the restaurant 5 stars, but my friend and I ordered the same French toast, and one of her pieces was probably the smallest, last piece they had.
Would not go back. Ever.
Food was awesome.
