Good choice for Rohnert Park, which has a limited selection of decent restaurants in the area of Sonoma State, unfortunately.

Always greeted when we walk in and seated quickly. Service is great and food yummy. Drive from Santa Rosa for my 1 hour lunch break, and back had always worried me, but I'm in and out with a full belly.

What a great find. I hadn't been here since an Easter Brunch years ago, which I remember as being good then. But this night was exceptional. We enjoyed great food, service, wine and ambiance for a very reasonable price and on a Friday night without a reservation. It was great and we'll definitely go back for more!

We meet a couple for lunch prior to the concert. Split caesar salads with chicken. It was delicious. This food is a great value and very tasty.

I chose this restaurant based upon reviews. I expected the food to be somewhat expensive. We dined on Valentine's Day. They had a special menu with 4 or 5 entrees and limited starters and sides. This was not announced when I made the reservation. At $65 a head, before taxes and tip, the price was way too high for sitting in a chair with my wife on a booth seat for 1 person with screaming kids across from us. So, not only did I feel extorted with the menu and the price, the dinner was far from romantic. On the positive side, the portions were good and the food was cooked to perfection. Our waitress was very attentive.

We, my boyfriend, his daughter and I went on a Friday night around 7 and the bar and restaurant were very quiet with only a few people. That's fine for us and we sat next to the fire place which was warm and inviting. The wine list was acceptable and the food better than average for Sonoma County Hotel. The service was very good based on the lack of customers no doubt. I would return for a business lunch in which I wanted to have a quiet professional environment.

Can't say too much in favor of Bacchus... except for the 1,000pts w/Open Table. The setting in a hotel was more hotel than restaurant. Chairs were way too big and deep for enjoyable dining. Service was lacking... had to ask for our bill.

Be sure to ask for a doggie bag. You probably will have leftovers. My salad was perfectly seasoned and fresh. Others ordered BLT with a full plate of fries and chicken quesadilla. They were only able to eat half. A great value and convenient if you're going to SSU.

Dinner was delicious. Waitress was delightful. Our only complaint is that all tables were located near the door and each time it opened the cold air swept through the room.

The food is well below average. Kitchen is not accommodating to special requests of change. The Lightning is even too low for nightclub, let alone for seeing what we ate for dinner. My recommendation is to dine anywhere else. We will not return here.

Stopped at the hotel to grab lunch on the way home and even though at 2pm on a Sunday and the place was virtually empty, the food was freshly cooked to a high quality standard.

My daughter and I ordered a salad, which was good, and a roasted cauliflower dish which sounded very good on the menu. It came as one huge hunk of unseasoned roasted cauliflower atop a large mass of brown rice with chunks of butternut squash mixed in. On the side were some sautéed greens. The whole thing was difficult to eat--it shod have been presented as a chopped dish--and despite its healthy ingredients, it tasted quite bland. In a part of the country where superb food can be had almost anywhere, I would hold the Hilton kitchen to s higher standard than this.

Came for a reunion of sorts with old friends. They let us catch up with cocktails without pressure to order immediately. I had the cauliflower leek purée, which wasn't a super smooth consistently but the flavored were good. My steak sandwich was nice and sea salt Carmel creme brûlée was excellent.

We really enjoyed our meal. We started out with the calamari and for dinner had the salmon and the short ribs. The food was well prepared and we have also enjoyed breakfast the last two mornings in this restaurant.

We were staying at the hotel, so we invited my mother and aunt to join us for Mother's Day Brunch this past weekend. The food was yummy and beautifully presented. There was something for everyone. Lots of healthy option as well as treats. The ballroom was decorated nicely.
I have only two critiques. One being our waitstaff. When we were sated 2 servers welcomed us, asked what beverages we would like and promptly served us. The waiter did not however explain that is was only buffet and to go ahead and help ourselves.Three of us had mimosas, however no one ever offered us a second glass. The second was the price. $50 per person is kinda steep considering the four adults eat very little. (Not big buffet people, and did not drink or eat $50 worth of food). For the 5 of us (kid was under 5) the bill came to more than what we paid for the one night in the hotel. I'm just saying.

I visit this place frequently for lunch with coworkers. It's not in great location, but the staff is exceptional. I have tried almost every item on the lunch menu and I have been pleased each meal has been well done. The price is good and the service is exceptional. Dining room is laid out nicely for large groups or just for two grabbing a burger.

We came here for an early dinner before a show at Green Music Center at Sonoma State. It was "Earth hour" so the lights were off and there were candles everywhere, creating some nice ambiance. However, the eating and drinking part of the experience left much to be desired. For a wine bar, they had a very limited by-the-glass selection, the Cosmo was awful, and they didn't have the ingredients to make a Kir Royale (I think there are just 2!). We felt menu was limited, and overall not very tasty or high quality. Very disappointed!!!

Bacchus is convenient to the Green Music Center before or after the classical music concerts for the Santa Rosa Symphony. However, the menu is quite limited, although the food is good and the service is gracious. It needs more variety in the men. Also the dining room chairs are very uncomfortable. The seats are extremely wide and deep. I always need a pillow to support my back and bring me closer to the table. The whole room could use some modernizing.

