    Cute modern restaurant. Staff was outstanding, cocktails top notch. Huge wine selection. Food was pretty dang delicious. The meats we had were cooked perfectly and tasted great, but the sides didn't seem to compliment them. They were decent though. I'd go back again. Give it a try!

    Very pleasant environment with attentive staff serving delicious food. Zucchini Dish was well presented and filled with many succulent flavors. Abundant wine selection to satisfy most anyone. Crime brûlée was excellent with a fairly nice portion to top off the meal. I would highly recommend giving yourselves some time to schedule a visit to this fine dining establishment in downtown Buffalo, NY.

    It was a busy night, but the staff kept up. The food tasted great. We never felt hurried. Our appetizers came out 15 minutes after our drinks and our dinner arrived 10 minutes after we finished our appetizers. It’s our third time here and it gets better every time. Thanks for making my wife’s birthday dinner a success.

    This was an outstanding restaurant. The service was very good and the waitress explained all the food and wine pairings. The smells of the food let alone the taste filled the room. The decor was very inviting and comfortable. The only thing that I wished was the tables were a little shorter, which would make it easier to speak and hear your guest. Definitely would go again!!!

    The calamari/shrimp starter and ahi tuna large plate are always my go-to but my fellow diners ordered a variety of offerings and everyone was highly satisfied. The service did not disappoint either. Always exemplary. No question that we will be back again as we have enjoyed our evenings at Bacchus many times before.

    A well established restaurant that has been there for 20 years. They know what they are doing across the board for cocktails, food and service. The only drawback was even with the restaurant about half full the noise from 3 or 4 large groups (8-12 persons each) was very intrusive and detracted from the otherwise very enjoyable meal. They need to put in a noise cancelling ceiling tiles. Bottom line...would still go back.

    We have been dining at Bacchus for the last 20 years and have always had a great experience. Like many popular restaurants, it is loud and difficult to carry on a conversation. The food is excellent, the wine list is extensive, and the service has always been excellent. However, on our latest visit we noted some minor deficiencies for the first time. The restaurant was very busy and there appeared to be a large group in a private section of the restaurant that may have required extra staff. This may explain some of the minor issues we experienced.

    Excellent dining experience. Was greeted by a friendly host who promptly took us to a recommended outdoor table next to a cozy fire. Began the meal with bisque and calamari special. Both were excellent with the bisque standing out as over the top good as something tasting straight from Maine. Tuna entree was AMAZING. Halibut special was top notch as well with incredibly fresh fish. Crème brule and coffee for dessert. Coffee surprisingly good. We will be back very shortly. 10/10

    Fantastic food. Top notch waiter. Great coffee. Superb dessert. Wondering valet. Started off a quiet ambiance with few people there but as the night progressed it definitely got louder. Not "too" loud, but when we got there it was so quiet we were hesitant to talk (everyone around could hear) to by the end we were talking medium-loud with no concern of anyone hearing us.

    The service was superb. This is my first time back to Buffalo in over 20 years. The restaurant was well appointed, and the food was delicious. I can’t say enough about the staff. I would definitely return next time I’m in the area.

    We ate in the outdoor patio and noticed it was not kept clean. When we left we noticed debris, garbage cans and just filth as we walked out the walkway. Very unappealing

    Bacchus was even better than I remembered. The dining room is beautiful with the most comfortable chairs of any restaurant. Ann Marie our server was awesome. Great drinks and amazing food. The bao buns, calamari, lobster bisque, Caesar salad, roast chicken, halibut and paella were all delicious!

    Alicia, our server, was wonderful! Attentive, great suggestion on wine choice, and fun to be around. The food was outstanding! The four of us split two appetizers, a beet salad, and carpaccio with egg crostini. Excellent. Entree choices were oyster on the half shell, Ahi tuna, Paella, and a special that night, Halibut. The preparation, presentation, and pairing with sides or garnish showed a lot of attention had been made to the entire plate! Yes, we will go back, often!

    Beet salad was inedible. Beets were so undercooked I couldn’t put my fork in them and serving with canned mandarin oranges was awful. Everything else was just okay and nothing remarkable or innovative.

    As always, the food was excellent and our server was very professional and kind. However, the food came out very slowly without explanation or apology and after a long wait, our entrees were just warm. Guests at three different tables who had arrived after us were served before us. We were celebrating my husband's birthday so it was in the end very disappointing.

    We waited over 30 minutes for service, with the manager walking by our table several times in that period. That said, Indigo’s service was excellent; he even offered us a complimentary taste of sparkling wine for our anniversary. I expected the manager to stop by, acknowledge our wait, and maybe comp our dessert. That didn’t happen, but still, I’ve been coming to Bacchus for many years and will be back again.

    Bacchus has an excellent and fresh food selection with an extensive wine list. Both my wife and I loved our starter and main course. However, the dessert, creme brûlée, was not at the same standard or quality as the rest of the meal. Other than dessert, our evening at Bacchus was excellent.

    We ventured into Buffalo after discovering that there are almost no high quality restaurants on the US side of Niagara Falls. This place had amazing food/wine and the staff were all so attentive and kind! Highly recommend!
