The bouillabaisse was amazing the first time I had it here. This time, it was completely different. Oily, soupy sauce, two pieces of gnocchi, a couple tiny dried out pieces of chorizo. Flavor not better than what could be produced from a HUNTs can of diced tomatoes. The halibut was very good. Risotto a little too mushy, but good flavor.

It has been a year or so since I last ate here, and the atmosphere didn't seem as high class as it once was. So many people in jeans and sweatshirts......

Got small plates and wine. Big wine menu. Food was great and the service was great. Will definitely be coming back!

The outdoor space is so wonderful and welcoming, even before it’s planted for summer! Wait staff is always terrific and so is the food. My fish was undercooked this time but sides and my friend’s chicken dish were the usual excellent quality! Wine list is excellent. My favorite spot in Buffalo!

Outstanding food and service. I ordered the duck and it was cooked just right-medium rare. The meat was tender with a lot of flavor. The pomegranate glaze was fantastic. I had leftovers and they kept well to later enjoy at home. The cheese cake amazing the homemade graham cracker crust amazing. The carpaccio was beautifully presented and the egg crostini with it, sooo good. I look forward to going again in the near very near future.

First time here in a few years. Better than I remembered! The small plates are now more like regular appetizers and salads—highly recommend the gnocchi Mac n cheese. Food was excellent. Great wine list as always. One of my all time favorite Buffalo restaurants.

Our server was outstanding. She was on top of everything. The steaks we ordered were cooked to perfection and flavor was top notch.

My sister and I both had birthdays this week. We were treated royally by all the staff. The restaurant was at 50% capacity due to COVID which made for a pleasurable dining experience. Supply chain/delivery problems led to difficulties in getting the after dinner drink I ordered, so the bartender used his creative skills to make a facsimile. Fantastic!

Friendly, timely service. As entrees, we had the bouillabaisse and filet mignon. The filet with spinach, potatoes and gnocchi was good, although unspectacular, and a bit on the room temp side. The stew was solid and tasty. By-the-glass wine menu was nice, had a beaujolais and a pinot that were pretty decent.

As usual, every course at Bacchus was delicious (from the Calamari & Rock Shrimp small plate, Filet Mignon and Rib Eye large plates, to the Hazelnut & Sea salt martini and Grand Marnier for dessert!) the service was impeccable (thank you Susan!). The ambiance is sophisticated, yet down to earth. Be sure not to miss Bacchus next time you go out to dinner!

Innovative menu and superb service.

What a wonderful dinner we had at Bacchus. Felt entirely safe because of the table positions and the fact that the bar is separated from the dining room area. Also, high ceilings made for plenty of air circulation

Fantastic food and service!

This was our first time dining inside since last fall. Everything was perfection. So glad Bacchus made it through the pandemic without skipping a beat.

I believe our waiters name was Kevin, not sure older gentleman. He was very nice and helpful. The food was amazing we will be back!

Ordered Ribeye medium. Came out somewhere between medium rare and rare on the inside. Got bloodier the further I went. Not impressed to say the least on top of the price for what I ordered. Won’t be back.

This was our first time at Bacchus Wine bar but it won't be our last. The food, atmosphere and service was excellent.

Service was horrible. We were the first to be seated and the last to be served. Food was “ok” but nothing to brag about. Very disappointed in the service. I hope they can improve this moving forward. I can say that I won’t be back any time soon. All the best to you.

Dined here on Saturday night. Everything was amazing from apps to dessert. I had the duck and my husband had the ribeye. Our waitress was very professional and attentive. One of our favorite restaurants. Highly recommend!

Our server was wonderfully knowledgeable about the flavor profiles of the menu. She explained how flexible the chef is; willing to create a dish with what he has on hand for his vegetarian/vegan diners which was great for me as I am one. It was the first time in a while that I had a vegetarian dish at a restaurant that was unique, something I wouldn't have made myself at home, and absolutely delicious! It was a perfect dinner experience for my boyfriend and I.

Everything was so great! The wine recommendation was just what we were looking for. The apps were interesting and so tasty! Our meals were phenomenal, and dessert is made in house and was also clever and delicious!