I'm guessing most guests of Bacchus are staying at the Double Tree where it is located; either up for wine tasting tours or Graton Casino. We have eaten here three (3) times, and each time was very good. Great for a casual dinner, or as in 2013, it happened to be our New Year's Eve restaurant with a prix fixe menu. If you are a burger fan, order the burger! Enough said. Now, our server was Allison. Bubbly and bright with a genuine need to please, she took care of us without being intrusive or up-selly. I thought she'd been doing this a while, due to her high end customer service acumen. Turns out it was her 2nd night serving! Although the manger was less than interested in our compliments, I wanted to call her out on Open Table for a job well done. We'll definitely be back soon.

With few restaurants open on Christmas Day, the selection was limited. Having said that, Bacchus did an excellent job.Dinner was excellent, service well above par, though we did feel rushed. The cost was what you'd expect given the day and location. Just wish that they would pour a decent glass of wine. Five ounces for over $10 is a bit steep and in the middle of wine country.

Thanksgiving for two at a table by the fireplace. Service was exceptionally attentive---occasionally too quick, and too quick to remove plates. Would have enjoyed a few moments of relaxation and conversation between courses, but better than the alternative. Food was tasty and hearty with good choices, and served hot.

Our children have scattered all over the USA and this was our first Thanksgiving dinner ever at a restaurant. Our grandson now living in Rohnert Park was our reason for choosing Bacchus. We enjoyed ourselves very much and nothing disappointed. The food was delicious and arrived promptly. The pumpkin cheesecake replaced our traditional pumpkin pie nicely.

We went to Bacchus for a family birthday party. There were 7 people in our party and they put us in a private room which was GREAT! We were able to be as loud as we wanted. The service was perfect and everyone really like their food and we all ordered something different. I would recommend Bacchus for a fun and delicious get together.

Usually my experiences with dinner in a hotel restaurant have been less than stellar, and just 'ok'. I happened to be there for a conference and met my niece for dinner who is local. This restaurant exceeded my expectations. It was very nice, we were in the fireplace dining room next to the windows to the beautiful patio area. It was quiet and elegant and perfect for a long conversation. The servers were terrific, not too intrusive but always there when needed. The food was excellent and beautifully presented (though a little on the expensive side- $12 margarita) I would return again when in the area and already recommended to local friends. Next time we'll sit on the patio (next to the golf course) and enjoy a warm summer evening.

food good, service good. The chairs were made for people at least 6 foot 6 inches, terrible. So big it gave me no back support. Had to sit up the entire time. Then I squeezed in beside my wife on the couch side to Finnish the meal.

This was our second holiday brunch at Bacchus. The first was Mother's Day a few years ago. The staff was pleasant and attentive. We were immediately directed to our table, which for me is always a plus. Our waiter Habi was superb! The only issue was the lighting place on the floor. My wife tripped and nearly fell. It was good ambiance but is a trip hazard. All in all, I would return and have been recommending to co-workers.

Bacchus has improved and added to their menu which used to be rather limited. The food is excellent and the service was great. The restaurant manager personally talked with us not just superficially but in-depth to ensure we were satisfied. The staff was attentive and courteous. The only downside were the very deep chairs which required a large pillow - which they eagerly provided - to support your back. We will be returning often

We dined during SC Restaurant Week. Our first course came and my MIL didn't like her soup, also our soup wasn't very warm and our waitress didn't come back to check on us until everyone else had already finished. Then entrees; My husband asked for his steak medium rare and it came well done. I had to flag our waitress down so she could fix the problem. Again, we all finished our meals by the time the steak came out, again overcooked, and he had already eaten the sides on his plate so everything else wouldn't get cold. Then dessert, the worst part. It was supposed to be a brownie with ice cream on top. First off the ice cream was half melted when it came to us and the brownie was rock hard. I couldn't eat any of it. Don't waste your money!

We went middle of the road price wise at $29.00 per dinner. It was a great experience. Everything was very nice; service, food, wine
list and ambiance. Will eat there again. We liked trying Restaurant Week as we had gone last year and this was our second. A great
way to try new places to eat out.

Bacchus is located in the Hilton Double Tree Hotel in Rohnert Park. It's kind of a hybrid between a coffee shop and a restaurant and serves breakfast and lunch as well as dinner. For breakfast, you have a choice of a buffet or menu items. The buffet was very good and a cut above typical hotel fare. The dinner menu consists of various appetizers and salads, steak, seafood, chicken, ribs, and pasta, along with a fairly extensive wine list. Prices are moderate. The food was flavorful and the service attentive, though a little slow considering that the restaurant was less than half full. Our main complaint was the uncomfortable oversize dining chairs, which force you to sit forward in the seat and thus offer no lumbar support.

I came back to check out the dinner menu after I had been there for appetizers and wine which was very nice. I liked the menu that had "gf" indicated for those needing a gluten free option. I had the shrimp cocktail and the NY steak for dinner. My husband had the fish and chips. My steak was cooked perfectly to a medium but the steak was placed over what I thought were too many potatoes and I was expecting something green since the there wasn't much color to the plate. My husband said the fish was flavored very well as well as the coleslaw. The menu prices I felt was a little too high especially when there's no soup or salad included with the steak dinner whereas there are other locations that do offer this with a lower price.
