As always great food, wine and service. We have never been disappointed! Great menu options with the ability to go light or simple with wine and cheese or full menu. Delicious and perfectly prepared food!

Found this restaurant by googling and we are thrilled with our experience. Definitely will return. Food was delicious and uniquely prepared. Waiter was personable and attentive without rushing us.
My guest had the halibut which was really excellent and I had the scallops small plate which is more than enough and really delicious.
i believe the mussels were not as fresh as they could be. also, would like to see some creativity in menu. seems to be stagnant, and meitus is from the west coast. he knows better
Service was excellent and the food was oustanding. Our waiter was very attentive with excellent recommendations. The price of my mixed drink was more than i would have expected since i did not ask for an expensive bourbon. Overall, a great night out for my wife and myself.
All food is of excellent quality. Fresh. Small plates available. Excellent daily specials. Service is professional and attentive.

This place is amazing! I had the salmon, it was the best I've ever had. My husband had the rib eye and it was also delicious and cooked to perfection. It is well worth the price! We will be back!
The food, wines and cocktails were excellent - a nice selection of traditional as well as unique dishes. All cooked perfectly. The servers were knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. A lovely pre-theater dining experience!

Food was amazing but service was slow ! It seemed all the severs were not to hurried . That was ok but it took sometime to get our bill and dessert ! Water was refilled quite frequently . Overall average price for a nicer restaurant food amazing !

Good food and good service at Baccus. We shared some small plates and everything was excellent. The Garlic Bisque and the Squash bisque were great and the Bouillabaisse was terrific. It took a bit longer to get then bill than we wanted, but otherwise everything was excellent.

Another good dinner. Arrived early in the evening before going to Shea’s for Phantom. Excellent soups. Main course Tuna was a perfect rare. Duck requested as medium rare to medium was sadly cooked medium well (grey, no pink). The oddity of the evening? An additional “Prep: Rocks” charge on the ~ $150 dinner bill for two of $2.00 for adding ice to a Baileys after dinner drink ($8.00 + $2.00 = $10.00). Never before anywhere, have I seen nor heard of such a thing. $2.00 for a palm full of ice that took two seconds to put in a glass......Did I feel nickeled and dimed? Would you?
What a wonderful place! The décor is beautiful but welcoming and relaxing. The wait staff attentive, but never intrusively so. The food is delightful. I took a diverse group of work friends. The group ranged from pescatarians to carnavores. All found something to delight and please and we thoroughly enjoyed the evening. I am always shocked when I find Buffalo residents who don't know about it as it is one of my favorite restaurants in the country. I have visited 5 times over several years and it always relaxes and delights.

My wife and I dine here every time we are in Buffalo. We’ve always enjoyed the food and they have a great wine list as well.
Try one of their cocktail creations. They have some amazing originals that their bartenders/mixologists have created.
If you book ahead ask for a window seat. Great people watching.
I would like to see them switch up the menu a little bit but I guess what they have now is working well for them. It always seems to be busy when we are there. (Usually Sat nights)
Overall, I would recommend Bacchus. However, I was a bit disappointed with the server that our table had. She was absent from the floor a lot- much more than the other servers. And she was less attentive. Only checked in twice ... after meals were served and then again for dessert. She also mixed up the orders and one meal was overcooked and the other undercooked - different steaks and wrong sides. Would have expected more from a place with a reputation such as Bacchus. Bartenders were w ok wonderful however and made perfect cocktails.
In addition, I mentioned that this was a birthday celebration when making the reservation, and no mention of that at any time by hostess or server.
Our first time at Bacchus, and it was OK. Service was good, atmosphere was very good. Our food left something to be desired. My wife got the Bouillabaisse, which seemed like it needed something, and I got the Gnocchi Mac-and-cheese, which needed a lot of something. We're not that picky, the food just didn't have a lot of flavor. The beer (Heineken) was great, and my wife's champagne was good. We'd definitely go back, but hopefully the food is up to more the second time around, especially when its supposed to be one of the best restaurants in Buffalo.
Food was very good. Wine by the glass pours were on the light side. They do have nice selections and a nice wine list. Service was professional, efficient and timing of courses was
good. I recommend and will return. This restaurant pushes the envelope on pricing and overall value for the Buffalo market.
We dined here during Restaurant Week 2018. We were very pleased with the service from all involved. Our table was in a pleasant location, our drinks were delicious and the meals were everything we expected and more. It was a very pleasant evening and we will be back! We were pleased with the selections in both menus--the regular and Restaurant Week menu.
I’ve been to Bacchus several times and have never been disappointed with their food or drinks! The service could be better as there were several delays during our meal, but overall a wonderful experience.
It was wonderful! We were met with a champagne toast for our anniversary. The food was delicious!! Our waiter was superb! Just the perfect evening!
By far one of the best restaurants I have been to in Buffalo
First time visit - the ahi tuna was in the top 5 best I have ever had and the french blend wine was amazing. Excellent service. Great for a dinner before a show at Shea’s!!! We will be back soon.
Stopped for a quick dinner before heading to a show at Shea's, so, didn't want to drink or eat too much, and needed to get out in a reasonable amount of time. We began with dinner salads, with balsamic house dressing and crumbly blue. Excellent! Then for the entree, we both had the pecan crusted salmon on sweet potato hash and honey burre blanc sauce. This was one of the best preparations of salmon we have ever eaten. Fish was fresh and perfectly prepared. The honey burre blanc had just the right amout of sweetness; not overpowering, and the tiny cubes of sweet potato were the perfect comlement.
Service was also excellent.
And! Out in less than 1.5 hours.

The offerings are top notch. The tuna tartar was the best I have ever had, from flavor and texture to presentation. Worth stopping in for a glass and just the tuna. Decent wine selection and overall attentive service without hovering. But, did take a bit of effort to get my check even though they knew I was on my way to a show at Shea's. This was my first visit and I would definitely go again.
The food was amazing! Came to treat my boyfriend forhood birthday knowing you served roasted duck.. He loved it! So happy we came and will be coming back!

I thought the atmosphere in the restaurant was outstanding, and our server was awesome. My wife had the porcini mushroom ravioli and she was very pleased. I had the ribeye which I ordered medium well, and it came back what I would assume medium rare. I ate around te ends of it, which was cooked more to my liking. I took the rest of it home which my daughter heated up and ate later that evening. Overall the experience was great, just a bit disappointed with my meal choice. I will go back, but will probably stay away from the meat dishes.

We took my parents here for Easter and as always, had a terrific experience with the most delicious food and top-notch service. Bacchus never disappoints!
Went there for an Easter Brunch and get together with some friends. The menu is original with things you wouldn't see at other places. The food was delicious, though my home fries were cold. Great service though, timely with water refills, bringing drinks and food. Nice place to try new and different things while spending quality time with friends. Definitely recommend and I will definitely go back again.
My wife and I had a night out and decided to eat here and we were very satisfied with the entire evening. From the time we were greeted at the curb by the valet until the time we got our keys handed back to us. I look forward bringing my lovely wife back.
Elegant,excellent meal,very good service and wonderfully quiet with very good spacing of tables.Menu is not very large which is a plus so the chef can concentrate and the fewer but excellent selections.Appreciate the multiple small plates available. Dessert menu could be more interesting rather than the ubiquitous crem brulee and cheesecake.
