Food was amazing! Porcini Ravioli was extremely good, we also enjoyed the Calamari, caprese salad, gnocchi and the pasta with scallops! Don't have one complaint! Wine was good, quick service but very loud!
Important to note- No dessert available on Saturday’s.
The restaurant was worth the trip. Food was good and the service was just as good.
The Best Ever!!!!! just love rmtne consistency of food and service!
A classic North End Italian with really good food and atmosphere
Maybe our expectations were too high. I wouldn't recommend this place. Charged us $15 dollars for kids meals that not worth that. My order of chicken parm was not good.
Excellent food and service. Sat upstairs. We'll definitely be back.
Great time at Bacco. Come here frequently and have always loved it
Had to wait 30 minutes for a table and then was given a table in the bar. Noise level was terrible and bar patrons were all standing around the table. Not a good experience. Food was good but portions were on the small side. They give you allot of pasta but very little sausage.
Food was great, service was great but it was pretty cold inside on the main floor.
It’s one of my consistent go to restaurant’s for a great meal.
The food was delicious and our server was excellent. Loved the upstairs room and all the windows. Will definitely go back!!
loved the food - all was excellent and had a great waiter. This is our 2nd time to this restaurant. Our only complaint is the noise level - very very hard to hear each other talk! But it has great food. Best Tiramisu we have had in the North end!
We had a nice Connor table sharp waiter Nice menu and they did make some food revisions as I don’t have a good stomach Nice menu selections. ambience was nice and cozy what you would expect in the north end we had an overall great time We all said “will definitely return here “!! Fun place Ciao
Will definitely return hostess+ waiter very attentive nice North End restaurant like that there is bar area to wait to be seated.
1st time there & I thought it was solid.
Appetizers very good and entrees were good.
Lobster ravioli was a little disappointing but the gnocchi entree every good. Our third entree in the group was the Veal Saltimbocca which was pretty good.
Service was excellent...
Based on reviews I thought it would be better but still worth going to.
Favorite spot in the North End. Always seated in time, great service and of course - amazing food! Great bar area to get together with friends before dinner!
Love this restaurant
Great service and good bartender - she’s fast and makes good drinks
Nice menu and excellent Italian food
Reservations a must as it’s a small place
Food was authentic and well prepared dishes. We enjoyed the homemade pasta. Bread basket was good not great.
Service was lackluster and unenthusiastic.
New Year's Eve was our first time eating here. Good food, drinks, and ambiance. A short wait, even with reservations but that was to be expected considering the night.
Great food and great atmosphere! Highly recommended.
Food is amazing! Service outstanding! Try the chicken piccata!
We have been to Bacco many times, but usually in warmer weather when they have their windows open. The upstairs has hardwood floors, a plaster ceiling and brick walls, all hard surfaces that reflect the various conversations occurring simultaneously. It was so loud the other night we decided to not speak to one another over the ambient noise. They really need to consider an acoustical ceiling treatment and perhaps some tapestry absorb some of the noise.
The food was great, as always.
Went in with a group of four, did not have table ready based on our reservation. Had to wait about 10-15 minutes but the food was great, moderately priced and a neat view from upstairs.
Awesome restaurant will be back service food atmosphere great
Great food. Nice atmosphere.
We went for an early dinner before a show at TD Garden. Service was quick and the food was quite good.
Because it was unseasonably warm for November when we went to Bacco Boston, the floor-to-ceiling windows were wide open on the second floor and, since we were seated right by the windows, we had a great street view. This was the best of the North End! Great food and service.
The food was great. Service was great. Our table was upstairs right next to an open window and it was a beautiful night. The noise level is pretty loud but not to the point of being a problem. I would go back and I would recommend to others.
Recommended by our concierge and it did not disappoint. Everything was fantastic!
A friend and I made reservations here on the basis of a daughter's recommendation. It lived up to what we were told. We had an early dinner so the restaurant was not crowded or noisy. We ate upstairs. Our waiter was excellent. He did a good job of explaining various dishes and portion sizes. He was very attentive throughout the meal. My friend had an eggplant dish and I had the lobster ravioli. Both were excellent. We were too full to order dessert.
Birthday for my mom. I called in advance and they td me they have a limited dessert menu. At the end of the meal the server tells us they don’t offer dessert at all on Sat nights. We went to bar after to have an after dinner drink before our concert and we see a couple at a table having dessert. Very confused and disappointed???? Food was just ok in general. Server was fine nothing spectacular. Better places in the North End. We won’t be going back.
We live in Charlestown so we have visited many north end restaurants and this was the best we've had in a while. They had 3 specials and we had a hard time choosing 2 because they were all so yummy sounding. The two we chose were delicious and unique. Salmon on top of spinach ravioli with shrimp and another was veal on top of lobster ravioli. SO delicious and the portion was perfect. The ambiance is wonderful as well, sat upstairs with the windows open it was just lovely. We will be back again!
Love everything about the place but it was very hard to hear people you were with due to the acoustics.
But had a great meal, service etc...
My husband and I have been going to Bacco for our anniversary dinner every year since our first. This year was #19 and it was another superb experience! Everything about Bacco makes it the right choice for an amazing night out in Boston's North End... food, drink, service, ambiance. The staff is THE best thing about Bacco. What an awesome team they've assembled!
I took my mom that was visiting. We had a daughter/mom dinner and it was fabulous. Beautiful restaurant. Food was amazing!!! We order olives, wine and potato gnocchi. Best gnocchi I had in my life! Going back for sure!
Great food and ambiance. Wine delicious. Got together with family there and a nice night. Service was great too
Freedom trail. Italian food. Phenomenal. No wait and off the beaten path. Stop reading reviews just eat here.
fun, lively place. staff was very friendly and accommodating, despite how busy it was. portion sizes are small, but very tasty. our meat was very tough, which is disappointing for veal but other than that things were good. it's on the main strip in the north end, which is fun but feels a bit like a tourist trap. would give it another shot after going to other restaurants first.
