Fantastic New Year's Eve menu. We really enjoyed the experience.
Superb tuna tartar, endive salad, branzino and duck! Excellent service and ambience!
Great food in a warm, industrial atmosphere, served by very kind waiters!
I'll come back if I would have the chance
My family had an excellent time! Fantastic service.
Loved the food - everything was just - well - perfect. Half a dozen of oysters and a glass of bubbly, grilled branzino with celery root puree and and apple tart tatin with whipped cream. Pleasant quiet atmosphere and excellent service.
Miguel (subsequent server) was great. Avocado tartine was light, delightful with balanced fresh flavors. Lobster Benedict is slightly overpriced for what is plated. Good balance. We didn’t appreciate the inebriated Asian customer (I’m Asian too) who was so drunk she was loudly wailing and splayed out her entire body lying on the bench with her feet up and hitting the table. At brunch time. This went on for a prolonged period. No staff approached her at all. Staff may be retrained to the management’s discretion of how to better handle a ruly diner at the expense of all of the diners on the floor—the tables had to silently stare, obviously uncomfortable until she staggered out of the restaurant. We almost elected to need to leave right away. But our mimosas arrived and we wanted to be able to tip the female server.
Delicious and great service! Beautiful space- great for a brunch with friends.
Food was cold would never go there again
Delicious food, hospitable staff, intimate space.
We celebrated our anniversary at Bacchus and not only did we enjoy an amazing meal but the service was impeccable. From the moment we walked in we were greeted and treated as though we were the only ones in the restaurant. Will definitely return.
Went for Thanksgiving menu. I was seated in a very tight area in very close proximity to other diners. It was a bit uncomfortable until some diners started to empty out. I waited an hour before someone plopped a tiny bowl of brown liquid down on my table without a word. The menu stated they’d be serving butternut squash soup. When I asked, the server said they changed the menu. However, no one bothered to mention it to me. The soup was cold, even when I asked for a another bowl of hot soup, they served it lukewarm. The appetizer was lukewarm and cold in some parts. The entree was fair. Dessert was good. I didn’t get my entree until about 1 hour and 15 minutes after I was seated. Horrible service and a forgettable meal. I had to ask someone to clean up the dirty dishes around me that other diners had left from an hour prior.
We went last minute for Thanksgiving and had great service and food. Highly recommend it!
Thanksgiving dinner with family Baccuss was terrific! Outstanding and friendly service and the meals were wonderful. A bit pricey but what restaurant nowadays is not pricey? We had an amazing experience at Baccus.
Everything was wonderful!!
This is a lovely restaurant with wonderful food. Staff is gracious and professional
The French onion soup, duck and chicken special were amazing! The wine, food and experience exceeded our expectations!
We hosted a 45th birthday for 12 people, and the wait staff was welcoming and attentive the entire time. Great neighborhood restaurant with incredible french bistro type foods from the duck to the steak to the tasty and balanced salads and cheeses. Their wine selection is always on point.
We had a small wedding rehearsal dinner for my son’s wedding at Bacchus and couldn’t have had a better experience. The staff was incredibly helpful in the planning, the service was friendly and gracious, and the food was delicious. Thanks to everyone at Bacchus for a memorable start to a special weekend!
Beautiful neighborhood restaurant run by the nicest people. The service was attentive and amazing but not overbearing. The food is amazing and the French Onion soup was a stand out. This would be a perfect date night.
So amazing! Great French onion soup
Food was fantastic. Service good and staff was very warm and welcoming.
Wonderful staff and wines. The sommelier will not steer you wrong. And the food is great, as usual. One of my favorite spots.
Always such a pleasure to spend brunch, lunch or dinner at Bacchus! Especially love the garden, but the inside is lovely as well. Everyone who works there is always so nice and happy to accommodate. Always delicious!
Excellent service… but the food not good at all
Some nights are great some not so .... We have been there before. There is no question that the ambiance is fantastic.
This time, while service was very good, all else didn't quite make it. Forgot our order so we waited very very long - stuff happens. Value is ok.
Delicious food, Great service
This is a really nice space with great ambiance. The food was well prepared and the service was spot on. Bacchus is however not designed for parties of more than four people at any seating. We had six people in our party and while we were able to combine tables together, it was awkward. So if you are a couple or a group of three/four this is the right place for you in Brooklyn.
Such a pleasant space. They don’t rush you away from your table. Amazing place to spend time with people. Great food. Amazing ambience.
Our waiter was very good. He was super busy but took the time to offer us tastes of wine before we selected our bottles . We sat outdoors and it was quite pleasant. Everyone enjoyed their meals. We had been in Manhattan for a few days and we all agreed the food was just as good if not better.
Authentic French bistro. Duck rillette was outstanding. Hanger streak tender & tasty. Nice chocolate dessert. Interesting wines and good value
10/10 experience, food incredible - bit gutted they didn’t have the lobster ravioli but our lovely waiter offered an spinach alternative that ended up being the star dish of the night. Staff is just so sweet and nice, great wine recommendations too. Will come back for sure
Burrata and creamed spinach were outstanding. Ribeye steak was very good, the sides were excellent (sauteed mushrooms and roasted potatoes). Very friendly staff. Love the courtyard and lighting! Staff accomodated our request for a 4-top even thought there was only 2 of us. A 2-top would have been too small so our experience was made much better by a larger table.
Love this place so much
Good experience. Good food. Excellent service.
Food was fabulous! Perfect portions, ambiance very cozy the only 8/10 was the crembrulee everything else 10/10.
My wife wants to go back before we leave NYC.
We needed to accommodate a large group so we made reservations. Food was great and the server was doing the best she could and was very upbeat and pleasant. That being said it was a very leisurely dinner because maybe they are short staffed like everyone else. Worked out for us!
Outstanding service, amazing food and a great selection of wines. Our server was very tentative— exceeding our expectations. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations.
The food was good. The service was slow and they messed up my order and didn't apologize or address it.
